On her way inside Maylin noticed Matt out on the lawn even though it was already dark out. So she walked over to him.
".. Here.." She handed him a piece of fruit from her apron. "..remember to get some sleep." After saying good night to him she made her way back inside, put the fruit away in the fridge and went to her room to sleep.

He nodded slightly and layed back. It was a nice night and he fell asleep on the lawn. Later he would wake up and slowly eat the fruit he had been givin. Smiling he remembered how delicious it was as he slowly fell to sleep. He would need the energy come sunrise.

A little bit before sunrise Maylin woke up. She made her bed before taking her shower. When she was done she wrapped herself in a towel and went to her room to dress. After digging through her closet she decided on a blue dress with a purple flower print on it. then She tied on her apron, grabbed her and her sister's dirty laundry from the bathroom and headed down stairs to put them through the wash.

Matt was already waiting for her in the washroom. He was leaning up against the dryer as he waited. He watched her come down the stairs and smiled. Standing carefully he waited for any orders he might be given. He really didn't wash cloths so he hoped she would atleast tell him the basics if she even made him do it. He would insist on atleast helping though.

"Oh!" She was really surprised to find him already up, none the less waiting in the wash room. "Good morning Matt!" She smiled brightly being already wide awake and refreshed. She started putting the laundry in the washer before she completely realized that he was actually there to do it, but by then she was already done loading it. "So.. would you like something to eat?" She knew he was supposed to be working with her but it was breakfast time and Morika wouldn't be up till at least dawn.

Matt smiled and looked at her loving the suprise on her face. He wasn't sure what to think, but he knew she smiled a lot. "Good morning to you too," He replied standing up and letting a slight yawn escape his mouth. "Oh that sounds great, but maybe I should cook for you or something, I definitely need to cook for your sister."

"If you want to cook you can, but Morika probably wont be up till at least lunch time." Maylin skipped off to the kitchen/dinning room. When she got to the dinner table she spun around on one foot and looked back at him. "So do you want to cook?"

"Sure...I may need practice or even lessons before I can cook anything edible. I'm a quick learner if you don't mind teaching me," He said walking in and standing infront of her looking around the room noting the beauty of the whole house. ((Need to go.))

"Okay!" Her smile grew wide and she darted into the kitchen. "Oh! What do you want to make?" She asked while looking through the packed fridge. "Any favorite food?" ((kay, write when you can again.))

Matt followed her into the kitchen and looked around. He wasn't sure but he figured something easy and breakfast like would be good so he answered, "How about bacon and eggs?"

"Okay!" She grabed some baccon and a carton of eggs from the fridge and layed them on the counter. Then she bent down and dug a frying pan out of the cubbord. ".. so.. where to begin.. do you know the basics?" She asked as she continued to do hte prep work.

"Oh yes. I have cooked a little just not enough to know enough to cook for Morika," He said smiling and watching. Matt would have to learn to cook atleast for the sake of saving himself some trouble when he was ask to do it.

"Oh.. well Morika is fond of fish, if that helps at all... so, I'll stand back and watch to make sure you don't burn the bacon or the eggs." She washes her hands again after she finished the prep work.

He nodded slowly grabbing the eggs and cracking them one by one on the corner before plopping them into the frying pan. He then procceeded to put bacon onto the griddle cooking it.

Maylin stood back nodding slightly while watching.
".. so.. out of curiosity.. what was your childhood like?" She asked him as she leaned back on the counter behind her.
