Kaonna sat silently in the darkness of a tree. She had come to call it home recently. It was one of the few trees remaining in that part of the city. She gazed on as some strange people walked by, not noticing her.

Ginseku walked along the path that led him into the city, on the outskirts of town. He took a multitude of turns, then ended up in a dark alley. He turned around, seeing there were several soldiers that were obviously rogue Loyalists from their clothing, as well as from their weapons. One stepped forward, apparently the leader. "Nice gun. Can I see it?" "No. Sorry but this gun is important to me." "Oh come on, I just wanna see it" "I said no. Please move so I may leave." "GIVE ME THAT DAMN GUN!" By this point the leader had reached for the gun at his side, as well as Ginseku's shirt to grip. Ginseku reacted so fast it was over in less than 10 seconds. He moved across the leaders arm easily, and pinned the leaders gun arm using the loop made from his arm. He took the gun and broke the leaders arm easily with a simple twist, and turned around with it trained on the barrels of the other 5 soldiers. He emptied the clip, unbelieveably hitting the tips of the bullets in the chamber and causing a premature explosion in the gun, which caused the bullets in the clips to freak out. They flew everywhere, ricocheting and killing every soldier in the alley. Except the leader. However, he had a bullet in each limb, and one in his stomach. Ginseku walked over from his cover-spot, hand at his side ready to draw his buster if need be. "Do me a favor. When you see your leader, tell him I'm coming for him." "Who do you think you are?..." "The Black Ghost." And with that, Ginseku turned around and walked away. The rain washed the blood into the middle of the street, and into the gutter as he walked down the sidewalk.

Nick tilted his head toward the shelves. "My name is Nick Kailen, and I am the leader of the Loyalists in this area. I also need some rope to tie this guy up."

"Oh, right..." Alora stuck the gun back in her waist band and headed toward a near by cupboard. Inside where coils of different kinds of rope. She grabbed one and brought it back over to Nick. "Here you go. That should hold him. Toughest stuff in the town..." She paused for a moment, giving him a good looking over. Thanks again for the help. I really needed it."

Ginseku walked down the streets of the town, apparently searching for something. He stopped several times to ask for directions, none of which where helpful. After about 12 minutes he stumbled upon a map sticking out of the trash. He looked it over several times. Then pocketed it, walking down the street to the general store. He opened the door, to find the strange scene of a man being tied up, a general store clerk with a gun in her belt, and another Loyalist holding the man down. He simply gave the people two glances, judging the situation. Assessing their objectives. Then figuring out what happened, he smiled. "Man gave you guys some trouble, this fine man showed up and helped you control him, right? Heh, good to know that people are still people regardless of sidings." He turned toward the clerk "I'd like to purchase some food and bandages please." He gave a small smile to her, letting her know he was friendly regardless of his dark appearance.

"Yes, right away." Alora went over to a near by shelf and dug through a basket. She pulled out a hand full of bandages and brought them back to the cash register. "The food can be found two shelves back. Feel free to choose what you like. She smiled, feeling a bit safer with Nick and the man in the shop. "My name is Alora, what's yours?"

Kaoona noticed a weapon of some kind sticking out from beneath one of the men's trenchcoats and listened in for what they were saying. "Find the girl. They say she hides out down here. I'm sure she won't give us too much trouble, but if she does, then let her have it. The boss will understand." Taking that as a sign, Kaoona readied herself for battle. She brought herself to a crouching position and prepared to strike. Quick as lightening, Kaonna leaped down from her hiding spot and landed on top of one of the four men. She wrenched the gun from his hand and fired a shot at him. "Get her! She's just a little girl!" the leader cried, as she picked off another of his men. Kaonna ran behind a tree so as to avoid any unwanted wounds from the two remaining men shooting at her. She knew she couldn't win this battle because the two men were well trained. Kaonna decided to flee and live to fight another day. But the question was how? She had nowhere to run really. She couldn't risk putting anyone else in danger. Just then, she heard the click of the final round in one of the men's guns. It was her chance to take out one of them. With a quick couple of shots, another man was gone. The only one left was the leader.

