BackGround: Ryo lived with her father in a small village close to Kyoto, and when he didn't want her anymore, he shipped her off to an okiya and forgot about her. After realizing her father was never coming back for her, Ryo worked hard to become a geisha and repay her debt to the mother of the Kobayashi Okiya.

Thank you ^^)) Name: Sayuri Age: 15 Personality: Sayuri is a very kind and gentle person. At times she is very witty and outgoing. She cares for those around her, probably more than she should. She is also very smart and loving. Gender: Female Appernence: Rank: Maiko What house hold: Nitta BackGround: Formerly known as Chiyo, she was taken from her home at the age of 9 and sold to the Nitta Okiya. There, she met Pumpkin; at that time her only friend. Hatsumomo, who for some reason had become very jealous of Chiyo right from the beginning, made the little girl do her bidding, including things that got her into quite a bit of trouble and racked up a large debt for the little girl. After trying to runaway from the Okiya with her sister, she was made into a servant. One day as she was resting next to the Sunagawa river a kind man came up to her and basically told her to stand proud even if things seemed like they would never get better. From that day on she vowed to one day become Geisha to get closer to that man, The Chairman. At the age of 15, Mameha a famous Geisha in the Hanamachi came to take her under her wing and make her a Geisha. Believing that the young girl could clear all of her debts in the time of six months, she told Mrs. Nitta that she would cover all of Chiyo's schooling and expenses until after her debut. If Chiyo couldnt cover the payments of her debts and the expenses in that amount of time Mameha would pay "Mother" Twice over. And if she did erase her debt, Nitta would have no part in her future earnings. Chiyo's name was changed by her "Big Sister" to Sayuri, and she is now a young Maiko, well on her way to meeting the Chairman again. Thanks to her great will power and belief.

At the age of twenty-three, she had a young danna and before long retired to become an Okaa-san.
