FaithHopeLove lynx wings The actress who played Kaylee (Jewel Something) was Heidi on Wonderfalls. She was a little bit evil. Nathan Fillion was Caleb on Buffy. Why are Serenity actors always evil? I thought I saw Nathan Fillion in an episode of House, but I checked his IMDB profile, and it's not there, so I guess it was just someone who looked like him. you're right! Most that I can think of have played at least one evil role on some other show. only one i know for sure hasn't is River. (the only other thing i've actually seen her in is an Angel episode, but i've read a list of her filmography and none of her roles are evil ones.) I missed that. Who was she? EDIT: Looked it up. She was the prima ballerina in that Angel episode where they went to the ballet. Not evil. Also, Wash was in A Knight's Tale. He was one of Heath Ledger's side kicks. His hair was a different color. I think.

Maybe they were all evil on Buffy/Angel because all the good character's spots had been filled?
Also, whatshisname from The Message played a vampire in Buffy. I forget the name though...
I think Jayne also played someone in Buffy. Possibly the judge that they shot with a rocket launcher?

I forget the name though... I think Jayne also played someone in Buffy. Possibly the judge that they shot with a rocket launcher? You're right about the guy from the message. Jonathan M. Woodward also played Holden 'Webs' Webster in the ep "Conversations with Dead People." I think (but I'm not sure) that he was the vampire who recognized Buffy from high school. They had a conversation and then she staked him. It was kind of sad. He's currently in The Notorious Bettie Page. Both actors were on Angel. Adam Baldwin (Jayne) was Hamilton, and Johnathan M. Woodward (Tracey, the soldier who mailed himself to the crew) was Knox. According to IMDB, Inara (Morena Baccarin) has also been on the O.C. and Stargate SG-1. And she voiced The Black Canary in the Justice League.

This isn't quite Serenity-related but it's Joss related.
I was watching a movie tonight that I've seen many, many times but I just realized that I recognized an actor from it. I don't know if any of you have seen the movie "First Knight" but it's a story about King Arthur, Guenevere, and the knights of the round table. Sean Connery is King Arthur, Julia Ormond is Guenevere, and Richard Gere is Lancelot. Anyways, I was watching and I saw (very briefly) that Alexis Denisof (aka Wesley) plays Sir Gaheris! I couldn't believe it!

haha, so did I! I can't remember what the show is either! I was freaking out at the time too. I kept yelling "Zoe, it's Zoe!" Everyone else in the room was like, "okay" stare haha, it was funny.
Oh, and Adam Baldwin was in the last few episodes of Angel as Eve's replacement. He became the immortal that was the liason between Angel and the senior partners of Wolfram and Hart. boy, he played a very different character. very cordial even though he was evil.

Another joss-but-not-serienty related actore, Nichole Brendan (xander from Buffy) was in a movie that i saw the beginning of. Now, this movie was on tv at 12:30 at night and followed "Pultergise III" so that has to tell you that it's not gonna be movie up to his standards. Then I hear the title..."Pinata: Survier Island" and I just keep thinking to my self (inbetween the fits of laughter at the movie title) why oh why did he ever sign up for a movie with that title? So I sit down and watch the first ten minutes of it. I mean, maybe it really is good. Well, the entire intro is about how this tribe put their sins into a pinata and then it got struck by lightning and the narator says, "as long as no one disturbs the sin-filled pinata" and im laughing so hard at that line. So I was tired so I went to bed and the next morning I looked it up online and the movie is about how that pinata comes to life and kills people. Nicholes deserves so much better! Wow, long tangent. Sorry redface

i found out the name of the show that will have Gina Torres in (it's the show we were all freaking out about when was saw its commercial on TV.) It's called Stakeout.

Found a movie synopsis:
I don't like to answer that question in a few words because a quick synopsis wouldn't justify the depth of the film. Yes, it has some HORROR (for the horror fans). Yes it has lots of ACTION (for the action fans). Yes, there is a LOVE STORY (for the romance fans). And mainly, YES, there are CREATURES (something you haven't seen so far, ladies and gents)!
Here we go, the basic pitch:
After a devastating boat crash, a group of friends is stranded on an uncharted island where they encounter an ancient tribe of humanoid creatures.
Who the hero is and how she or he survives will not be revealed in this blog to not spoil the story. i hope you understand.
