I've shortened Chapter 3 so you can get it tonight... ninja Ruin my fun... xd Naw, it seemed like a good place to end anyways... Aww... Big let down for you... So sad... I bleed for you... sad xd (I'm a b***h, I know. I'm so horrible to all my Heros/Heroines in my stories... First sign of true romance and then BIG LET DOWN... Cause I just love to do it. Good thing they're not real or they might hate me...) One of my Fan Fics... (Inuyasha Fan Fic...) The Heroine is about to get it on with teh Fluff-chan... And then BIG LET DOWN! Broke her heart in pieces, cause I could... And let her develop suicidal tendancies over it... But she recovered... wink

eek ... when I was almost done with this section I wanted to pounce Gambino and hit him over the head until he came to his senses. After finishing, though, I'm thinking that I pity him. I'm wondering what his reasoning is. He was so happy... what changed him?
You are a great writer, Sugar. Really! From one writer to another, this is one of the most intriguing things I've seen. I love it! More! More must come! blaugh

Seishin-chan eek ... when I was almost done with this section I wanted to pounce Gambino and hit him over the head until he came to his senses. After finishing, though, I'm thinking that I pity him. I'm wondering what his reasoning is. He was so happy... what changed him? Dunno... ninja There are many theories as to the absense of Mrs. Gambino. I haven't decided which path I will take. I honestly feel sorry for Gambino now-a-days so I think it reflects in my writing. Had I written this part before the X-mas story... I think little pitty would be evident. I really hated him before hand. Seishin-chan You are a great writer, Sugar. Really! From one writer to another, this is one of the most intriguing things I've seen. I love it! More! It's wonderful... xd A lot of my male friends were cheer leaders, and my friend Johanes, the foreign guy, used to have really long hair, but they cut it kinda short for the game. I'm sad cause all that beautiful hair is gone... But he made a pretty girl, disturbingly enough.

Chapter 4: Say 'Hello' to Goodbye
Gino stared out the window from his bed. He wasn't sure what time he actually fell asleep or how, if he did at all, he climbed into his bed. He certainly did not remember striping himself of his own clothes... But he had nights like that before. The moist had collected upon the windowsill and droplets ran down the glass. He blinked twice and rubbed his eyes. What a night it had been... If memory served him well, it didn't end in the best possible way. Quick flashes of the night before flew through his mind. He held his head, feeling a headache beginning to seep into his cranial and he moaned with displeasure. He was always like this after a fight with his father... He wasn't quite sure why. All he knew was that it was to be a day of returning to old habits. The light outside was still dim and the sun had not yet rose, but he felt like it was already late in the afternoon. It was going to be a long day...
Gino stood on the front steps looking out into the near empty street. No bustling, busy people. No shops open yet. Just himself and the crisp morning air. A breeze carried the frosty sea water to his face and he shuddered. How fitting, a miserable day for a miserable action he would make. Gino walked to the port and sighed as he boarded the ferry. It was to be a very hard decision to stick with, but he would have to break all ties with Sugar for good. And perhaps it was for the best... Perhaps... But likely not. He made his way around Bass'ken lake, Old Man Logan already starting on his second bucket of fish. Gino feigned a smile and half waved at the cheery old man who may just be out of his mind.
Finally he made it to Barton Town... The trip seemed like it took an eternity. He was at Sugar's door, but what would he say? 'Sorry, I can't explain but I can never see you again...' didn't seem like the best choice... Of course it was an okay back up if he needed it. He looked up at the sky, clouds forming up ahead of him and moving fast into Barton. It seemed the weather was on his father's side. He sat down on her doorstep, unable to knock quite yet. He looked at the sky and the incoming clouds and he sighed. "Mom... Where are you when I need you most? Why can't you be here? Why couldn't you just stay?" Gino let out a sigh and buried his face in his knees as the rain began to pour down on the small town.
"I'm sure she had a good reason for leaving..." Said a kind voice from before him. Gino looked up to see Zetan standing there smiling warmly at him, and holding out his umbrella to shelter Gino from the rain.
Gino forced a smile back at Zetan and stood. "I-is she home? I really, really need to talk to her... It's about my father..."
Zetan smiled and slapped Gino on the back. "I heard the dinner went well, I'm glad for you. All she did was talk about it... How wonderful your father is and how much he liked her. She wouldn't shut up! Of course she's rarely quiet... But hey! I'm glad you guys had such a wonderful time..." Zetan grinned happily at Gino but his cheery disposition was not returned.
"T-that's just it... My father i-isn't really fond of Sugar... He doesn't really like her... And he doesn't want me to ever see her again..." Gino looked down, fighting back tears. He was so angry at himself and his father, but he was more upset than anything... He hoped Zetan would understand.
"Ahh man... That's not good. I'm sorry to hear that... But hey, that doesn't mean you're gonna stop seeing her, right? So there's no reason to be depressed... I mean, he can't really stop you from seeing her..." Zetan smiled at Gino and patted his back hopefully.
"Actually... He can. That's what I'm worried about. I know I may never get to see Sugar again after today. My father is the most powerful man in all of Gaia. If he wanted to make her disappear, he could and nobody would question him. I don't want that... No... This is the way it has to be. I'll just tell her and then..." Gino sighed and tugged at his hair. "It will hurt her so much... Erg! Why!? Why does he have to be this way!? Why can't he just be a good person?" Gino looked up at Zetan who still had a soft smile on his face. "You think she'll understand?"
Zetan nodded and looked up at the sky. "I know she will. Sugar is a very understanding person. She may be mad about it, at first... Which she often is about these things... But she'll understand. And with time... Maybe you two can see each other again." Zetan shrugged and smiled. "You never know..." He looked at his watch and then at Gino. "Come on, it's five thirty... Why don't you come to an early breakfast with Sugar and I... And then I'll take you home..."
Gino looked up at Zetan, who easily towered over him, and smiled half heartedly. "Breakfast sounds great..."

Hush you... stare *enjoyed your portrayal of Zetan much more in that one* Still small bits I would have changed, given the chance, but it is only fanfiction, and it is yours. So I won't complain about minor stuff in dialogue and such. Overall, quite enjoyable.

Oh, no, that's not what I was refering to at all... that part of it was the good part. What I meant that I'd change are truely little things... like the phrase, "Ahh man..." for instance. Just not something I picture him saying. But, again, it's no biggie at all... it's your fanfic, and therefore your own interpretation of the character. Your version of Zetan can say and act however you want him to.

Your version of Zetan can say and act however you want him to. Well the way I spelled Ahh, I was hoping would change the way people 'heard it.' I didn't mean it like... "AWW MAN!" I meant it kinda more like an "Oh man..." You know, when you get really bad news... Like your cousin's dog died... You'd feel bad for him/her... And might say... "Ahh man... That's the breaks..." Kinda a more subtle little comment rather than a five year old angry cause they can't go visit grandma...
