Felting is making an object of wool (lets say a hat) finishing in VERY loosly then washing it in hot water to make it shrink. Then the stiches are so tight that you wind up with a fuzzy (felted) hat! Easy concept that i still haven't tried. There are plenty of books in book stores ALL about felting. You should go check some out! rofl
