{Computer} {Yes, please.} ^^;
I have it on PC and my laptop, I actually prefer the gameplay on my laptop. The compact keyboard setting is really handy since all your controls are just right there. I ended up setting my PC to compact keyboard setting too. whee
I've yet to play it on ps2, but I've been on PC so long I don't want to change over really.

i play ffxi on PC o.o; i feel that playing on PS2 puts you at a disadvantage (SPELLING? >.

Simply put, you can use a Mouse and keyboard for the PS2 too, it's the same game play (although a lot more difficult if you just have a controller) But buying everything for PS2 is a little more expensive.
i think its because u took the hard drive out of ur friends ps2, thus damaging the data, so i think u have to format and reinstall everything, you dont need the disk for th network adepter if you have all the cds for ffxi

I like playing it on my PC, although I have never played it on PS@, therefore I wouldn't really be able to compare it and know which was better in my opnion ^^.

I have the PS2 version (with a keyboard to talk to other players xd ) and I think it's much easier to do everything. The controller is so compact that you don't have to worry about pressing the wrong key or anything. Also I like having absolutely no lag. ^^

I use PS2, updates faster, etc. due to the fact it only does the game
the downside is...no screenshots and darn I miss them

You can take screenshots with PS2, you just need to send them to yourself and find a place to host them. Photobucket works pretty good.

Yes I have a PS2 and it is what I use to play the game on.The only real problem with the game is that you have to pay cash to play it and it is only an online game.It would be good if

1)you didn't have to pay for playing it and
2)There was a single player quest as well that you could hook up with online players to play and level up in

1. if you didnt pay then the game will not be as fun... the game will be down every other day do too bugs and stuff
2. ever since i started playing online game... offline games just seem lonely to me...

1)I guess you do have a point there I mean to make an example I have heard of games like runescape where you don't have to donate and it has crappy graphics along with glitching every minute or so and it sucks completely especially the battle system

2)I know but I said like main story quest with other online players so the other characters who are online would play with you which I think would be fun because that would make it so that there would be a final boss you could beat which would give you things like bragging rights

what's really nifty is that the other day I got a totally generic cheap computer keyboard for $12, it's a USB keyboard so it plugs into PS2, no problems, no installation. Unless you want a mini-keyboard or one with PS2 controls on it, don't bother with official keyboards for hte system, just get a USB one for computers for cheap.
But then, I like the keyboard setup because I learned on PC how to play it (a friend of mine has it on his computer) and find it much less confusing to type and do my Macros on it (I've tried the PS2 controller, it just doesn't cut it for me).
