I walked towards one of the torches and shed the luggage i was carrying underneath it. Now was the time to get some training done. Whether he liked it or not this training would increase both our Reiatsu's and increase my control through revision.
"Here," I said and tossed over a chocolate bar. I took one for myself and unwrapped it, "Once we've finished eating, we'll begin." I said and quietly ate my Chocolate bar. Once i was finished I dug through my rucksack for a book. I flicked through it for a moment. It was a book on Reiatsu control, and i just wanted to make sure i had everything ready. I put it back and started through my excercises.
I started from basic, as if i didn't know Reiatsu control, from the point when i could hardly even recognize my own Reiatsu. Now it was just apart of me, i knew it, and it knew me. I started building up the Reiatsu slowly freeing my mind of constraints and chains, that came in the form of memories and thoughts.

"Thanks," I said catching the chocolate. Why was he giving me food now...hm. I pondered it for a moment as i slipped the last piece between my lips and chewed. Chocolate was nice, and just generally it made you feel better, so no problem with it then. I looked up at him.
"Begin?" So he was serious about the training then. This was gonna get interesting. I stood ready and waiting. Then i noticed my Reiatsu building back up gradually as it consumed the chocolate energy.

"Yes, begin," I repeated. Then i looked at him firmly. My Reiatsu calmed immediately and shrank back inside.
"Your Reiatsu," I asked, "How do you view it." I thought about how i had earlier thought of my Reiatsu and smiled inwardly. I had no idea whether he was better or worse than me, and i suspected he had the potential of the former at least. Then again, how would i know until i tested his abilities.
I began planning out future sessions in my head. Working them out. Wondering how to complete them. I was going to train him good, perhaps even enough to battle a level 3 Hollow.

"As my power supply what else?" I replied off handedly. Why did he ask that question anyway.

"I...see," I said looking at him. I pointed to a torch on the otherside of the tunnel.
"Perform Byakurai," I commanded. I was going to teach him, that this wasn't the way to view your Reiatsu, though he probably didn't even understand the concept of it. I waited for him to carry out the command.
He seemed to be an impaitent student, something i would have to change. Although he probably wouldn't like my methods.

"Eh...but..." I shook my head. It was useless. I was going to have to show him i couldn't do it, but that didn't mean i wasn't going to try my best.
I raised my finger towards the target that I had chosen. I brick, just an ordinary brick on the otherside of the tunnel. I focused my Reiatsu forcing it down my arm.
"Hadou #4 Byakurai!" I shouted there was a flash at the tip of my finger and then...nothing. It had failed again, not that i hadn't expected that.

"Your Reiatsu may be strong Kenji-san, but if you cannot control it, it is useless. First, it allows you control over two primary elements of yourself. Namely Kidou techniques," I walked and stood next to him. I didn't look at him, but rather at the target he had selected.
"Your Reiatsu is not a power supply nor a source, you are the source, and thus your Reiatsu comes from yourself. In order to manipulate and control your Reiatsu you must be able to control yourself," I said firmly. Then raised my finger to the target.
"Byakurai," I said skipping the spell. A sudden ray of lightning shot out from my finger and tore apart the brick i had pointed my finger to. I stopped by closing my hand. I walked back towards the torch without giving him another look.
"We won't focus on controlling it just yet, first you are going to have to get to grips with what your Reiatsu is." I turned to face him, "Come over here."

"H-hai," I said. How the hell did he just do that so effectively. I stared in awe at the brick for a short moment. It was dust. I walked over to him. If he could do that, so early, then no wonder he had left the class, he was...above me.
I listened to what he was saying and stood near him. I wondered what he could teach me now.

"You can do this sitting down or standing up...that's your choice." I said, "Imagine yourself as a mass of darkness and imagine a structure running through your body, in every part of you. Imagine it being touchable, and changeable by your will power. It should be translucent if not transparent, with the faintist of glows of your own personal colour," I sat myself against the wall and began doing what i had just told him to do.
"Once you have emptied your mind of all thoughts and you see a colour in front of you, that is your true colour, but you must have emptied your mind completely." I said and already I was building up that malleble structure. I wondered what his colour might actually be, was he strong, was he weak, quick, slow...your Reiatsu would say everything about you if you didn't control it.

