Missanu I played piano for a year. Then I got frustrated, and the hard time of fourth grade started, so I quit. In fith grade I was assigned to cello, but it was hard to do the bowing, and since I was big enough for a full size it was hard to transport that giant thing to and from school. So they switched me over to cornet, and I decided to play it next year, except it would be trumpet.
I still do play trumpet, but it's hard because I've always had trouble reading notes. This year it's going to be more like a real band, because we're going to have chairs and go on tour. Next year there will be a jazz band, and I've made it a goal to get into it. Oh the trumpet, I can never play it. After I blow into the thing, my face got all red. xd

Oh yeah, and I forgot. I WAS going to play saxophone, but then the teacher said that too many people signed up for saxophone so I decided to do trumpet. I'm VERY relieved that I went with trumpet, because the band classes were hard as is with an instrument I was already familiar with!
I'm considering playing baritone though, because there are no people who play that in band so they have to switch some brass to baritone/tuba and some woodwinds to double-reed instruments.

Missanu Blowing is easy. You just have to put your lips together blow through them, making that weird...noise. XD. You have to keep your cheeks firm though. I stink at blowing. xd That's why I chose strings. Playing band instruments makes me dizzy. I played flute once, and I was too dizzy to stand up. xp

Brilliance Missanu Blowing is easy. You just have to put your lips together blow through them, making that weird...noise. XD. You have to keep your cheeks firm though. I stink at blowing. xd That's why I chose strings. Playing band instruments makes me dizzy. I played flute once, and I was too dizzy to stand up. xp that is because the flute takes a hella alot of air o.o;; trumpets don't take as much air and has fairly easy fingering. Only 7 finger positions 3nodding

It does? I notice the people that play the flute don't get red in the face. But everyone else did. Especially them saxamaphone people. There were only 3 people playing the sax, 3 clairenet, and 2 trumpet, and 15+ on the flute. o_O
I borrowed my friend's flute. And it was a lot easier to make noise with than my clairenet. gonk

And one of them made a big dent because he missed and hit a music stand. xd But that's what guys do in strings class. They poke eachother with bows. o_o And broke a few. Not. A lot. The band teacher told us that once, two guys were playing with the trumpet, and one guy poked the other guy in the eye with it, and... it got pretty bloody. o_o"
