Lirian looked up as the chamber door opened, allowing his new companion to exit. He moved forwards offering up his shoulder, "We should get out of here now," He said softly, he had not known Dars for very long and has of yet to form a strong bond with him.

"Hold on kid, that was tiring, I need to catch my breath..."
After a couple of seconds he pushed himself away from the wall and stretched. He began to lead the way out through the cloister of trials.
"C'mon Lirian, I have a sending to perform I suppose. My first one."
Sin had attacked earlier, Besaid's summoner had perished in that attack. The townspeople had asked Dars to perform the sending, he had to refuse, he wasn't a full summoner then. He was a full summoner now though, he could send all the dead in Besaid.

Lirian followed Dars outside, Besaid stank of the dead and to his slightly keener then average nose it was overwhelming. People were crying, they had expected Sin to return but somehow it had caught them off guard.
Lirian had never seen a sending before and his body tingled slightly with the prospect of it. Everyone seemed to be so sad, and he looked expectantly towards Dars.
"Maybe we should eat first," He offered softly, for all his not knowing Dars the man had freed him from the orphans life he led in Bevelle. "You could faint,"

"I'll eat when I'm done. I.... I need to do this now."
Dars walked to where the coffins were located, he looked at some of the tributes loved ones had paid to the dead. He took his staff in hand and began to dance. Soon pyreflies were surrounding him as the sending progressed. People were crying all around yet Dars eyes were strangely hard, there was something in them that didn't seem quite right. When the sending was complete Dars walked back to the young mage, as he spoke his voice was calm and measured, yet there was a slight tremble in his voice.
"I have to stop this. I will stop this."
Dars clutched at his stomach as he got a slight pain there, it grumbled.
"I guess I need food. Good thing about being a full summoner now is that I won't have to pay for my eats."

A girl in her mid-teens sits in a palm tree on the edge of the group of crying people, she wasn't there to greive, just scout out this new summoner. she was wearing what most teens her age wore, an island style blue, white and green skirt down to her knees and a white shortsleeve shirt, her hair was pinned back and reached down to her elbows. she was throwing a blitzball from hand to hand and humming the hymn as she watched the new summoner send the newest batch of dead. i'm sick of sitting around... something has to be done about sin, and i'm not one to wait for others to do it. i wonder if they'll let me join them,that is what i came here for after all.

Lirian nodded in reply, he was far too shocked by what he had seen to say anything yet. Finally finding his voice he looked towards Dars, "What was that thing?" He asked at length, "Was it Sin?" Lirian had lived in Bevelle and been born as the previous calm started, he knew little of what exactly Sin was even if he understood everything else about it.
The tears had not stopped, people around them crying over their loved ones, Lirian had never seen such open displays of grief and he was very unsure of how to act towards it. He had never seen adults cry before, but all the adults he had dealt with were sombre monks and he knew enough to know that they were very far from normal.

Calli - I've spoken with Elec and we both have a request. To make the RP more organic we're going to pick people up along the way. Seeing as you have references to Luca, we thought you might like to be picked up there. We're hooking up with Saffire in Kilika.
If animus wouldn't mind we'd like to hook up with her character in Besaid.
Vilya, we'd like to pick you up on the boat between Kilika and Luca.
timing wise: Dars, Lirian and Sariel will leave Besaid and go to Kilika, meet up with Hoelun get Ifrit and head to Luca, on the boat they meet Elizabeth and then in Luca find Calli.

Dars kept quiet and headed back to the temple, he went into one of the side rooms where a meal was already waiting for the two of them. He sat down and rubbed his eyes
"Eat up and get rest early. We leave at dawn."
Dars began to eat.

Lirian did as he was told, eating in complete silence with his eyes hidden from Dars. He wasn't tired, like any child his age he was very excited by what he had seen that day and being sleepy was no way to deal with that.

((ok but what is that gonna take? like a week? i'm a very active rper when i join things so i'd kinda like to join the team as quickly as possible. could i like maybe join up in kilika or somethin?but if not then i guess that's ok too.))

The samurai sat far back from the crowd, not wanting to be in earshot of the mourning--nor in smelling distance from the bodies. It was bad enough he knew some of the corpses, smelling them was worse. He sighed through pursed lips and adjusted his scabbard.
"'Looks like I'm going to have to splurge tonight," Sariel muttered and began walking away--which would, unfortunately, lead him through the assemblage.
He was looking for an inn. The number of Sinspawn in the area was beginning to worry him, the samurai was not in the mood to end up being supper to some ungodly creature.
((OOC: And the master plan is put into motion...mwa ha ha (lol). ))

((Calli, hopefully it wont take a week, I know what you mean and we're gonna try and speed through the islands as quickly as possible))
Dars finished his meal and stood up
"There's a big purple tent in the village: the Crusader's tent. We'll sleep there."
Even when he was training to become a summoner Dars had always avoided sleeping in the temple if he could help it, he didn't get a good rest when he did. Dars got up and went to the tent, jostling a Samurai on his way there.
"Oh, pardon me." He bowed and performed the summoner's prayer
((If you look at all the prayers in X you'll see that different people do it in different ways. I've decided that in this rp you do a different prayer depending upon your background. eg. summoners do one type of prayer, blitzers do another, priests do a different one and a normal townsperson from besaid will do a different one too. For the moment you will be allowed to decide which prayer you do so long as it fits. I dont want a kilika townsperson to be doing a Summoner's prayer))

Sariel mentally kicked himself for not paying attention.
"It's quite alright," he said, executing his own prayer. It was probably his own fault for running into this man.
The samurai was about to turn away when he spied the other's staff.
"You are the new summoner?" it was more of a statement than a question. Sariel looked him over out of habit, not meaning to be rude.

Lirian looked past Dars to the newcomer, performing the standard Yevon version of the Prayer in greeting; he said nothing though, waiting for Dars and the stranger to make their introductions first.
