Alexandra Fox stood on a platform on a trading post that's name... wel frankly she forgot. She'd recently spoken to an old friend of her's Mal Reynolds about a position on an old ship on his. It was supposed to meet her there soon. She saw a wave go over the cortex and released they might be a little late.
A distress signal went over a few of the screens near where she was standing. There were several reports of reaver attacks at Lilac and Haven. She knew several members of mal's crew lived in lilac and haven. She watched as a few people rushed to their ships. She was useless here. Alex had no ship of her own and not nearly enough money to convince someone to bring her along.
Alex went back to where she'd been staying and waited.
It's all she could do.

The ship landed in a port never visited before and it was strange when the saw almost all of the ships take off. He just sat there with a grim expression and then it turned into a cheerfulness that everyone would hate. Leaving the ship, just looking around, and then at off.

Artemis got off and sighed, "I wonder if this is how Mal felt the first time he stepped onto a different planet." she said aloud, looking around.

Alexandra looked around the port at saw Miranda. It was just as Mal described it. It showed the test of time but had a uniqueness, a distinction from all the other ships. She hesitantly entered the ship and looked around. She finally came across a man with short brown hair and blue eyes. Alexandra could only assume he was Jason Tam. She hurried over to him and extended her hand. "i'm Alex Fox and I'm your captain" she said. She looked at him more closely, she was certain she knew him from somewhere but she couldn't place it.
(finally on board yay!)