"Let's finish this girl. Now, if you come with me, you won't be harmed, but if you don't, then I'm going to have to kill you. What's your choice?"Kaonna didn't even need to think before she replied, "I would rather die a horrible and painful death than to help people like you!" Before the she could move, the man fired off two shots, one piercing her right arm. It was her shooting arm. She grasped the gun in her other hand and fired a shot. No good. Luckily, he was out of ammunition. She fired off another shot and got him in the gut. He keeled over onto the ground, dead. Kaonna didn't know whether or not others would come and therefore decided that is would be best if she left this place she had begun to call home. She grabbed what little possessions she owned and walked down the street towards the city.

Nick bound the man's hands, and then cuffed him with the buttof his gun. The man collapsed as Nick turned to face Alora, noting the new arrival.
"He said something about your husband or somesuch, some plans that the Loyalists wanted. If you have any idea where these might be, it would be great."

It was getting dark and cold. Kaonna didn't have any warm clothes or a blanket and if she didn't find shelter soon, she might not be able to survive the night. Her wound was bleeding profusely and it wasn't showing signs of stopping. If she wasn't careful, Kaonna might bleed to death as well. Up ahead, Kaonna noticed a light. She had to take a chance that the people inside were friendly and not her enemies. As Kaonna drew closer, she started to stagger. She hadn't eaten in a couple of days. Her vision started to blur as she almost reached the door of the store building. Kaonna took a step towards the door and collapsed altogether. The last thing she saw were three figures, hopefully they would find her before she died.

Ginseku turned around, walking back to the food section. He picked some random vital nutrient ingredients. And some of the green bean cans off of the floor. He walked back over to the register. Pulling out a 10$. And paying for the Items, leaving the counter before getting his change. He turned around, walking to the door. Stopping only to say. "Nice to meet you Alora. I'm Ginseku. I'll stop by tommorrow if you don't mind." He opened the door, and a young woman who apparently was laying against it to rest from her wounds fell over. Ginseku jumped back in quick reaction to the blood. Like that from the street. He dropped his bag, pulling out a needle and some stitch thread.Using a senbon to remove the bullet in her wound. He stitched her wounds. Observing the woman's face. And noticing how beautiful she was. He picked her up. "Alora? Would you happen to have a hammock, pair of sleeping bags and a tent for sale? Sorry if I'm taking up too much of your time. But I saw those very supplies up on the back shelf. May I buy them?"

"I'm sorry Nick, but I honestly have no clue what the man was talking about..." She took a hold of his hand and shook it with both of hers. "But if there is anything else I could do to help you, let me know."
Ginseku had placed a ten on the counter and was heading toward the door when she turned back around. "Nice meeting you too! That's fine. I open the store at seven." Alora walked behind the counter and put the money in the cash register. Just then she saw the un-conscience woman colapse through the open door and let out a gasp. "Oh my god..." She ran over to Ginseku and grabbed the back of his coat. "I have all those items and you are welcome to buy them, but right now we should get her to a bed. I have some spare rooms up stairs. Hurry, this way!" She led him to the very back of the store where the staircase was located. Up stairs there was a small hallway with several doors running down it's length. She opened one of them and led Ginseku and the mysterious girl inside. "You are welcome to spend the night here, as well as the girl. I'll be back in a bit." With that she headed back downstairs to Nick.

"Thank you so much Alora. That makes things a bit easier." Ginseku pulled out a pan as well as a burn tray, which he filled with holy incense. He laid the pan over the frame of the burn tray, lighting a match and setting off the incense, which warmed the water that he poured in the pan. He pulled out two cloths, cleaning and washing her body, leaving her undershirt on. He watched as she slept, tending to her wounds. He pulled a single incense rod from the fire, and crushed the burned ashes over her body in silent prayer of her well-being. He laid her down on the bed, washing the blood from her forehead, and moving the hair from her face. "I wonder how a beautiful thing like you could get yourself shot like this?.."

Alora got to the bottom of the stair and shouted through the shelves to Nick. "If you need me, I'll be upstairs taking care of the girl." She then ran back up the stairs. She opened the door slowly and peeked in. "Is she going to be alright?"

"Yeah she should be fine. Just a hit to the shoulder, and some bruises. But look at this." He tossed her the dried bullet that was enlodged in her shoulder. "Thats a Colt .45 bullet. And only those from the Order of God use those to fight. Unless they fought with more than handguns, which I doubt because she would've come out of that with more injuries than a shoulder shot. What do you think they were after her for?" Ginseku glanced at the woman, then back at Alora with a somewhat worried face.
