KirbyVolt Exselser Wether we like it or not, ToS is the most popular Tales released in the States so far and Nintendo's said they wouldn't put any characters in from series not popular in both countries. Then just don't include the Tales characters. Honestly, US' stupidity on what's cool and what's not bugs me beyond belief. Sorry, but I will KILL all Symphonia fanatics if Lloyd, Kratos or ANY Symphonia character makes it into SSBB without at LEAST 1 Phantasia counterpart. Yuan I'm more lienient on because he's actually cool. The rest? I see Zelos playable and no Cless or Dhaos at all, I shall go and murder all Symphonia fans to make sure that next game Symphonia WON'T be the most popular. Don't worry. SSBB won't come out for a long time (like Q4 2007) and Abyss will be out before then. It might be more popular then Symphonia. So instead of Lloyd we have Luke in the game.

MG started on Nintendo, though, and Snake's been on GameCube. Kojima specifically wanted Snake in SSB whereas I seriously doubt either Nintendo or Namco is considering any Tales characters... Sad but true.
But hey, just for kicks I'll wish upon a satanic star that that chibi version of Annie makes it in somehow. xD

But hopefully They will add Chester and Cless and just to be some what fair lloyd and Kratos Zelos Or maybe A Cless/Mint team like the Ice Climbers and A lloyd/Collet team.. I onestly dont care as long as they add my Mother Chacters I wanna kick somebodies a** whith Poo

Sheesh, all of this speculation is making my head hurt. -_-; If anyone from a Tales game is on SSBB, it would have to be teh awesomeness that is Klarth. C'mon, I want to see Link get hit over the head with a spellbook or two. Then again, he wouldn't really have an actual in-your-face style of fighting; he'd summon Undine to kick a** for him. 3nodding
But that's just me and my foolish dreams. And, sadly to much of our disappointment, Lloyd or someone less a**-kicking from ToS will be in SSBB if they choose to put in a Tales character. gonk

Oh, I did get some news off some people from the Japanese site. Forget the whole 3rd-party thing, it has the least chance of succeeding. It basically went like this:

*Everyone is awed*
*Snake shows up*
Everyone: OMG! SNAKE! WILL THERE BE MORE THIRD PARTY CHARACTERS?!!
Nintendo guy: ...uh... sure... yeah, of course.
*Nintendo guy goes behind booth and calls up Sakurai*
Nintendo guy: s**t, you better get some other 3rd party characters in here and fast!
Sakurai (Creator of Kirby and the Super Smash Bros. series) is good friends with the creator of Metal Gear Solid. The creator begged him last time that Snake be put in, but they were short on time so they couldn't. Sakurai is just fufilling a promise to a friend.

I think what's official is them not adding Mia in. Honest to God, MIA?! Can't you think of any PoR characters BESIDES her?! gonk Like...like...SOMEONE who ISN'T her? >_> Not that I hate her, I was just...stunned.
