XX isn't so bad if you just play with people who don't abuse the top tier characters. I personally haven't found anyone who does, and the CPU doesn't really do it to me, either, and I have it on the hardest setting
I don't have a problem with top tier abusement, just when you play Reload and then xx getting hit by stuff in xx doesn't feel right. There is alot of stuff that shouldn't be doing damage for the reason they hit you.
IE BAIKEN!
Baiken sweeps you near the corner, she continues with THIS COMBO!!
sweep->mat-> super jump p, s ,d wait's and as falling airdashes forward slash dust lands dashes up standing slash rejumps slash dust FRC's the dust Airdash forward slash. EASY combo does about 85% off a c.dust, her best normal in that game. XX is alot of laziness even characters like anji...
If anji throws you and has 3/4 meter he will throw a butterfly then immiedietly do super and frc the super. YOU ARE FORCED TO BLOCK THE BUTTERFLY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BACKDASH INTO THE SUPER. If you block the butterfly it goes up for the overhead ender while you are stuck blocking the super which is building up your stun bar immensely(unless you faultless defense), since anji frc'd he will run up and do c.slash(since it is his farthest low hitting normal) thus doing an unblockable, the last 3 hits of the super hit you for COUNTER COUNTER COUNTER and can be comboed further more. Anji is classified as low low tier, so it is not just the lower chars. Dizzy can basically free style frc ice spike combos for max damage anywhere since her frc is so early and there isn't much more to her gameplay except counter hit hardslash, UNTILL Reload comes out adding bubble trap setups and a way better mixup game. Characters also gain all around better normals or had their beastly normals a little toned down specificly for certain matchups.(Dizzy vs axl, ino vs dizzy, ino vs axl, testament vs axl, dizzy vs potemkin, eddie vs potemkin!!!) I can go on more for more ranting but lazyness swarms my brain. ;D
