I always liked Riley. I never could understand why everyone hated him so much. In that season 4 I actually disliked Buffy more cause she treated him so badly and he was so sweet and nice to her. sad I actually got pretty annoyed with Faith in Season 3 when she started to turn bad. I like her when shes helpful in the gang, like in Angel or in Season 7.

Not until I read the Seven Seasons of Buffy did I even know that people hated Riley. I loved him. I mean, he wasn't as good as Angel, and in retrospect, they didn't write him so well as either Angel or Spike, but there was an innocent and normal cuteness that I just liked so much about him. Just how... I don't know, human he was. I liked Kennedy too, not even close to as much as Tara, but I liked her as an individual, though I believe the writers rushed a relationship with Willow, and I could go on about that, but I won't.

I didn't really like Riley. I don't think it was so much about him, exactly, it just seemed to me that the college years kinda sucked in general. Riley was just a symbol of that suckiness. IDK. I didn't like him, but I can't put my finger on why.
I really like the Trio (dun dun dunnnn). Not just Andrew and Jonathan, either. I enjoyed any scene Warren was in. He was the perfect evil, human, supervillain. He was totally psycho, selfish, manipulative, and without a bit of a conscience.
I was a little disappointed that he died so easily. Willow stripping his skin (while dramatic for the Evil!Willow storyline) was kinda anticlimatic and didn't really seem to do justice to his evilness.

i also liked the Trio, but i have to say i hate warren. andrew's idea of the "duo" seemed pretty good to me! lolz andrew and jonathan were the funniest ones so it would've worked. i liked amy too but idk it was kinda her fault that willow went off the deep end. but in that case, i dont like willow. would it kill her to have a little willpower jeez. play on the word WILLpower lol.

Dawn is one of my favourite Buffy characters. That makes me quite a minority, I think.
I don't really dislike Riley--he's a good guy, and he made Buffy happy for at least a while--but he's not exactly a favourite of mine, either. He just...bores me. (Though he did have some great lines. "As a psychology major, I'm qualified to nod and go 'hmmm'"; "'I'm here to violate your first born child?' Doesn't go over very well with parents." )

People who I didn't like(at first) but who fans seem to love:
Willow...*shudder gasp* surprised
Yes I said Willow. Because at first when I started watching the show, I didn't care for her character. She was just...there. But now I know her character through and through and I don't feel that way anymore. I never hated her, but she wasn't a favorite, and she still isn't to this day.
Faith...
I didn't like her throughout the 3rd Season. She was a royal b***h and I couldn't stand her. But she grew on me, and now she's a decent character, but still not a favorite. smile
People who I liked, and most people hate:
Harmony and Cordelia. I liked them both even when they were the teenqueens of the highschool. Though at times Harmony was SO annoying, I kinda liked her. Then when she became a vampire, she was pretty funny. And Cordy, most people didn't like her when she was on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, I guess because she was snobbish. But I liked her, she reminded me of how sometimes my friends act at school. sweatdrop
Riley.He was okay at first. Like before the 5th Season, he was a decent character. 3nodding I thought that Buffy could finally have a boyfriend who's actually alive and breathing. But I lost respect for him in the 5th season...with the whole letting a vampire bite him and all. But I undersatnd why he did it though.
Oh, and I hated Kennedy. No, NOT because she replaced Tara, that's the less of my cares, it was because of her attitude. She was snobby, and not in a funny-Cordy-and-Harm kinda way. I dunno, it seems she just didn't have respect for anyone at first, especially Buffy. Oh, and I hated Rona as well.

After watching Buffy again resently I've come to realize I don't hate Riley. I just hated the abstract concept of Riley O_o Okay not really, but I hated the fact that he left her and married someone else! scream
Also I love Harmony heart She really grew on me (kinda like a fungus) during the 5th season of Angel, the episode Harm's way was one of my fave as well.
Oh and Dawn heart I don't understand people who don't like Dawn surprised

I HATE Rona! she annoyed the s**t out of me. and i dont know why people hated kennedy so much, i mean, sure she replaced tara, but boo-frickedy-hoo. and second of all she was hot, and a good fighter. what a great combination. sure she was snobby, but there were so many far worse potentials than her. like rona stare , she was just such a b***h.

Saiyajin-Neko gonk gonk gonk My Mum dosn't like TARA!!!! *Screams in pain* OMG WHO COULD HATE TARA?????? she was the only one that was really friends with everybody and she was even nice to spike. and she's the only 1 buffy trusted with her secret about spike and all that. anyways i also liked harmony. not at the beg. of buffy when she was such a b***h to cordelia about xander but i liked her starting with graduation part 2 and up until the last ep of angel.
