I've got a good one.

Ok, When I was in the US Army, I was an Interrogator with a Security Level Clearance. Well, in the course of the job, you get Intelligence information that is pretty high level stuff. Well, I'd have to write up a report of everything the prisoner told me. Well, if the info is high level enough, once I'm done with it, I have to seal it with a Top Secret Clearence Cover sheet. This is where the fun starts. Once I'm done with that report, it's level of secrecy is higher than the clearence I have. So once I put that cover sheet on, I'm no longer allowed to look at the report that I typed up, under penalty of jail time.

Unlimited Soda refills, but NO free meals...
I finally remembered the time where I got a free meal.

I can't even remember which manager it was.

But anyway. I got another free 'meal' today.

I took home two dessert pizzas. rofl

Pistil
Jewels reminded me of a stupid rule for BOH at Pizza Hut (cooks, dishwashers):

If you're having fun, lazing around, or what not, someone gets sent home.

Okay, sounds like a good rule right? Because obviously there's too many people and not enough things to do.

Only thing is: usually the person who is working (ie ME) gets sent home. stare

ninja Me too. crying I hate that. I HATE HATE HATE THAT!

your not allowed to go on any other website aside from the ones that are work related... if you're caught you can get fired.

-yes i'm on gaia at work right now

they love me i have immunity. But it is still a stupid rule.

That and no food on the floor. But i get away with eating on the floor anyway. I think its because I supply my supervisors with candy.

At Griffith's, the rule is NO FOOD IN THE CUSTOMER AREA. But I've seen the assist. manager eat sundaes and dribble them onto the counters...

And at Wal-Mart you're not allowed to eat in the store while you're working. It sucks. But we do it anyway. and since I'm assisst. man. and I see someone doing it, I ignore it while they fumble to hide their candy. xd

There are a lot of rules that I hate at McDonalds. I understand why they're in place, but I still hate them.

- No visible body piercings/tattoos: This one I understand; it just doesn't look professional. But the girls with "religious" nose piercings are good to go, and I can't have my lip pierced? It's part of MY religion. (I'm not trying to insult anyone's religious practices, it just bugs me that there's a double standard.)
- No nail polish/fake nails: Again, understandable; it's a health issue. But I'm never able to paint my nails because I work at least every other day, and what's the point? Plus, the managers are allowed fake nails, even though they're handling the food as well. Again, double standard.
- No "unnatural" hair colour - My head, my hair, my rules. Why can't I have hot pink hair? If anything, it'll show up better if it falls in the food!
- No gum on the floor: This one I just ignore entirely. I'll spit it out if I get booked by a manager, but it's a stupid rule, and stupid rules are meant to be broken.

Some of the rules just seem overly...excessive.

okay, i also have the no eating at work thing, but there's another one that's just as bad.

No cameras, and no taking pictures of employees.

think it applies just to those of us hell-mart workers? no. a few sorority girls (note: would trade both my lungs for any one of them to go out with me) came in on a scavenger hunt and one of the things was to have a picture with a wal-mart employee. the manager overheard and said no because it was on store property.

and i gave him the allmighty symbol (index finger to the cheekbone, pinky finger extended...means mind your own...don't ask how, me and a friend invented it a long time ago and everyone i know uses it now.) and he said for me to go on break.

and they got their picture.

I could get fired from my current job if:

1) I sell stuff over the internet
2) I do a group presentation
3) I sell stuff in a booth in a mall and stuff like that

etc.
