The mushroom event had gone through quite...uneventful. Thankfully. No one was particularly pushy...and with Bardock flying off to god-knows-where, he didn't have to worry about not being able to handle anyone.
Flying off without explaining himself. Yeah, really great leadership.
One guy did push his way through the line, demanding to not only get fed early, but to get more than anyone else. Rensou prompted b***h-slapped him a few yards away, ensuring no more disturbances.
A few opted, it seemed, to sleep rather than take what little was available, which Rensou didn't mind. More food for the good ones, and for himself too. While not completely filling, they were rather tasty, he had to admit, after a while. After passing out everything, he looked around for some semblance of someone in charge. Finding none, he propped up on top of a nearby rock outcropping and just generally made sure nobody did anything stupid while Bardock was gone.
When the fearless leader DID return, he had something in tow. It's nice to know that Bardock was, in fact, thinking of the group when he returned with actual meet. The rush to get to it was as frantic as expected, but someone fought their way out of the crowd and brought Rensou a leg. He was very shocked, when he noticed it was the guy he had hit before. He didn't know if he was trying to apologize, or if he was trying to be a brown-noser. Rensou didn't care, truthfully, and took the meat. Using a brief flare of ki to heat it, he thanked the guy, shooed him off, and went to the ship to get out of the heat. Now that he was back, Bardock could finally look over his little rag-tag army.
As he went to enter the ship, he saw someone resting underneath a nearby outcropping of rocks. He walked over, nodding a greeting as he took a small bite of his leg. The flaring of ki had removed the small stench of the leg...but a rather fowl one emminated from hers. "If you heat it up a little bit...that smell will go away..." he said, speaking softly towards her.

She had been quite content in eating her food quietly, by herself. She revelled in the fact that she had time to herself and could have some of her own personal space out here, searing heat aside. It was a great change from the elbow-to-elbow space she had to live in back on Bejiita-sei. She stopped chewing and paused in her movements completely, idly gazing towards the ground in a moment of nostalgia and reminiscing. 'Alright, that's enough of that.' she shook her head and picked up the leg, happily taking another bite. It didn't really matter to her that her planet was gone. Sure, she lost some family, and the majority of her race, but it was the past- what could she about it? If she kept thinking about what happened before, she'd lose focus on just trying to survive now- which was a concept she figured some of the other people in this group still hadn't wrapped their minds around. But ah, to be alone... And then not. A young man walked towards her, nodding, and taking a seat not far from her. Her brow furrowed a little and she followed him with only her eyes as he walked past. Great, had she attracted other people to this place she had so dearly claimed as her own? (Well, she conveniently forgot the fact that Bardock had earlier been standing above her..) "Tch.." She spat to the side, turning her head towards the male and giving him a curt nod in response to show that she acknowledge his presence, but wasn't too happy about it. Oh well, what was she going to do? Expend effort and kick him out? ...nah. Food was a higher priority, whatever about him. He seemed to try to give her her space by sitting a bit aways, anyway... Movement in her peripheral vision caught her attention and she turned her head accordingly. Another one was coming her way? Aw, come on! It wasn't like she was a known, popular person here! What in the hells was bringing people now? Oh wait...this was the mushroom kid. 'Wonderful...' She gave another curt nod and immediately went back to her food. Now that she was completely focusing her attention on it... She scrunched her nose a little. What was that smell? Taking one indiscreet, quick sniff of her half-devoured foodsource, she sighed quietly. Just to add to her day... ZekeD "If you heat it up a little bit...that smell will go away..." he said, speaking softly towards her. And now he was going to tell her what to do? Whoa, now... With a grumble, she chose to just ignore him and continue eating in her silence. In fact, she did her best to just ignore both of their presences. Afterall, she had sat out here by herself to get AWAY from people, not invite them closer..

