(Tee hee hee.) Lol, what part would that be? Dunno. And (according to what I've heard) it's hard to translate The Shining the book to The Shining the movie, because it's nothing like the book. (That was just hearsay. I've never seen either of the movies.) And Dad recently bought me The Stand as a movie. TWO VIDEOS! *whistles* And, with the exeption of Harold Lauder, I think they did pretty good with all the characters. But the one thing that bugged me was that in the movie, Rita wasn't there, and Lucy, not Nadine was traveling with Joe.

the langoliers and the tommyknockers
those were weird i haven't read tommyknockers yet but langoliers was so close to the book i nearly danced but man are old movies weird.

GeekySteve my favorite would have to be rose red least favorite dream catcher:could they have gotten it more wrong weirdest/oldest the langoliers and the tommyknockers those were weird i haven't read tommyknockers yet but langoliers was so close to the book i nearly danced but man are old movies weird. I want to see the Langoliers, I really enjoyed that novella. My husband says he remembers seeing it on t.v. a long time ago and that he thought it was pretty good and "interesting" Does any one know if it was a t.v. movie or released in theaters?

Let's see, I liked Rose Red, and I liked Secret Window(Although I didnt know it was King when I watched... please don't kill me...) Whoo! Movies!

You would be surprised how many movies are Stephen King movies. Like Blade Runner.
On Langoliers... I saw it before I even was a big Stephen King fan. All I can say is the first half was really good and interesting... then it somehow just turned sucky.

Istari_Knight You would be surprised how many movies are Stephen King movies. Like Blade Runner. On Langoliers... I saw it before I even was a big Stephen King fan. All I can say is the first half was really good and interesting... then it somehow just turned sucky. Why is it that the Stephen King movies I really want to see are the ones they mess up? The SK movies I have liked the most (like Shawshank Redemtion) are the ones I didn't know had anything to do with Stephen King when I first saw them.

I saw "Secret Window" and almost cried. The ending is totally different from the book.
And when Dad went to see "Christine" in theaters, he thought about parking a Plymouth Fury outside. That would've been cool, except the red-and-white paint (Christine's colors) were custom.

TV movie i had it recorded form a long time ago but i think we recorded over it. the special affects were awful but it was really close to the story line

The Crimson King I saw "Secret Window" and almost cried. The ending is totally different from the book. Well, I actually HAD the book out and was going to read it. But I fell asleep on my bed and had a really bizzare dream. My friend disappeared, and I thought he was dead, and when I woke up, IT went riiight back on the shelf. (Although, I'm being tempted to give IT another chance.)

The Stand (because I'm slightly biased), The Shining, Misery... hmm.. probably add Pet Semetary in there too.
What about Kingdom Hospital? I haven't seen any mention of that anywhere (I know it's not a movie.. heh).
