Rei would let the male go for now, but he had his scent. He turned to his mate and placed his hands on her shoulders, "My love...are you alright?" he asked no hint of anger in his voice.

Rei went to her and gathered her into his arms, "You worried me my little love..." he said and kissed her deeply, his hands sliding down her arm. He pulled back and licked her arms very slowly taking his time.
"I love you...i swear I will not hunt the undead unless they stalk us...I do not wish to lose you."

*Moonaria sighed as she allowed Rei to bath her in affection and tenderness. With a soft smile she looked up into her eyes and shook her head.*
I can not ask you not to hunt them...It is a part of who you and the male gender of our people are....The unclean are growing in numbers, it is just I wish the male population knew how much greif they put us women threw freting over wither or not they would return. Even if they got injured and tried to hide it from us we still feel it all the same.
*Gently she reached up and caressed the side of his cheek....That was until the sense of danger caused her to inhale deeply. She looked around, the undead were not near but they still were in danger....She looked towards the camp site and no sign of Erik or his friend were there....But yet she had the feeling they were surrounded.*
Rei....
*Before she could finish an explosion echoed through the night tearing into Rei's right should sizzling by the large wound and the light that came from it it was a large flare that burned into his shoulder. Erik came walking into view with the smoldering gun and hatred in his mind. His other friends four in number had varies weapons. Ranging from large knives to one other flare gun.*
Erik: That is the freak...He is some monster that has her under his spell.
Moonaria: No Erik you...
Erik: Moonaria, get away from him...He is evil.
Moonaria: No, Rei is not...Now please stop...
Erik: Fred take her....
*Erik exclaimed as he dropped the flair gun and pulled out a large knife. Moonaria placed her hand over Rei's wound and yanked out the flare burning her hand in the process before Fred yanked her away from Rei...Moonaria screamed as the rest of them converged on Rei...Intent on killing him or at least teach him a very valuble lesson. Fred on the other hand held a knife to her throat. Moonaria watched on in horror as they sliced into Rei whom was fighting back vailantly. Tears pooled in her eyes as she felt ever ounce he went through of pain. Learching forward with in the shadows of the trees where Fred held her, the two tumble to the ground in a struggle and suddenly there is seering hot pain in the coursing through lower belly....Fred instantly let go and scrambled away with his hands covered in blood....*
Fred: I didn't mea......We fell.....OH GOD!

Rei looked at his mates eyes and kissed her gently.
The moment the flair hit him time froze. When he looked around he let out a growl the beast unleashing in him. He disappered tearing out the throats of the men in a blur. Making sure that the one called fred had suffered as he died.
He ran to his mate gathering her into his arms, he knew he did have not much time to save the life of his mate and daughter. He ented her body as energy comanding her to hold on as he latched his mind on to hers he quickly but efficiantly healed his mate and set to work on his daughter, holding her life to him and his mate. "My little one....stay with us." he called to her and felt her struggle to survive and live. He continued his bond with mother and daughter as he willed them to thier house.
"KHIRA!" he screamed mentally to the one who was as good as a sister to him, "I need you now...Moon and my daughter have been injured, I do not know if I can have them hold on much longer...please help!"
He waited for the call he knew would come he counted on Khira he could not lose his mate or daughter and he was forbidding it. "Stay with me my love...help guide our child back to us...please my love do not leave me" he cried holding her tightely before entering her body once more and working to heal both of his beloveds.

*Moonaira inhaled sharply as she slowly looked up at him with dulling eyes... Paling considerably, Moonaria body trembled with pain. She tried desperately to send him waves of reasurrance when she cried out in pain and began to bleed a little more...Her abdomen began to contract..Worryingly she looked up towards him.*

Rei held her tightly and took her into the basement of their home where he had had soil from thier homeland brought in as another gift for her, "My love...please hang on for me beautiful." he said holding thier minds to his.

Khira's head rose quickly with her cousin's scream in her head, "Rei...What is it cousin...what is going on? What is the extent and i need the location." she called to him merging her mind with his as he sent her the information.
"I will be there soon cousin, hold them with you I will not take long I am not that far from you." Khira said already gathering all she needed plus more.

*Moonaria slowly nodded, as her breathing grew slow and unevening....She was pale beyond belief, as she reached up to place her hand over the wound while closing her eyes...Consentrating on not passing on or letting her little one go....Though with each passing moment it was getting more and mroe difficult.*

Rei stared at his mate holding her, he brought his wrist to his mouth tearing it open and pressing it to her mouth, "Please do not disobey me in this my beautiful and drink, I will not lose you or our daughter." He said before dropping from his body and doing what he could to heal her as he could until his cousin showed. she was close he could sense it on her way to help him when he was in need.

Khira flew with the speed of many as she reached her cousin's cabin she tapped into his pinpoint and with a thought was at his side and the side of his mate.
"Moon I presume?" she asked softly dropping to her knees and taking out many candles that would help the healing and gathered the herbs. She went into the girls body dragging her cousin out against his will. "Rei, mix the herbs and I will do what I can for your mate, I swear she and your child will live. You must stop her feeding and once the herbs are mixed go and feed so you may feed your mate."

*Moonaria was unable to do as he asked, and his precious ancient blood oozed down the saids of her mouth. Her eyes fluttered a little as she moaned in great discomfort....She opens her eyes slightly and the light with in them was almost gone, before they slowly closed again.*

Rei let out a cry but held on to his wife and daughter's minds keeping them on this earth. He licked the wound and kissed her lips before lighting the candle with a wave of his hand and mixing the herbs.
"Do not go my love...please do not go. Do not leave me to the darkness again." he pleaded with her wanting her with him for the rest of thier days for thier eternity.

Khira became pure energy going inside Moon's body and healing the wounds carefully before moving to the child, the mother would live that was certain but she would need rest and blood. The child would live but it was still a battle for her life. "Come on little one...life for your mother and father...for your mate who needs you so desperatly." she called to the child, very aware that it was her father and her struggle that she was still there. She worked for a long period of time, reciting the healing chant and listening as many other carpathians from around the world that had met her joined in. After three hours she pulled out and looked to her cousin although she was swaying with wearyness she smiled, "they will live...but they need blood. Mine is strong and I can offer her some while you hunt. You have not left her side cousin."