Bardock stretched out with his legs crossed at the ankles and chewed. The thing didn't taste as terrible as the smell on his hands would suggest. Then again maybe he was just hungry enough that the taste didn't matter. At any rate, he distracted himself from thinking too much about his stomach by watching the people around him.
They hadn't been running all that long but it was already apparent that they were beginning to separate themselves into little groups. The idea of replenishing the populace had already crossed some of their minds as well, though not necessarily because of a noble desire to perpetuate the race. It was natural to start checking the group for the available "talent," Bardock mused philosophically taking another bite. He'd found himself doing it just out of boredom the last few days. It kind of made him feel young and on the prowl again.
Grinning, the warrior stripped the oddly shaped leg bone of what little flesh was left and leaned back against the rock he'd taken shelter by. With a semi-loud belch he tossed the naked limb behind his head and ignored the yelp of pain that came shortly afterwards. Guy should have ducked.
Some of the troops were already working the crowd. One cute little thing was flirting madly with the guys around her as she ate, batting her eyelashes here, smiling sweetly there... That was probably how she'd always been, now that he thought about it, but it was pretty clear that she'd have her pick of the litter if she wanted it. Others like his newly appointed second in command were taking the "go screw yourself" route of socializing. It was pretty obvious she wanted to be left alone (which had kind of made Bardock NOT want to leave her alone earlier) but some of the men in the group has other ideas. He could almost picture her shooing the Mushroom guy away with a testy hand. The warrior made a mental note to go pester her with second-in-command / sub-leader-ish orders later.
Shifting his big body, Bardock put his hands behind his head and let his eyelids droop a bit. All this heat and boredom combined with a full.... well, more full than before, belly was making him sleepy. Through lazy eyes he noticed that he was getting his own share of admiring looks, though that could just be gratitude for providing the next meal.
.....
Nah! He was dead sexy and that was all there was to it. It was the scar. Women loved the scar. Made him look rugged. Ah, hormones...
Rolling his eyes in self-depreciating amusement he yawned and smacked his lips. He knew better than to think too much about that garbage. Now that they were "free" of the old ideas of how things worked people would be able to pick and choose how their lives would turn out for themselves. Still, it was fun to watch the others begin to form their own little mini-Vegita-sei society. Maybe they would start making little Saiya-jin brats to fill out the population. Then he'd have more mouths to feed...
...
... Joy.

Saika_Kitera_Bejiita "Tch.." She spat to the side, turning her head towards the male and giving him a curt nod in response to show that she acknowledge his presence, So she wasn't the most friendliest of people, but at least she wasn't trying to kick him away. That was a plus. He gave a grunt, letting her know he wasn't up for bugging her. He was hungry, and had food. A quiet(er) place to eat was all he wanted, and the outcropping of rocks was the best location. Of course, that calmish atmosphere was instantly smashed with the approaching presence of another male. ZekeD "If you heat it up a little bit...that smell will go away..." he said, speaking softly towards her. Hah..? Oh, so that's where the smell was coming from. Whatever. It was food, and that's all that mattered to Brasshil. Deciding to ignore the other two now, he continued to eat his share of the buggy animal-thing. ((This post is le crappy. Have fun with it. ))

"You know what I love best about this group?" Rensou said, standing up with a grumble. "Everyone is so god damn friendly. It's so great!" He gave out an extremely loud, fake laugh, sneered, and stormed off away from the two.
This little escape journey was just getting worse and worse as the days progressed. There was no teamwork, no camaraderie. If they were to stand any chance of both escaping the Icejins, finding a new home, and saving their race...they were going to have to learn to work together. Unfortunately, not something that Saiyajins were known for. Being smart, getting along...folllowing a plan...
ARG!
'Why did I agree to do this?' He shouted in his head, angry at himself for going along with it all.
'Oh yeah. The alternative was death. Hrm...looks like I'm stuck...' Stuck, of course, making him even more mad at the hole situation. He hated being forced into situations...and even more so when he had no real alternative.
"I'm in a bad position if I stay here...but at least it's better than being out in space alone. What can I do to get these ******** to work together?" He sighed, taking another bite out of his diminishing food. "I just hope Bardock knows what he is doing...I just hope he can pull these people together. Or we are all doomed..."
