He'd taken Kitsy with him today, Pale smiled when she saw them. All things considered, today had been a easy day. Her kids just had a 24 hour cold, Fay had opened up trade with Quin and the rest of BA, and now she could go visit Ultima. "Heya," she nudged Wed with her hip (both hands were full, one holding Cade and the other grasped in Illiana's hand) "'lil help here? I need you to take them for just a bit- I'm so busy." did it sound like she was pleading?

Wedsday was still staring at that stranger off to the side that Chanti'd screamed at. It looked like he'd been holding onto Kia?.... What was Kiasys up to? Did he want to know? Yes, yes of course he did, and that bugged him. He shook his head, then met Pale's eyes. What had she wanted? The kids? Oh, sure, Kitsy needed the playmates "Take as long as you need," he resisted the urge to comment on Jay "It's all good." then he lowered his voice "That guy over there" he made a small motion to him "is he anyone?"

"I don't think so," she replied, the smile fading from her face "Look, I'll check him out if there's some problem..but could you have fun someplace else? It's going to take some time until things settle down and New Xhen is.....well, safe. Relatively." She headed off in the man's direction.

Kitsy tugged on Wedsday's pant leg. She hadn't been to New Xhen before, and it was starting to look to her like the place you see in movies where someone is walking out alone and then people in trench coats start to follow them. Then they corner the person in the alleyways and bring out some crowbars, and then Wedsday had told her it was bedtime. She didn't know what happened next but she had had a bad feeling.

"Alright you lot, what say we finish off the last of the sticky stuff?"He caught Kitsy's concern, and flashed her one of his "don't-worry-I'm-not-gonna-get-us-killed" grins.
"Kits, I need ya to hold hands with Ana there, 'k? If you could make shure her head smacks into a minimum number of things on the way home, that'd be great too." he shifted Cade to his other hip and they started to take off. Too bad they hadn't had a chance to buy anything.

Someone? Anyone? It tended to be more annoying than helpful, Priests' hearing. But it was time that Kimache should meet him. He had taken up residence, as well as made legitimate trade contacts. Still, he would have prefered it occured in a more respectable setting.
She was already walking towards him, but he waited until she met his eyes "Is there some way I may assist you?" he spoke gently, but there was steel behind it. As he always was.

Not many people there offered help as a opening remark here, and Pale was a litte surprised that it seemed that he didn't know who she was. Then again: "I can hardly say I know everyone here, but I was curious to meet you." she extended her hand when she came close enough "Pale Kimache."

They so need my help here-" he made a gesture to New Xhen in general "Already the young city has two areas of severe impoverishment."

It hadn't been an insult, but the way he said it caught Pale's attention. And put her on the defensive "Well, it is like you said, we're young. What part of BA are you from then if not here?"

"Pale!" Chanti called out, pushing through some of the crowd "It's the elves!" she was almost there, and could see Pale talking. Maybe it was Wedsday or Jay. Just as well, they should know about this too.

Chanti was usually a little dramatic, but Pale turned around anyways. Besides, Priest had looked surprised so maybe this was going to be worth it "Right, right I'm over here." Chantico was already coming towards them.

That woman had known what he was with little more than a look a brush up before, he wasn't going to give her the oppertunity t recognize him again. When Pale turned, he quickly made himself scarce. It was time to meet Fay and the infamous Quintilius.

"He....." Pale turned around, no Priest. Huh. Maybe Wesdaday was right to be a little wary. "I can't say I've heard anything, we're lucky that it just seems to be confined to here then. Look, I need you to get Reaper and make sure she knows about this. Also, if Aes is still on duty we need him too."
