He'd have lots of strength to rely on and such...and he can strategize too. ^_^ So he might get a plan for escape. ^_^

And to those of you who said you'd want Tifa there for "you know what"...that really wouldn't help you at all. stare It's more important to get off of the island rather than have sex with someone until both of you starve from not doing anything. rolleyes

Ai Ai mo Capitan... Plus, I'm sure as hell Tifa wouldn't give herself away to anyone just because they are stranded on an island. That goes for all the FF7 crew, especially Aeris.

Hm... Never thought of Cid.... Always thought of him as a pilot, and that that wouldn't really help them out on a "stuck on an island" situation.... Only thought of Vincent, Red, and Aeris.

With Vincent, he too is a smart dude that could think of a way to survive on the island. And, as I said before, with a full limit break, he could fly us out of there.
Red is probably the smartest out of all the FF7 crew, so I can rely on him. With his cool head, he wouldn't go all crazy on me, and we'd be like Galford and Poppy (to anyone who knows that easter egg, kudos to you).
With Aeris, she's a kind and sweet woman who knowsher way with nature. She might need a little protecting, but she can adapt to what's given to her and do it with a smile.

The last one MAY be a little bit towards my fanboy side.... But, I have to be able to be perverted after all the times I've been smart.... My brain hurts...

Cloud. No doubt about that.
Vincent would be another acceptable choice, Seph too, of course, given his pre-Nibelhiem state. xd

or Vincent - I dunno I just like Vincent. o.o Maybe he can find a way back.

I'd choose pre-death Zack over pre-Nibelheim Sephiroth, even though I like Sephy's aesthetics more. Why? Because not only would Zack be resourceful on the island, I could actually have a conversation with him while I'm at it. Failing that, pre-death Aeris, just to have someone interresting to talk to that has the same strength and resourcefulness that I do, so I don't feel so bad wink Failing all that... Hmm... Maybe Red, Yuffie, or even Reno.

As you can see, my main concerns are resourcefulness and seeking a competent conversational partner.

I'd have to say...Aerith. Even if I wasn't a crazed Aerith fanboy, I'd still pick Aerith, because I'd need someone fun to talk to.

Tifa would be my second choice, not for well, the other obvious reasons that people seem to use, but for the same reason as Aerith.

Followed by Nanaki. His tail would be useful in many situations.

Reasons why other characters won't work:

Cloud, Sephiroth, and Vincent-I need someone to talk to.
Yuffie-Two Ninjas on the same island=Not possible
Cait Sith-His accent would get on my nerves
Cid and Barret-I don't like pointless cursing
