HUMAN! pros: you can stand in the middle of a busy sidewalk and nobody goes "what's with him?" or looks at you strangeley!
cons:boorrrinngg....and also! you have no way of telling if your human in the first place! short death..

i can't speak for others...
I am a sort of wierd starchild who can't figure out who he is gonk
pros: very dexterous (i have no idea why), increased agility, retractable wings (thats always a strange experience), increased energy control, i get to whack people with hammers taht don't exist
cons: being attacked by dogs (AAAAAARGH. do i HAVE to be in a city where EVERYONE OWNS A DOG?), my best friend is a hunter. joy. I have random fits of emotion. and thats about it
most of the dragonkin i know...
pros: sense of guidance and wisdom, general good health, strong moral sense, good longevity.
cons: philisophical loss of meaning, phantom limbs hurt like fire, depression.
housecat. enough said...
actually... in a week kit will come by... so i'll leave this to the experts

Angel- (These are in my opinion only...)
Pros: Heightened healing and empathic senses, optimism, often well-liked, a certain degree of humility, less likely target of "hunters"
Cons: Huge conscience, heightened empathy (I'm overjoyed, but why is my heart breaking?), frustration with more cynical people, astral wings (sometimes makes it hard to sit still in chairs)

Were-kin Pros: Instinct, dude! wink Y'know how many times I've avoided getting hit in the head by a flying stray coke can? Not a lot, since coke cans don't just up an' fly, but...you get the point, yes? whee
Cons: Otherkin hunters, and the only other one I've personally experienced is growling uncontrollably. It's really, really embarrassing when someone comes up to me and says "What the hell are you doing?" and I just keep growling 'til I can stop. sweatdrop

"Angels" or "Celestials" are in every culture. It doesn't mean we're Christian. We CAN be, but there are other gods we can follow. For example, I've been learning a lot from the Moirai recently (or just Moira, if they're combined).

Eh, pros: Well, I just like being me. Good hearing, though that's quite possibly genetic (my mom can hear a flee fart from a mile away, I swear. I couldn't get away with anything as a kid. Hmm... Growing up with a bunch of boys (I had three male cousins with which I spent most of my youngest years), I had NO problem with rough-housing as play. I think that were I not a wolf therian, there's a good chance I would have wanted to play with dolls or some such and been bored and lonely most of the time. Like above, instincts... which come in handy in confrontations or just in roughousing. I feel secure when walking down the street alone, because I know I can handle myself. I also think it's my wolfishness that gives me some of my leadership skill (coupled with being my family's firstborn child). Last, I'm adept at certain things that entail the use of teeth. The only one I can mention here is that I've been known to break bones from a rack of ribs while chewing on them. Cons: Tendencies like growling or the urge to chew on things like the bones from ribs o.o. A general distrust of most humans. Mental shifts cause near freak-outs for me sometimes. I've also been known to get a little too playful and accidently cause minor injuries (bruises from an over-zealous n**, etc). I guess, finally, the biggest drawback is simply the limitations of the human body. Azana Brown MicaiahCreston have you met any otherkin hunters? I, personally, have not. I dunno about other people on here. I've never met any otherkin hunters, either. Personally, I really don't think they actually exist in any significant number, and of the people that might claim to be, most are lying or may think they are but never -actually- hunt anything. I have been accused by a zealous Christian of being possessed by a demon who's making me sin by thinking I'm a Therian. That's about the closest I've come... I'd say the biggest worry would be that kind of people if they decided to attempt an exorcism, but again, I think that's unlikely.

Fullmetal Alchemist Emily Hm... My strongest side is dragon.. For the pain-with-the-wings thing, I always get really paranoid and nervous when people are near my back unless i want them to stare And I have the annoying habit of when I'm in my classes, i can usually see out the window, and my mind makes meh feel like i'm flying there, and flying, and not paying attention... One time someone had to whack me on the head with a book (OW! gonk ) for me to 'come out of it' whee . I know people complain about having "rude awakenings" but i feel if you have good self control you should be able to control your awakenings. Mine is slow and steady, ont all at once, so i only sometimes have exaggerated mood swings. For some otherkins in their teens i think they might occasionally mix up hormones with 'Otherkin mood swings'. I can also sometimes 'live the life' of my other side, good for when i'm having a crap-ish day... wow.... eek that's exactly like me!!!
