When I watch people do them I get scared for some odd reason, they are just something I could never do.

i just ran a PR of 16.29 in the 100 hurdles!

Well im back guys!
had my state meet yesterday and the day before
I ran in the 300m Hurdles at the AAA Virginia State Championship
i finished 18th out of 27
I was the #1 finishing Sophmore in a PR and School Record Time of 41.10
Also at my district meet i was able to finish in a time of 16.41 a PR in the 110 Hurdles which was able to get me to Regionals in which i fell because someone else hit my hurdle as i was going over it and i tripped on the already falling hurdle... i got up and found a second of my hurdles already down.
how the hell he was hitting my hurdles? i have no idea
so ya... those are my two new Hurdle Pr's.
And! from june 15th to the 18th im going to be in Flordia for a Track Camp on hurdles at the Flordia State University.
Olympian Ken Harnden will be there as well! WOOHOO!! I can't wait but im really sad that the season is over now sad

Wow its been a long time since I've been to this guild and posted! haha
Well since my last post a lot has happened in my hurdle career.
My Junior Year (Last Year) I ran at our Regional Meet for the 300m Hurdles and finally broke the 40 second barrier running a 39.9! Yay smile
Unfortunatly I got the flu the day of the State meet and was unable to compete. But According to my PR I would have finished 4th overall at the State Meet here in Virginia.
I also practiced the 400m Hurdles and ran a 65 second 400m Hurdle during a workout! so I was impressed with that. I'm guessing I could have gone 55 during a race.
Right now I'm going through my senior year and I've PR'd in the 55m Hurdles. I've dropped my time down to 8.08 which I ran 2 weeks ago at a meet up in Connecticut. I plan to go sub 8 at Regionals and States. Hopefully Place top 10 at states smile
My Form is really coming together especailly the begining of hte race, getting out of hte blocks hard and fast and over that first and second hurdle as quickly as possible.
Ill try and keep this a bit more updated. smile hehe
