Have you noticed that most (I say most, not all) of the related half os the school only have interested in ones who they are related too? Maybe not first or second cousins, but still probably slightly related in a way.
The fishing is usually done with net, which kind of rules the p***k on the end of a line out.

Then let me rephrase;
Fishing is a p***k with a net trying to catch fish.

They're only fish, it's not like netting them does any harm.

and_solo_said Fishing; a p***k on one end of a line, waiting for a prickk on the other. No, no, proper fishing. With nets and boats and deaths in a storm.

Last time then;
Fishing is a bunch of men alone on a ship 'catching fish'.
And to answer Invi's question; I don't like any blood sports.

Fishing isn't a blood sport, it's farming - food gathering.
And anyway, I fully support bloodsports.

Yeah, try telling a bunch of grimy, weatherbeaten, North-East fishermen in the middle of the freezing North Sea on a trawler, surrounded by nets and salt, rotting fish and seagulls, earning next to nothing anyway and having to throw half their catch back, dead and useless, because the government knows that we don't need the fishing industry anymore, that they are doing it for sport. whee

Pfft, inlanders. Isn't fishing the most dangerous job in the country or something? Maybe 2nd most after diving. Fishing is not angling. Which could be counted as a blood sport. But fishing is definately not sport.

Fishing: Biohazard.

and_solo_said Angling: What I was talking about.
Fishing: Biohazard. Angling is fine. Shooting is fine. Hunting down the occasional African Elephant with a .800 rifle, is also fine.
Overfishing is hazardous to the ecosystem. Fishing in itself is not.
Neither is a biohazard.

Fishing is a hazard to the biotic components of an ecosystem, especially whenn over-fishing occurs.

Neither is a biohazard.Don't agree with the elephant bit at all. If you feel like killing an elephant use a sword or a machete or a long stick but guns aren't fair. Some trawling is pretty bad for the ecosystem, the type when the nets hit the seafloor and mess everything up. But fishermen have to be able to make a living and fish has to come from somewhere. It's not all bad.
