Hey-just wanted to say that I support Bush...you'll have pretty much already given all of the reasons why I support him so I won't list all of them (I hate repeating threads with the same info on each post).

On Sept 11th I'm going to spend a good amount of prayer on it and then go rock climbing! Woot!

If they'd had the media in WWII like they did now....we'd have probably had a very hard time going to war. THe actual carnage is something you don't can't feel from textbooks. If we'd never gone to war, who's to say how many of us would have either

A. replaced the bible with mein kamph (please excuse the horrible spelling) and changed our religion, looks, and deformities or

B. gotten killed

Scary thoughts.....sometimes don't you wonder if we'd be better off if the terroists hit the major media buildings next? Heh, jk.

Kerry scares me. eek Can't he make up his mind about anything? But I guess a lot of people hate Bush.

My discussion with my friend went as follows:

Friend: I wish I can vote.
Me: I'm glad you can't.
Friend: Why?
Me: You'd vote for Kerry.
Friend: Duh.
Me: Why?
Friend: He's not Bush.
Me: Do you know anything about Kerry other than 'He's not Bush.'
Friend: No.
Me: So you have no idea that he voted to go to war, yet voted not to spend money on equipment for our troops in Iraq?
Friend: Didn't know that. But he's not Bush.
Me: Good, then, if you have your way, we'll all be wondering what's going on with our president because he changes his mind every five seconds and we'll all be dead and so will our people in Iraq, but at least you can rest assured that your president does not choke on pretzels.
Friend: Hey, I liked him a lot until the pretzel incident.

No lie. It's scary. Pretzel Politics. There should be a party. The Pretzel Party. Their slogan can be, "Vote Nader of the Pretzel Party. Nader...so you can be sure your president does not choke on pretzels."

Aren't glomps positive? confused

Not of course that you shouldn't be positive towards Kerry supporters... Just not the fact that they're Kerry supporters. xp

Man... My co-worker and a customer were making fun of the way I drink yesterday. They said I open my mouth way before I put the drink in. It was kinda weird.

I had no idea about the pretzel incident. I don't really care that much, because I love Bush. But still.

Uh....I wore all black that day and yelled a lot at someone who said americans should get over 911. I kinda...sorta ranted. Hmm. He should say that to the girl whose last words to her mother were "I hate you" because her mom had grounded her before getting killed that day, to all the people who lost people. My people were freaking attacked and killed and I'm not allowed to mourn for them? jeez. Made me mad.

Someone said that? You gotta admit, that's guts. Stupid guts, but guts.

I really hate the anti-american sentiments that seem to come from all around. Personally, I think it's because they see our freedoms that they don't have and they don't like it. But that's just my personal opinion. sweatdrop But worst of all is Michael Moore; A supposed American who acts decidedly anti-American.

I am almost embarrased to say I didn't really do anything special on 9/11. I almost missed the fact that it was there at all because I don't pay much attention to the date. sweatdrop

I felt like, patriotism turned into jumping on the bandwagon after 911, and then you got off as soon as tides turned. Other countries hate america, well, guess it's time we hate it too....

Good thing I never went in for popularity.

I love my country. I'd rather live here than anywhere, and I feel like people hate us because they want to be us. We can't raise and lower our flag sad so we keep it in a window, not outside. We just can't do it anymore. I got annoyed with people though. Popularity Patriotism. bleck. My friend got me started on being annoyed, I can blame him. Ehrm...just a tip to anyone who values his or her lives? Never call a guy in BDUs Osama Bin Laden. You won't be happy. Trust me.
