I got a +5 Ruby. ^-^
Crazy story okay: I was at the second Guardian Tree spawn, trying to do that goddamn quest (3 fruits down, by the by), & two trees spawn at once. I try & get both at once, but doing so is kind of hard on a lvl 38 FS muse. So, I got one. Then, like all GT spawns, hell broke loose & barfed a tsunami of scarabes on my head. I had Blessing Armor on though, so they didn't hurt so much.
The trees go down, & I get no fruit - but one pops a damn Ruby! I run over w/ about 10 scarabes nipping at my heels & grab at it madly... the game doesn't think it doesn't belongs to me apparently. But, I'm a patient girl, & I keep jamming on the Gather button, & running back & forth over it like a crazy person. Three other people that saw the GT drop it do the same.
The scarabes are taking their toll by now, so I heal real quick, & go back to button-mashing. So does everyone else. The scarabes are really hurting now, since Blessing Armor only lasts 30 seconds. And suddenly, I died. And the ruby was gone. So, I respawn thinking, s**t, that was a damn good chance & I blew it. But then, I'm like, what the hell check your inventory anyhow. And there it was! heart CandyLolita, your queen of luck. It'll make a sweet gift. whee

I got a Garnet +5, it's kinda like what happend to you fah. But someone else got first hit on it but ran away. (poor person... didn't know they could of had a gem) XD anywho i was pushing my F2 key like crazy, i had a muse trying to get it too. But then he just got stupid, and started healing and buffing people so i ended up getting it whee

lol Sounds kinda like me - I had to heal once while fighting w/ those big, scary Scarabes & loser Hawkers over the Ruby. And hee hee - you can use that, huh ty? blaugh
Another good drop, actually gotten a few days ago - 6/5 dumb gloves! xd I've always hated dumb gloves (since Fah was forced to use the same (3) pair from about lvl 5-30 xd ), but these sort of redeem it. Sad as hell stats though, like 5/4/1... lol It's on my soldier>Knight, who until recently was using a 6/5 Javerin, so they were useful for a while. ^-^

Its not a drop but i bought a cheap pair (about 2k) lvl 50 muse gloves that hadnt been appraised, appraised them and they have +5 sen on xd means they should sell for a hell of alot more than i paid for them biggrin heart
