The cops turned them in to the other cops, claiming to have tried to stop them! The Purple cow was so angery, that she started Karate Buck-Kicking (haha, get it?), everyone in sight. When she realised what she'd done, it was too late and she had no choice but to flee the country with her children and the Elderly Llama.
