^.^ We all have such interesting stories.
I use the Arthurian Tarot. To be honest it wouldn't have been my first choice, but they were a gift from my mother and so I love them. The art is beautiful too, and we seem to get along rather well. In fact they've been getting more and more accurate. I'm not sure if it's just me growing, or if we are more in tune. Either way, it's nice. ^.^
I also have Runes now (thanks to my mother again), but I haven't used them yet. I want to become familiar with each Rune in turn, and I also need a cloth for them when I use them.

Seldaara I'm not sure if it's just me growing, or if we are more in tune. Either way, it's nice. ^.^ In my experience, the more you use the cards, the more connected you become to them. You start to see things in the pictures that you never noticed before. They give you feelings, even visions. As you attune to the cards, they give you the knoweledge and experience you need to grow as a reader. So I think you're probably right on both counts! 3nodding

I'll definitely be sure to keep up with them. For a while I kept thinking of possibly getting another deck, but I just can't bear the thought of not using these ones.

I wonder how many of us have the Celtic Dragon Tarot deck. I have the version by DJ Conway. I get the most consistent readings with those. I have looked at the Shapeshifter Tarot, the Medicine Animal cards, and the Druid Animal Oracle. I get good results with those as well. Then again, sometimes a particular deck will just pull me towards it. I end up using that deck for that reading. My boyfriend is into using runes. He ends up with good readings that way. Also, another way of divination is to pay attention to the environment. If something in particular is calling out to you, like an increased number of stray cat sightings, think about those sightings. See if there is anything consistent between the sightings. That is also another way to get guidance.

Here they be. ^^ (sorry the top 2 are so blurry- otherwise the post would have been to image heavy) Seven of Pentacles, Hanged Man (my personal fav in the deck), and The Lovers  Two of Pentacles, Ace of Pentacles, and the Nine of Cups  Back of the cards

Same with the Chains(Devil) card. ^^ My favorite picture is death- for the same reason!! xd (hanged man and death are tied in my opinion. I quite like the hummor behind hanged man- once again, it doesnt scare people as much as normal that way). I also quite like the two of pentys.

Yue Halliwell I use Clow Cards for divination sweatdrop I use them a lot during spells and things (for the card significations). I just bless them and gave them identity and power.. and designed a way to do divination with them 3nodding I wanted that deck, I love the anime show!! my cousin has it, I am thinking about making a duplicate of it in my own style. I have been meaning to make own deck biggrin

I want to become familiar with each Rune in turn, and I also need a cloth for them when I use them. the color of the cloth can influence the runes, I think the best color is black to rid the runes of negative energy... that is how it starts out with my Chinese Tarot Deck, I first started using it for practice, and then my readings have been getting more accurate... here is a advice, do not do any readings you are uncomfortable with, because the reading may come out inaccurate or you will be stress out by the result...
