Jakob continued to sit by the lake until sprawled out onto his back, hugging Bummer close and burrying his face into the thick fur on his dog's neck. Giving a long sigh, he smiled at his rather large dog, and then rolled onto his stomach. He tucked his left arm beneath his chin and stared at the water, a whole new aura about him. He reached out with his right hand and dipped it into the water.
Maybe's eyes went from Cassie and her sister to Autumn and her twin. He watched them for a moment before he walked to the exiting door on the roof. He shrugged the crow from his shoulder and walked down the stairs towards his home room. As he walked inside, many of the people who thought they were his friends turned and stared. They had seen him like this before, and it wasn't something to mess with. His eyes were so serious, but it was a good look on him.
The teacher sucked in a breath to say something and he stopped, one hand shoved into a pocket of his robes. Turning his head, his hair falling to the right of his face, he shot a very serious look at her, causing ehr to shut her mouth instantly. As he walked past Cassie's sister, he glanced down at her before sitting towards the back of the room.

Christina shot a glare at Maybe, she had the hatred of a thousand hells in her eyes. She didn't like guys like him, they were always trouble, which is why she never got along with Sieg. The two of them were too tempermental.

Jakob became so relaxed that a small smile crept upon his lips permanently as a soft voice began to move from between his lips as he began to sing a song he wrote.
Maybe had no real reaction. He knew that he could find her attractive, and she'd never be interested. That's how it always went. He was used to getting shot down.

Maybe looked at her, though his expression didn't change. Standing, he waited for the teacher to excuse him to go to the bathroom, although the teacher knew very well he would probably wander the halls and up to the roof.
Walking out of the door, he turned the corner, but instead of going towards the roof, he leaned against a wall, wedged into a corner between a few lockers, and sank down, resting an arm on his knee as he stared at the tiled floor below him, waiting for the bell to ring.
"No matter what I do, or who I try to be... It's always the same... Jakob... he's lucky... He's not afraid to be himself, and girls like him for that, and yet he never responds... But maybe, when he finally accepts a girl, I'll get Bummer... then I'll have someone that won't reject me."

Jareth happened to be near by as he heard that, he groaned.
"Just be yourself! Girls like me because Im me."
Jareth shook his head in disbelief at how guys tried to impress girls. He knew the secret.

Before Maybe had completely exited the room, he shot a look back at Jareth, though it had no meaning behind it, it was just to be polite to those speaking to him. But now he sat in the hall, staring at the ground, wondering who he really was. His name didn't tell him anything, and his personality was just an unsure of an answer as his name. Giving a sigh, he thought about it. He was a jokster, one who liked to jerk reactions from people, but girls absolutely despised that. But that was all he was, and that was who he was. Standing up, he shrugged. Walking down the hall, he began to pace back and forth, not knowing what to do or think.

[ A few weeks later... ]
Jakob sat inside his new home. That's right. No more apartment. Although, everything that was in the apartment was moved out and into his new home... including Maybe. Smiling as he reached down and pet Bummer before sitting in a chair and lifting one leg to rest his foot on his knee, he picked up his guitar and began playing it. Soon there was a voice screaming familiar lyrics with the tune. He and Maybe had started a band, and so far, they were a big hit. There was another member that made them such a huge hit amongst the boys. Her name was Raecelyn and she was like the Goddess of Beauty. Everything about her was beautiful, there was no ugly side to her. Always kind and gentle, and she played the keyboard better than anyone else who had auditioned!
Maybe stopped shouting the lyrics into his microphone and reached down to gently pat Bummer on the head before he looked around. Panicing, he grabbed hold of Jakob's arm and blinked, hair falling into his face.
"Where did Rae go?"
"Out to the store. Calm down and let go of me, you weirdo."

Across town a man sat in a cafe, called the Raven's Feather sipping on a large cup of Mocha Late. He loved cappucino, fortunately this was his establishment so he had drinks his daughter would enjoy since he knew children hate coffee. And in some cases ego centric pretty boys named Jareth who just got dumped.
"......You know Jareth she wasn't your type....hell she tried to keep you away from your family..."

Raecelyn walked down the streets, brushing her blonde bangs from her blue eyes. Oddly enough, she had no pupils, simply an ocean of blue. Smiling softly to the cashier, she ordered a snickers frescante and waited patiently. She had bandages along her arms with blood stains, a silver bracelet on her right wrist, a torn tank top, and a black skirt with flames going up the side. She also had two gold hoops at the top of her right ear and a stud in her left earlobe as well as a brown leather material holding a gold cross at the end of it for a necklace.
Smiling a beautiful smile, her blue orbs shining, she opened up her purse and gave the cashier a ten, when the frescante didn't cost near that much. Turning around, she stopped at the door with her hand on it, holding it open slightly. Turning her head, ringletted red hair falling down her shoulders, she let out a whimsical giggle and spoke in the most tender, whimsical voice. Almost like an angel.
"It's your tip for being so kind. Continue being so kind to everyone, even those that frustrate you, and fortune is sure to come your way. You have a nice day."
Smiling gently, she walked out and stopped infront of the door, closing her eyes and tilting her head upwards towards the sun before letting a giggle float out and ride the wind.
"Such a beautiful day should not be wasted... I should take Bummer and the boys to the park. I bet they'd like it."

Jareth whined as he drank his milk shake, it was the only way to fill the void in his soul everytime he got dumped. And he was quite the whiner when he was dumped.

Hearing the cry from inside the cafe, Raecelyn turned around and walked back inside. She was a bit on the skinny side, well, a lot on the skinny side, but she was well built. Nice curve, filled out nicely, great complexion, and nice body tone. Smiling as she set her frescante down on their table, she bent down and put a hand on his knee, leaning forward to gently kiss his forehead before she picked up her drink again.
"Your friend loves you, in his own way. Besides, if you just stop looking for her, the girl that will love you forever is sure to come. I can see it in your eyes. Call me crazy, but I believe it."
Standing back up, she smiled to Fenix, nodded her head as she picked up her drink, and walked towards the door, stopping to look over her shoulder.
"The girl behind the counter thinks your friend is cute."
She said towards Jareth as she giggled, causing the girl behind the counter to blush heavily, before she turned and walked out. Getting home quickly, she grinned as she handed her frescante to Maybe and kissed him lightly on the nose before kissing Jakob on the cheek. Grabbing the leash, she kissed the top of Bummer's nose before she took both Jakob and Maybe's hands, holding both their hands as she walked towards the park.
"It's gorgeous outside and you two are withering away inside that house. Besides, Bummer needs to get out more."

Jareth was a little confused by this woman then returned to his moping and drinking of milk shakes. Which were really just blizzards considering it had cookie dough in it.

In the park a man wearing black and white clothing walked he wasn't angelic, nor was he demonic. He was both. He looked like some kind of goth emo punk or something of the like. He certainly did stand out.

Raecelyn entered the park slowly and looked upon the strange boy. Stuck out like a sore thumb. Stopping and turning her head, she put a hand on her hip and looked firmly at Maybe, who was now wearing the leash.
"Are you going to be good this time and stop touching Jakob now?"
During the middle of their walk to the park Maybe wouldn't stop poking and annoying Jakob, so she had hooked him up to the leash and kept him on the right side of her. Waiting for him to nod his head, she let him go and turned to Jakob, finally letting go of his hand.
"It would appear that Maybe needs a leash to walk more than Bummer does."
