I cried for Alfeegi but, not Kai-Stern. Kai-Stern's death was sad though.

I already knew about Alfeegi and Kai-Stern's deaths before I read manga. My friend spoiled the whole thing for me when she let me borrow Book 1. (It was kind of strange to know that they died when I didn't know who in the heck she was talking about...)
I had tears in my eyes when Alfeegi died. I was extremely attached to his wild temper and it hurt me to know that I wouldn't see him anymore except in flashbacks. Same goes for Kai-Stern. (He doesn't have a temper, however. I just miss him for those oh-so-random moments with Rath.) sweatdrop
I've heard rumors on the web about Alfeegi being ressurected. Has anyone else heard about it?

that is one of the reasons I hate rath. (the first is because he is a whiney baby) Kai-Stern was one of my favorate characters, only by influence of a freind who was obsessed with him, but he was a favorate none the less, I was thourouly pissed off when he died. I love the series, but seriously sometimes the Authoress gets on my nerves with all of her character developement, but I can see what she was getting to, so yeah.

Manda Uhm .... isn't that kind of a spoiler ^^; I don't think it really matters to anyone that's here right now ... since I'm pretty sure we've all read that far. But in the future, try not to put major spoilers in the post title. And also note that there are spoilers contained in the post. But ... to answer your question. Oh yea. I was crying. XD It was a spoiler from quite a ways back in the series though...Most people have probably read well past there... But I cried for him...I cried a LOT...he was my favorite character....mostly because he was the only one in glasses, but also because he admitted that he wasn't the strongest but still tried his hardest to do what was best for Rath and for the dragon kingdom...I cried almost as much for him as I did when they killed off Sirius in Harry Potter....(I'm talking like weeks of tears here...and I don't usually cry...I cry when my absolute favorite character or a drag queen dies....the drag queen because all their friends sit around after and can't decide whether to refer to them as a man or a woman...and for some reason that makes me cry like a sissy...)

I didn't cry for Kainstern. He was going to die either way. What better way to dai than dying for a friend?
And Cesia wasn't black Cesia when she revived Rath. But that doesn't make her evil. I think she knew the same thing I knew and later on passed it on to Rath.
She knew that kainstern was dying and she wanted to save him the suffering that her evil counterpart caused him. Her face is a bitter sweet reflection of what's happening. The place is falling into chaos, people are dying, but here she is making the promised of a camarade of hers true. She is giving new life to the person they both love and allowing Kainstern to live foward inside of Rath.
So, just for the record, Cesia is not a heartless b***h and Kainstern had a good death.

I don't remember WHY I did say that... looking back now it's crystal clear that she wasn't... guess I just had read a few (like 4 or so) volumes already when this topic came up, perhaps, perhaps not. Now even I think it's stupid how I could have thought she was Black there. o_o;;; psycofox I was thourouly pissed off when he died. I love the series, but seriously sometimes the Authoress gets on my nerves with all of her character developement, but I can see what she was getting to, so yeah. Don't be too upset about it, if you as an author need to kill someone off then you do. o_o; Even I would for the story to develope.... Oh, sorry. I AM going to in a presonal story/project of mine. ^^;

Even if it later left her a bad after taste she was noble enough to do it. Good is not the person who fights to keep the plug on, good the the person who pulls it off after the person dying asked for it. Also who can't be afraid of killing off characters. Sometimes it's good for the story. Besides I hope he stays dead. I hate it when death becomes meaningless in a story (cough)DBZ(cough)

And I can agree with you on that one about "what is a good person".
XDD Hasn't it already lost its meaning? *laughs* Gil, Vierres, NADIL. Haha. ^^ Hmn, who more has died and come back. ._. No more I think, bah.

And more people have come back, I'm sure because I made this joke in several ways to a friend before volume 21 was near. Rath. He's come back. Princess Menelini (or whatever her name) and I know that there's more people.

Oh yeah, her. Well, what would Memphis had done without their ruling queen? ^^;; The world was unstable enough, Ohkami thought and poor Euclid would have been alone. XD;; Actually, I think that those two are a mini/human Lykouleon and Raseleane. >.>
And Rath... doesn't count. XD;;; Because Cesia would bring him back many times over, she promised to not let him die, so...

I believe Rath has a whole section in the "Meaningless that is death" Heck, even if he's not alive we still get to see Alfy later on. XD It's funny how literal they take the whole "Death is not the end" deal. And I still think Eclid and Melenini need a lot of time before they reach the Lykky/Rase level. That's a level I hope to achieve when I get married. I want a guy with that same humor and sense of adventure.

Adventure? XD;; Yes! Let's go out and face almost certain death head on for our beloved when there's a whole nation and more depending on our survival. But yeah... I guess you could learn to love that too. Hee hee. No, enough joking on Lykouleon's cost. ^^ He's sweet enough.
Well, Alfeegi only comes back as a "watching spirit", he doesn't come back very alive, so to speak. >.>;;; XDD He stands on rooftops wearing big, black cloaks and talks. XD;; Oh, and his hair has grown. Like ALL dead guys' hair do in DK. XDD;;;;

It's like he quit and went to work with the dead ripper. xd
