Sorry all, work has been busy once more, Gaia has to come second. sad
I wasn't able to post a photo I considered worthy of the topic, where the true subject was water and not some other element, used as the cataylist, but taking the focus instead.
So looks like I still get to vote. smile

Alright, my vote got to WinterBear, and heres why.
Off all the photos, with the possible exception of dhavatar, the photos all includes excess material, fighting for competition on the main subject, the water. By the exclusion of the majorty of the foreground subject matter through use of repetition with the leaves, the viewer is left with but one item that does not play itself into a pattern. The Water. By its very nature, what is chaotic, even if momentarily static. Whether its a great billowing ocean, or the water from a faucet, water is in of itself an action subject in our minds. (Except when used for a calming effect, though even the subconcious recognizes it as a merely waiting action).
The second closest in my view was Dhavatar, due to his capturing this nature of water. However, the use of his cataylist forced the eye down (Always remember, when the highlights override a photo primarly, the eyes is drawn to the darks instead.) to the coin, stopping interest in the water and toward the coin, the newer and more dynamic subject of action.
But then again, this is all just my opinion. Remember people, Selective Focus, never be afraid of a closeup! smile

Hmm, maybe I should've submitted the alternate version then. sweatdrop I had a water splash that was frozen by the flash and looked like glass, though you couldn't see the coin. I'll post that one up later after the votings are done.
Definitely some good opinions there though. biggrin
