A genuine smile came to her lips as she delighted to hear a familiar accent from someone else. After a firm, simple one shake hand shake, she would lift her hand to lightly place a kiss on the back before finally releasing it. It was all in perfect politeness, nothing that would step over the line and be misinterpreted as making a pass at her.
"Yes, actually," she would reply casually. It would be impossible to pass up notice of her name, but it was nothing to focus on at the moment. "I happen to be a member of the fencing club..." There would be a small smile and a nod to indicate the sword that she held. "And it appears that you are as well, or at least going to be soon...?"

The girl smiled, thankful for the polite gesture of the older girl, noticing her lips were very soft. It was also good to know she had been correct in her assumption that the girl was a sword fighter. "Yes actually, I joined as soon as I was accepted to the school. I'm also a member of the kendo club." she said quietly, not out of embarrassment but simply due to their relative closeness. The green haired girl carefully raised a hand and used her thumb to wipe away a small smudge on Chigusa's cheek. "I would love to have a friendly match against you sometime, if you would not mind that is."

Beatrix leaned back into her chair and glanced over at the clock that hung above the blackboard. She idly tapped her pencil against her desk as she watched the minutes tick by. "Miss Beatrix Grey!" a rather annoying voice of a woman boomed and Beatrix jumped, "Perhaps you would like to come back to earth and grace us with your presence? Hmm?" Beatrix sighed, "Ah, yes miss..." she retorted lamely and the teacher went on with her lesson. There were only a five minutes left until she was dismissed, but the minutes just seemed like hours as they slowly ticked by. Beatrix lay her head down on her desk and propped her chin upon her crossed arms. She glanced out the window and noticed that many students had already been dismissed and were roaming around outside. "If y=2x+200 and 3x-y=0 what is the solution to the system? ...Anyone?" the teacher rambled on and when she noticed that Beatrix was once again not paying attention, she called upon her.

"The x is equal to 200 and the y value is 600." Beatrix mumbled as she lifted her head off the desk and glanced at her teacher. "We have exactly two minutes of class left, do you think you could dismiss us a little early today? The other classes have already been let out..." The teacher was speechless and just stood there stammering "I..I.. I guess so..." And with those words the entire class got up in a heave and stampeded out of the classroom door. Beatrix uncrossed her slender legs and rose from her desk slowly. She put her text book away in her backpack and swung it over her shoulder. She double checked to make sure her uniform skirt was even in order to avoid any embarassing situations, then picked up her fencing equipment and held the bag with her left hand. On her way out she turned to her teacher and bowed, "See you tomorrow, miss." and left the classroom.

As she walked down the hallway she tried to shake off the mind-numbing feeling of the class before. Beatrix wanted to stop by the fencing hall to dump off her equipment so she didn't have to lug it around between classes. She knew a short cut and pushed open the doors to the main office building and jogged through the corridor. As she turned the corner she came to a screeching halt when she saw Chigusa. She hardly even noticed the other girl there and felt the butterflies in her stomach start to pick up. Beatrix slowly inched back, "On second thought, I'll just take the long way" she murmured and slowly turned to leave.

Chigusa was undeniably a bit startled at such a familiar gesture, but was quick to cover it up with a small smile and a nod of her head. "I would be most pleased to oblige, Miss Kyoichi..." Glancing up, she spotted a familiar figure and was unable to deny herself the pleasure a small and slightly wicked grin when she noticed the Order's secretary turning tail to head away in the opposite direction. But, she wouldn't let her get away that easily. It amused her a bit to note how the girl acted around her and would often take advantage of that for her own amusement... but she never stepped over the line into being cruel. Light teasing was it, especially since she made it so easy...
"Grey!" She called out to the girl by her last name over the hum of conversation amongst the other students. At the very least, she could at least introduce the two girls since all three of them were to be in the fencing club together.

