the guy is very.. er- weird. but you can't help but feel sorry for the guy.. yet i don't see how reawakening U-DO will do any good. thoughout the Xenosaga series you can hear... "boss battle with U-DO , boss battle with U-DO."

I dont feel sorry for him, anyone who saw the epilogue would know that he got exactly what he wanted. I admit that i was extremely sad when he first started dying, but after seeing the epilogue, my tears were dried for i knew he was now even more powerful than ever.
((Note...Albedo is my favorite character))

AmnaUmen I dont feel sorry for him, anyone who saw the epilogue would know that he got exactly what he wanted. I admit that i was extremely sad when he first started dying, but after seeing the epilogue, my tears were dried for i knew he was now even more powerful than ever. ((Note...Albedo is my favorite character)) That, I would beg to differ on. He didn't want power--he wanted very ardently to die so that he didn't have to suffer through Junior's death. Now, if anything, he's even MORE immortal than he was, and forced to take an outsider's role to any events except those he's explicitly forced to interfere in. What if Wilhelm told him to stand aside and watch Junior die? What if Wilhelm ordered him to kill Junior? Food for thought. --CVirus

  Yeah I do. That's probably what made him evil in the first place... fear.Fear leads to anger which leads to hate. I feel sorry for him... When I was at that part, me and my sister were like 'awwww poor guy *tear*'

During "THAT" scene...I was crying, because I was happy for Albedo. I was the one all throughout the first game saying "I LOATHE him. He's creepier than Muraki! I hate hate hate Albedo!" It wasn't until I went back and actually listened to what he was saying when I realized...
Oh, geez...we have a lot in common. o_o;;;
Imagine how scary that revelation would be XD My favorite song from Xenosaga is the one that plays during his release..."I am free" I still cry when I listen to it. I guess it's exceptionally emotional for me, because I was able to make sense and agree with most of his theories and views...though not how he acted and went about accomplishing them.
I only felt sad and sorry for his fate when it was 'revealed' what became of him. Living against your will...in any form...is hell...

To a certain extent i pity him, but not entirely. Yes, he is immortal (at least so far as we can tell), but he hasn't even been living that long yet. He is just as old as Rubedo and Gaignun. I really dont see a reason to pity him that much yet.

~~Shion U.~~ Of course I do! It's just really sad to find out that all of your friends will die and you'll never know what it feels like to do the same. It really hurt me when I saw that video in MOMO's Encephalon because he cried. (Which isn't something you see everyday) So...yeah. You're not the only one who feels bad... sad Not knowing the experience of death wouldn't be so bad, taking into accout our very limited understanding as to what, if anything, lies beyond. However, knowing that everyone you'll ever know will all-too-soon leave you all alone over and over again would be a VERY sad thing, indeed. I'd probably flip out, too, if that was me. Course, I'd be already long gone (mentally) as soon as I knew I couldn't die. cool EDIT: He is hands-down my favourite character next to Mrs. T-Elos (kneels and bows to her effigy)

I feel bad for Albedo and can empathize a bit with him. I'd hate to have to know that the people I love would die and I would remain.
