Sir Langley White Skyz You already read my Next Season Thread... I think I don't I need to repeat my news.... By the way.... I heard the game is based on the Manga... Not sure about it though.... sweatdrop If the game is based on the manga, then there is no hope. I agreed.... The Anime is way better than the Manga....

I'm not sure, I thin it;s the series. How different can the manga and the series be from each other? I know for a fact the ending will b different. I do know the character designs are the same as the manga...

My final thoughts on the ending...
I enjoyed the ending. I probably would have been unhappy if they had ended it any other way, I just wish there would have simply been more to it. I mean, the show had a crapload of character development and hardly any of it was evident, just because the epilogue was like less than half an episode. That was my only gripe with the ending in particular.

You quest list...it's impossible....You want like every single item on gaia......Good luck... I was wondering why I'm facing the wrong way myself... and as for the quest, thanks. I like to set my sights high. xd But, I want to focus on getting the little bit of stuff I still need to recover since I was hacked. Just a few more items... As for the ending, just downloaded the SS version, and I plan to watch it tonight. Since I hear their translation was better, maybe I'll get even more out of it this time around.

I was throughly unimpressed with the ending, though I should have seen it coming from a ways away, the show is a romance first, and I should have known that they wouldn't let such a wildly popular production end on such a miserable note. Not that I wasn't happy with it, it was just so sudden, rushed and very reminiscent of, 'oh look, a problem! power of love, go destroy! yay win!' rather than the long drawn out drama that we had been experiencing throught the rest of the series.
Then again, the joy's in getting to the ending. I can only hope that the team learns from this experience to make their following series better.

what i think of the ending, uh...
i wish Mai fought more. I'm not doing s**t but i win!
i also wished that there was a much bigger fight at the end. to me it was like " ah crap, we ran out of time so lets mush some things togethor and cut some stuff." there really should have been another episode to make the the ending more fleshed out and not as random. i don't mind that everyone came back, as long as there was more to it.
reito should have at least died, leaving Mai to have another meaningfull conversation with tate. meanwhile Shiho would shut up, be quiet and get a hair cut.
this might be just me, but Kikoto reminds me of kid Goku from dragon ball, not the others though.

Bleh, I stll stand firm on the ending being way too cliche in terms of how the story was winding down to. I mean, if I thought for a minute that the whole ressurection ending was going to happen, then the ending wouldn't be so bad, but it wouldn't be nearly the greatest either. It would just be another meh ending.
But, it turned everything around, and not in the good way. I think we all knew from the get go (eps 21-25) that episode 26 was going to fly by, since they just had to resolve every single loose thread in the show.
Wow Mikoto does look like she's from DBZ. The whole plant the sword in the ground and nuking the place seems to add to that style too :O

If they wanted to turn people into Jesus, they should have just done it holy spirit style. The HiME's could have gotten their powers back temporarily for a final badass fight/goodbye type thing. Then their MVPz can return to rest and a very imporant and powerful lesson would have been learned. APPRECIATE WHAT YOU HAVE WHEN YOU HAVE IT because you never know when it won't be there. They'd have to live with that for the rest of their lives and they'd have memories of all the GOOD things they went through with those people. biggrin (And I just realized that Kuga and Shizuru would have been the only HiME's who died... : )YES! ANOTHER WHO AGREES WITH ME!!!!