Pushing back her bright pink locks of hair back and away from her face, Utena Tenjou strode down the academy's hallway and made her way for the door that led to the outside and into the gardens. Her layered tresses fell back into their usual array that framed her face so well, pushing open the door with one hand, Utena paused as she found herself outside and standing on a few steps to look at the garden that the school had so neatly kept. Not one for really admiring roses, and more likely to be found in a basketball court, Utena was just hoping to find a few minutes of down time before heading off to some other class or another part of academy's activities, and to be away from the noise and other students. In truth, she had been feeling that sort sinking melancholy, which every now and then drift up and on her. Heading down the few steps and over to a bench away from the other groups of students, Utena sat with her back to the school looking over a small patch of roses. Though it was a warm and bright day at the academy, Utena took her few moments to look at the ring that had been given to her from so many years before. She remembered that day so well. The day where she had been grieving over her parents' deaths and the way the prince had kissed her tears away. It was he who gave her the strength to go on with her life, and the one who had given her hope that one day that they'd meet again. Shaking her head slightly, her hair fluttering about her lightly, she gave a small smile. This wasn't like her at all, and it shouldn't be this way. Deciding that maybe she should go challenge a couple of younger classman to a few rounds of some sort of sport, the eighth grader stood and took a moment to straighten her uniform top, which happened to be a male's black top, then began to make her way back to the school's entrance.

Idly tracing a delicate finger over ivory colored keys. Kozue Kaoru could be found in the now deserted music room, sitting at the bench of the grand piano that stood off to the side of the room. Tender distant memories of her brother and her own experiences came flooding back into her mind. Letting out a soft sigh, Kozue the blue haired thirteen year old, stood and walked to the door. "Time to go greet my boys." She said softly with a smirk on her lovely pink lips. Pulling the door open and stepping out into the now busy hallway. Taking a moment to look down both ends of the hallway, hoping to catch a glance of some familiar face that she knew, she shrugged slightly to herself and began down one of the long corridors. Waving to a few who had called to her, and flirtatiously winking at others, Kozue pondered over where she could go for the moment since she didn't really want to be caught up in class. Her deep turquoise eyes looked over the hordes of students that gathered here and there. She knew what was probably being whispered about her at that exact moment. Probably something around, "Oh, Kozue's on the hunt again." Or, "Look! It's the 'Serial Dater'!" Or something around those sorts. It was true, Kozue certainly did have a history with the males of the academy, but that never has really fazed the young girl while she walked the halls, daring anyone to try and create some sort of conflict.

Beatrix froze in place and she felt her cheeks flare up. She couldn't help the feeling of overwhelming embarrassment every time Chigusa called out to her. Beatrix's breathing quickened and her shoulders heaved heavily. She closed her eyes and exhaled, desperately trying to calm her nerves down. When she felt the heat lift from her cheeks she turned around and forced out a nervous smile. She swallowed the lump in the back of her throat and walked over to Chigusa and the girl she was standing with. "Ah... g-good day, Chigusa..." she stuttered nervously and was still slightly flushed. She tried to avoid direct eye contact with Chigusa in order to prevent further embarrassment. She turned towards Rina and bowed politely, "I dont believe I've seen you around campus before. Allow me to introduce myself, I am Beatrix Grey." She glanced over the younger girl taking in her features and noticed she looked similar to the Student Council vice president, but quickly dismissed any thoughts of them being related. She also noticed the sword Rina carried with her "Ah, a fencer? Looks like all three of us share something in common then." Beatrix smiled and felt her confidence slowly redeeming itself.

The delicate looking girl smiled, extending her hand to Beatrix. "It is nice to meet you Miss Beatrix. My name is Rina Kyoichi. And it does seem that we are all fond of fencing." Her voice was still soft, almost a lilting sound. Whenever she shook hands with someone it told her so much about them, and if Beatrix would shake her hand it would tell her much about the sort of sword style that she often used. She seemed to be a bit nervous though.

Beatrix quirked a brow 'Kyoichi'? she though. How odd, not only did she look an awful lot like the VP for the student council, but she had the same last name too. Beatrix shook it off as a freaky coincidence, there was no way someone this polite and cute could be Saionji's little sister. After a moment of pause Beatrix broke from thought and extended her hand, "It's always nice to meet people with similar interests, Rina." She said as she took Rina's hand in hers and shook firmly. "Perhaps one day I'll have the pleasure of sparring against you?" She grined, "If you're ever up for the challenge, that is."

The young girl seemed pleased, a pretty smile on her face. "It is always nice isn't it?" Her hand slipped out of the other girl's and she bowed, deep green hair falling into her dark purple eyes. Once straightened back up it seemed to curl around her face again. "Miss Beatrix, I would love to have a friendly match with you someday, you seem very experienced and I would hope you wouldn't hold back." Her head had tilted slightly and her eyes closed as she spoke, giving her a rather adorable look.

