She hops off the balcony, allowing him his time alone and wanders towards the crowd hoping to throw in sarcastic remarks here and there.

Yes, but what's on the other side? Where the sun never reflects? We only see this side of the moon. The dark side is the other half that we never see.

But there is never any sun. So the rocks are never warmed. Would that side be less eroded?