"Huh.." I wondered what this exercise was about, why was it so strange. I frowned slightly but began nevertheless the process of clearing my mind, only the structure running through my body keeping it stable.
I carried on and tried to manipulate that structure, which wasn't as hard as i thought it might be, it just needed a little will power. I started to battle through the thoughts, aiming to get rid of them all, but by no means was this an easy feat. Damn it was tricky.
Every time i thought i had gotten rid of a thought, another one would crop up, and once or twice spoiled my focus so i had to begin the whole thing all over again...and again, and again. I frowned once or twice as i emptied my thoughts but slowly they began to dissipate into nothingness.
I knew that time passed, but due to the silence, and not being aware of day light or anything, i didn't know how much time had actually passed. Dammit, if only i knew...but that spoiled my focus again and I growled quietly as i began to build the structure once more.

I let opened my eyes, greated by the sight of my black Reiatsu. It wasn't altogether black though, just a very dark blue. It wasn't that i was over powering it either, it was just there as it was.
I let my Reiatsu wrap me in a cocoon letting it flow within me. I glanced over to Kenji. He had begun the process, but his control was even worse than mine at my stage, parts of his Reiatsu burned up and different points, and then died down again, before flickering up somewhere else.
I didn't know the cause of these disturbances, because i wasn't a Reiatsu master, nor was I was master of anything really. His Reiatsu disappeared frequently, and by the look of his face he was becoming quite annoyed by it.
I started to do some of my basic exercises while i was waiting, which onsisted of moving my Reiatsu around my body, although there was Reiatsu in every part of my body, i could pull and stretch the majority to otherparts of my body which was quite interesting, and it was often only the majority I was working with.
I began on seperating my Reiatsu and starting on the more moderate tasks with controlling my Reiatsu.

I continued meditating...getting rid of all those thoughts. It was hard, but i was gradually getting the numbers down by slowing my breathing, and focusing on one thing. Then i just stopped thinking all together...and time seemed to stop for me.
It was like i didn't exist, there was pure nothingness...no not exactly true...everything was gone, there was no stars, no darkness, no time, no destiny...just...gone. The only thing that was there...was my Reiatsu. In the void that i had created within myself.
It was small and out of control, but my existence was there. Within myself, as a small mass of glowing blue substance. I couldn't actually tell what it was at first...but then...it started to move. It expanded and increased in size continuing to grow. It started to develop into a form, a five pointed star...then everything expanded again, until four points of the star had joints.
I figure out what it was, it was turning into a humanoid form it was incredible. Then it increased in size again, and although volatile. Then it changed again, and instead of being blue it paled out and changed to a form of rich yellow, almost an orange colour.
Opening my eyes i was shocked with what i saw...the burning of my Reiatsu...in the same colour it was in my thoughtless dimension.
"Wow," I said quietly. Figuring out what it was, but then it went again. I frowned.

I looked up and finished my exercise abruptly.
"That is your Reiatsu," I said quietly, "Return to your room and practice it until you can invoke it at will." I started to return back to my exercises, "You're dismissed for today." I ended.

"Hai," I said and stood up. That Reiatsu was fascinating, i would have to practice it way more than i was doing now.
"Um, i'll leave everything with you then," I said and started up the ladders. I didn't know what he wanted the books for and since we hadn't used them i was even more confused.
I climbed out into the academy. What the hell. It was dark outside. I headed for the dormitories.

'Now then' I thought, 'On to the books...'
I picked up a book from beside me and lo and behold, it was by Shu Hyate. Reiatsu control.
I started reading through it since it was actually informitive on different tasks to control my Reiatsu. There weren't really alot of ways to increase your Reiatsu other than to keep pushing your body to the limits, both body and mind that is and then making them go even further.
I carried on looking through the book taking each page as it came. I started taking mental notes of what it actually said and after a minute I put it back down, and revised what i had just learned then i would do the next bit, then revise it all, then i'd read the next bit, revise it, and then read it all again before revising it all. It was actually not a boring book to read as it was all written in story style which was good and thus interesting.
