Hey, I'm tulokyn, and I'm a newbie crafter. Over the last month or so, I've dived headlong into the world of yarn, picking up crochet, and then two weeks ago, knitting.

I'm currently worknig on a 1x1 rib pair of legwarmers a strand of mohair and a strand of wool held together as one. It looks really nifty. <3

I'm also going to art school this fall, where I will be introduced to the world of wood and metal in the firs semester. o_o

Sorry I didn't get around to posting earlier. I'm back at school now, with more reliable computer access and time.

Basic into... 22yr's old. Female. I've been crochetting off and on since I was 7. I've been knitting about a year or two now. I also sew. Stuff that's borderline crafty...I paint minitures for gaming. I'm a big geek, so I also roleplay and game a lot. I'm currently in school for Electrical Engineering. When I get more out of the way with that, I will be returning to Photography and also continuing to major in that as well. When I'm not knitting, I'm generally reading Sci-fi/fantasy books and cuddling with my kitties and my tea.

...Wow, I sound like my mother. xd

Hello, everyone! My name is Kristy and I'm so so glad this guild exists. heart My main craft is sewing. Mostly purses but I like to reconstruct clothes and I'm starting to make my own from scratch. I also knit and am currently working on like 10 scarves for Christmas. I'm learning to crochet and I've dabbled in cross-stitch, embroidery, and jewelery making. I'll try anything, really. Anyhoo, thanks for letting me join this lovely guild. biggrin

Anyone else feel like they've entered into a meeting of Crafters Anonymous?

Anyway. I spend an inordinate amount of time thinking I'm too old to be here (a hint: older than anyone else has admitted to being in this thread), but it beats just hiding in my office/craft room of DOOOOOM being anti-social. smile My main passion is making jewelry - my goal is to one day be able to open my own shop, though that's a long way off. I try to balance my time between finishing orders for people and coming up with new stuff in hopes that someone might buy it eventually...

I also love to knit, but I don't get to spend as much time on it as I used to (ever since I quit the job where they let me knit in my cubicle). Love knitting lace and cables and other intricacies, but don't make me switch between strands of yarn if you value your life. And from time to time I get to work on decoupage, but that's become a real rarity in the past year or so.

But other than that, I spend way too much time either at work or staring at the tv - anime or baseball, it matters not...

age doesn't matter mrgreen i'm 14 and i made this guild xd
already people have said that i'll be a designer one day---what matters what you do with your craft, how you design things, how far you push to get to that extra mile

Greetings Everyone C:

My Gaian name is Monokuro Boo, but you can call me Sari. I'm 20 years old and I've been crafting since I was 6. By spending A LOT of time with my Grandmother, I learned to crochet, sew, and cross-stitch. Just recently I learned to knit and punchneedle. I also like to make little figures out of clay (Pokemon are my favorite to make whee ) and I've done a bit of scrapbooking. One day, I hope to learn tatting. 3nodding

Besides crafting, I like to draw, read and play video games. But, unfortunately, school has deprived me of the time I would like to spend on my hobbies and crafts. crying I'm majoring in Liberal Studies to become a teacher and *hopefully* I will transfer to a UC this coming year.

Hey, I'm Nina. I'm a sophmore in art school who passes boring art history classes knitting with light up needles mrgreen I knit, and crochet (mostly knit because I have carple tunnel from crochet) and sometimes sew, but not well.
