Lucifer H. Marik Metric wizard It'll be Sony winning. Mircrosoft comes close, but don't have the expertise needed for making proper functioning devices (windows, lol). Wii is a fun looking idea, but it doesn't really have that "thing", the "essence" that seperates the good from bad. I disagree with your opinion on the wii but I agree about windows, lol. mrgreen rofl Let me put it like this: Wii is like Advanced Dance Dance Revolution.

Simply put-
Nintendo is always gonna be stepping it up inovation-wise
Sony is always gonna be stepping it up technology-wise
X-box is always gonna be stepping it up mainstream-wise
And I'm getting the Wii. Free internet, WHOOT!

Well most of the time I know what Im talking about because I have multiple connections and I over hear multiple conversations at school so my knowledge on technology is very good so to speak. May I ask what type of iPod you are going after?

I'm just going to throw my own opinion in here; no fans of the other two take offence but... the best thing that an Xbox 360 could be used for is a lampshade. And even then it's not 80% sucessful. In my opinion (keywords, here), the Xbox is just a bad try at competition for Playstation. It came out after it, the graphics on Playstation are better, and although the graphics on Xbox 360 are pretty darn good, the PS3 is going to be one step ahead. As for Wii... where did it come from? Out of the blue! I mean, what is it's purpose? Another bad try at competition? The playstation is getting more and more into a mini PC specifically for gaming as the day goes on. The PS3 is going to have a detachable harddrive, therefore meaning that you can use a memory card if you want, but what's the point when you can go online and download the game directly to your Playstation? A detachable harddrive also means, that without having to create another console, a new harddrive with more capacity could be released, and so you can just take out the old and put in the new. And fit more on it. Play online, shop online, play music on your playstation and play Spyro without that annoying background music... you name it, the playstation will be there.
However, in saying that... I have to be forward in saying that I think the PSP is a waist of space. Just another handheld device wanting you to use your money up on it. Wow, you can play dvds on it, but you have to but the special discs, you have to buy the special gear in order to take photogRAPHS, etc. Just buy a digi cam, and chances are, you've already got a dvd player, so it all ends up just being cheaper. The DS... I'm not so happy with the touch screen idea. A touchscreen is for a PDA (personal digital assistant), not a handheld gaming device. In saying that, I'm jealous of the games getting released on them. The only reason I would buy a PSP would be so that I could play Daxter on it, and the only reason I would buy a DS is so that I could play Nintendogs. All in all, I'm happy with my gameboy advance. When everyone out there is using up all their money on the latest star wars game for PSP when you've only got a couple of buttons to preform multiple tasks and the graphics are nice but they're so small you can't see them, I'll be buying PlayStation One and Two games off of ebay for less than a fiver and still having many hours of enjoyment with low lying graphics.
I think I'm done now. ^^-