Miki had just finished his practice drills and set his foil down on the floor of the deserted fencing hall. He reached over for his bottle of water, twisted off the cap and took a sip. After placing the bottle down on the table he glanced over at the clock and watched the time tick by slowly. The student who had promised to swing by after class for some fencing tips had never showed up and Miki had been waiting for the past 20 minutes. He didn't really mind since he took the time to practice on his own. He pulled his arm across his chest and held it there in a stretch, "I guess I should really practice more..." He switched arms, "I'm starting to feel it in my muscles." He bent his left leg at the knee and grabbed his ankle with his left hand, stretching his quad leg muscle. He wondered what plans the student council had and decided that after he finished stretching he'd set off to find Touga. He didn't know where to look but Miki knew he just needed to follow the flock of girls to find the president. He switched his leg and occasionally glanced over at the doorway to see if the student would show up, but he figured they wouldn't. Suddenly, Miki started to lose his balance and hopped around trying to recover it. He let go of his leg and regained his footing, he blushed lightly and ran his fingers through his neat blue hair. "Lucky no one saw that..." he murmured and picked up his foil. "I think thats enough practice for one day..."

The fencing team captain sauntered down the hallways of Ohtori academy. Her sophisticated and aloof demeanor were present in each step she took. She ran her fingers through her locks of orange hair as she peered down the hallway with her sharp green eyes. "Where the hell is he..." she murmured to herself and sharply turned down yet another corridor. The hallway was crowded with noisy freshmen who were hanging around their lockers, but as Juri walked by everyone started to quite down and faint whispering could be heard. Juri ignored it, she was used to it by now. Even the freshmen knew who she was, she was a dead give away with her orange hair and signature student council uniform. People moved out of Juri's way and whether they had a look of pure fear or admiration on their face, it didn't matter to her. She continued down the hallway and followed its twisting path and sharp turns until the fencing hall came into sights.

As she heard the squeaking of shoes against a hardwood floor, Juri leaned against the entrance of the Fencing Hall - just in time to watch Miki stumble around. She snickered, "I knew I'd find you here, Miki." She paused for a moment before pushing herself off the door archway and strolled up beside him, "I figured that if you weren't here I'd check the music room... but how come you're in fencing uniform? There's no practice today."

The majestic white painted rose entwined gates came into view as the taxi in which Shiori Takatsuki was comfortably seated in, came up the driveway. Shiori’s exquisite violet eyes shifted out and swept across the view of the exclusive Ohtori Academy. Her heart fluttered a beat or two at the prospect of being back here again, back among all things that were familiar to her.

However, she hoped that none of the students remember the awful incident of her much gossiped about break-up with a certain dashing fencing captain, Tsuchiya Ruka. Shiori hadn’t been able to face Juri or even the other students after that. She was at her weakest at that moment. In her heart, she had wanted so much to go up to Juri and apologize, to have Juri forgive her, to have Juri wrap her strong steadying arms around her own shuddering ones. She would’ve given anything for Juri to tell ‘It’s Ok,’ to wipe away the tears that were streaming down her cheeks.

But that was the past now. That was something that she had yearned for when she was still young and innocent.

She has got news that Tsuchiya-senpai had been missing in action for quite some time as well. That had been one of the deciding factors for her to transfer back to Ohtori. The most important one was to show Juri that she is now stronger, tougher and more superior than she used to be.

Pursing her lips in determination, Shiori got out of the car and grabbed both of her luggage while marching off to the main office to get her class, dorms and what-nots.

"Chu..." a stratchy, but soft animalistic voice called out. It's owner was a fairly odd sight to look at: A mouse, with oversized ears, the left one pierced. It was wearing a red and yellow tie, and his eyes were black, snowed with grey. In all good honesty, it looked like a small monkey than a mouse..but it looked like a mouse more than a monkey.. it was eating a bannana while sitting up top a black polished grand piano, watching a woman play a song. However, to save time, we'll call this small creature 'chu'

The woman Chu happened to be watching, was a young girl. She may have seemed older, just by her quiet nature, but infact, she's only fourteen. A poor student with low test scores and poor academic grades, and absolutely, no, friends, except for Chu of course.

