[-Devon Teh Typo Queen-] Think about it. She was 10 when she started high school. Then 4 years later, they graduate and she is 14. HOW COME SHE DOESN'T HAVE BOOBS YET?! I think it's weird. High school in Japan is three years long as opposed to four. So she would be 13 and alot of girls don't have boobs at 13.

Another reason: While translating, they might have neglected to change the age difference in Asia and America. In Asia when you are born, you are already 1 year old, and instead of aging by birthdays, they add another year in new years. So if they hadn't translated the age right, she could be 8 or 9 in American years.
