They are good prices for gifts! For a friend's birthday or something like that, I think ten bucks is pretty good!

Ten Bucks is really good. I tried writing one and you wouldn't belive how hard it was! And that was only one page, mangas havemore then 100! It's cheap if you think about it.

I think they are a bit hard to get hold of . . . more or less because my parents don't approve than the price.

The prices are way too high. Any other paperback book is like $7, but $10 for a manga, which takes about an hour to read? Too much. Just buying two of them is using a lot of my money. I guess I'll buy used ones from amazon.com, but then they aren't brand new.. crying Plus, I hate second-hand books..ripped pages, ruined covers, etc. *sigh* Well, if buying used manga is the only way I can read Fruits Basket, then I'll just have to live with it.
Or, I could just sit in the bookstore for hours, reading away. They would probably have to drag me out of the store, though.. sweatdrop

Reading anything on a regular basis does improve your reading skills. Yes, they are a bit pricey, being basically ten U.S. dollars a book, but I've got a job. I don't really care. Now if they go any higher, I won't be very happy. domokun
