Rei_Rei Does no one but me know how he got the earring? O.o; In the manga, when he beats Shadow Link in Kakariko village, Impa puts the earrings on his ears, and tells him that it's a rite of passage for young Sheikah men. Even though he's not a Sheikah, she gives it to him anyways. >.>

As much as I would like to follow that theory, that idea wasn't created by Miyamoto, unless that was what Miyamoto intended for when link got the earring, but couldn't exactally fit it onto the cardrige.

i really dont like earrings on guys. its too feminine. This is all just MY opinion(so dont kill me). earrings are awesome on girls (unless they're huge). but link stiil rocks its kind of the same with tattoos (but they dont look good on anyone). although, i can understand completely if ( for link) its part of a cultural thing (like the Sheikah supposedly) so i guess my opinion doesnt really matter since most of the people think its cool sweatdrop

Actually, I don't like guys with earrings for the exact same reason. Too girly. But that mostly only goes for diamond stud type earrings I see some guys wearing. xp Link's little hoop is cool though, it doesn't bother me at all.

I happen to think it's very sexy x3 I usually only like one earring on guys though, two just makes it a bit too feminine D:

I noticed the earing, but I couldn't care less about it. It never affected my game play. I didn't just sit there, "Earing. Earing. Earing...." It was just there.
