Gathering her meager belongings and her horse Alita let the knights disembark first. For one she didn't want to get in their way and two she didn't want any of them who might possibly have ties to her father to recognize her. She had been keeping away from the other passengers most of the time trying to get a story straight if anyone asked her.

Blinking, Jack turned back from looking out to sea, to see who was addressing him. Shaking his head slightly, "No thank you, ma'am. But thanks for offering." Shifting his shoulders, he adjusted the tightly-wrapped bundle consisting of his weapons, armor, and a few other things. The rest of it was in saddlebags sitting next to his feet, as he waited for the Knights' horses to be unloaded.
From several feet away, Cilia watched as the two spoke, ears perked up. She had been careful not to put her back to the Knights, having heard a great deal on how they act towards what they considered "inferior races" before boarding the ship, and then spending three months with them... It was unpleasant. As she waited for her horse to be brought out, she sighed softly.

Maybe it was smart of the man not to want her help. Rana next approached someone who was farther apart from the rest. She had a horse, but maybe could use her help anyway. "Ma'am? Need help with your baggage?" she asked meekly.

Light peered inside the Cargo hold, waking and startling Vincent. He had to move quick, for fear the guards would catch him. He snuck out through a compartment in the ceiling of the hold, peering around, evading guards. Climbing up to the crow's nest, he took in the scenery; people all over unloading cargo, ships to the left, ships to the right. Looking down, he spotted some interesting people, such as a young lady talking to a rather older looking man. "Hmm," he thought sarcastically, "This looks like a pretty luxurious land." He made his escape rather loudly; halfway down the mast, he fell off, and onto a cage of chickens. Knowing he was now noticed, he ran and hid under the ramp from the ship to the dock. He stayed under the ramp on his guard for awhile, until after the footsteps above had passed.

Not expecting anyone to come near her she is somewhat startled, but regains her composure quickly. "Why thank you. You might be the only person who's on this boat and isn't cranky." I'm...Alita what's your name, if you don't mind me asking?"

Watching as the woman walked off, he saw motion out of the corner of his eye. Said motion drew his attention due to it's direction, that being down. When he looked, he was able to watch was the kid hid under the ramp, chuckling slightly, and hoping, for the kid's sake, that the Knights didn't notice him. By that time, the Knights' horses were all on the docks, and being led away, probably off to some upper-grade inn.
Having much better senses than a human, Cilia was able to hear the boy fall. As such, she too was watching as the boy hid under the ramp, the tip of her tail twitching slightly in amusement. Deciding to help him out, she subtly cast a spell, which would result in him being more difficult to notice for several minutes, except to those who were aware of his position. The spell would go away immediately though, if he did anything to attract attention.
((Edit: Okay, current post order: Me, Yokka, Ninja, 'songs.))

((The posts have an order? sweatdrop I didn't know that...)) "My name's Rana. I've not been on a boat in a year," she said. "I can't fight and haven't found anyone willing to help me get more inland."

((I didn't either, until I saw that. >.>...)) Assuming the guards and knights had all passed, Vincent peeked out from under the ramp. Sure enough, he was right, as there were no guards in sight. Looking on the ship, there were only a few people left at all; the rather older looking man, whom Vincent had an odd feeling about, as if he had been noticed, the younger woman he was talking to earlier, some sort of Puma-esque woman, and another lady with a horse were all that were still aboard. He decided if he were to get any help here, he'd have to start somewhere. Why not here? Climbing back onto the ship, he sat down next to the ramp, figuring he'd just talk to the first person to pass by.

Glad to see that she had found someone more friendly that the ever-pissy knights she began to tell her "story" to some extent. "Well there's not much to tell abou tme I'm afraid. I've never been on a boat before, I'm just looking for a fresh start you might say." Hoping that the half truth wasn't being given away Alita cast her eyes out to the water. "It's deffinatly not what I'd expected, but not as bad as I had feared."

As the horse of the Suwari mage, Cilia, Jack recalled, was lowered down to the dock, he watched out of the corner of his eye as the boy climbed back onto the boat for whatever reason. Perhaps he worked in the galley, perhaps in the scullery, which would explain why Jack hadn't seen him. Though that wouldn't explain why he was acting so oddly.
Once her horse was on the docks, Cilia put her saddlebags on it, then, picking up her satchel and magestaff, lead it with the reins away from the docks and towards the city proper. Her goal was to find a decent inn, specifically not the one that the Knights were staying at.

"Oh, are you hurt?" asked Rana. She extended her talent toward the person, absorbing her injuries.

Glancing around, he spotted the girl from earlier, talking to another woman, making some rather peculiar motions with her hands, almost ethereal in form. Having no current knowledge of any kind of magic, he decided to approach and ask about this. "Erm, excuse me," he interjected, tapping her shoulder, "But what exactly did you just do? I've never seen such acts, I was wondering where you learned them."

((I really hope this isn't against the rules or something... sweatdrop )) "It's just my talent, Empathy." said Rana. "I was born with it, and it's the only thing I'm really good at. I absorb the injuries of others."

((Well I suppose I can post, and continue the order. >.>)) Vincent gazed in awe. "So it's like...some kind of skill, or magic or something?" He tried the same hand motions...nothing. Perhaps he had the movements wrong or something? "I can't seem to get it..." He stated. Feeling slightly embarrassed, he continued trying.

Rana sighed. "It's not... learnable, I was just born with it. It doesn't have anything to do with motions..."