Both of them sat alone in the dark piano room, the girl's slender fingers worked with a silent fever as it played a soft melody, pulled from the ivory keys of the paino. With perfect posture, she sat, her legs crossed at the ankles, and her head lowered. The room was dark, hardly any light showed through the borded windows or even the dusty cracks of the door way. Her emerald eyes were focused on her fingers, playing the soft, melody.

Her violet hair remained up and curled, and she wore her exagerated, coke bottle glasses at the bridge of her nose. Her full lips were turned into a frown. Dressed in the standard girl's uniform for Ohtori Acadamy, her school bag laid sprawled at her side, revealing a red note book with the appropriate Kanji, spelling " Himemiya" and the neighboring Hiragana that read "Anshii"

Locked away in this solitary room, Himemiya Anshii hid herself from the rest of the world. She burried herself in the music she played, ignoring every one and every thing around her, even her planed events for today, and chores perhaps...none of it mattered, untill of course, some one said it mattered.

"Chu." Chu said softly as he unpealed another Banana and ate it. In the very faint light, a pile of banana peals started to pile next to Anshii's note book, covering it up as if it meant nothing at all.

(the song she's playing btw, is Sunlit Garden. just thought you would all like to know.)

"Ah, miss Juri!" Miki was slightly startled and surprised, "I was just waiting for a junior fencer to arrive, they had asked me for some tips and said they'd be here after class." He looked up at the clock, "But... I guess he wont be showing up today." he said slightly disappointed and grabbed his fencing mask off the table, tucking it under his left arm. "Say, I was just about to go change and then go check up on Touga." Miki walked over to his bag of fencing gear, "I wanted to know if the council had any plans for a meeting anytime soon..." he bent over and unzipped his gear bag, placing his mask and foil inside. "I think it's a good time to review last meetings minutes, dont you?" Miki picked up his fencing bag and swung it over his shoulder, then he turned and walked over to Juri. "If you would like to to accompany me... but ah-! You came here looking for me, weren't you?" He bowed apologetically, "Was there something important you wanted to talk to me about?" Miki asked and stared up at his senior. People were always surprised by Miki's formal tone when he addressed Juri. Everyone on Ohtori campus knew how close the infamous "handsome duo" where, and had wondered why Miki still spoke to Juri so formally. Even though Miki and Juri were three years apart he still felt very close to her and has always felt equal terms. He knew it wasn't just because they were on the student council together because she was never this way towards Touga or Saionji or anyone else for that matter. He and Juri had developed a special bond through fencing and became very close friends, which was something extremely hard to do. Miki was so nice and popular, well liked by many on campus - while Juri was hard and cold, she scared even the teachers! They were quite the mix matched pair but made the best of friends. Though even still, there was a lot Miki didn't know about his captain. He learned to dismiss it and accept Juri for who she was, never trying to pry too deep into her personal life. He respected her on many levels, admired her skill, talent, beauty, strength and self confidence but he knew beneath it all Juri was troubled. Sometimes he wished he could be a better friend and reach out to her but he didn't think she was ready to open up yet. Even still, as long as he was friends with her, he would always treat her with utmost respect.

Alexander-Christian was kneeling in a small garden that lined a walkway headed to the main office with his shirtsleeves rolled up. Laying neatly folded nearby was his uniform jacket and his school bag. He had been headed to class when he had noticed that the bed needed tending to, which was why he had a small pile of light green weeds stacked neatly beside him.

As people walked past he looked up and smiled a greeting to them. The tall fencer made it a point to be polite and respectful to everyone, which was why he looked up to see a purple haired girl carrying her own bags as she walked toward the office. Dusting the dirt from his hands, Alexander-Christian stood as she drew nearer. For some reason she looked vaguely familiar, but he figured it was the haircut as one of the other students had something similar. Said student was one Himemiya Anshii and he had often run into her while tending the roses since she did the same occasionally.

"Good day, ma'am." He smiled politely, bowing his head slightly. "My name is Alexander-Chistian DuLac. Could I perhaps help you with those?"

The latter sentence was accompanied by a gesture at her bags as he stepped over the bed toward her. Not realizing that he had given his name in the Western fashion rather than the local fashion and that at almost six feet tall with a heavy accent he could seem a bit odd or intimidating, Alexander-Christian came to a stop a few feet from her.
