Very quickly Yun's claws were not tapping on the stone balcony, and his vision was obscured utterly by a blanket of whiteness.

Katashi had reached down and swept the little creature up by the head, holding it in an impossibly white, clean handkerchief. He kept it out at arm's length with an expression of great distaste.

It was at that moment Auren chose to move into her living-room. When her gaze fell upon Katashi, he asked, his voice more calm than his face, "Is this yours?"

((Haha, yeah, sorry. Bad post, interfering with other people's characters.... I should be kicked out of the guild! ))

"Jeep!" Yun cried as he was swept off his feet, finding his vision rather white. He wriggled about, his claws raking through the air in a vain attempt to catch his attacker, and flapped his wings vigorously. After one or two seconds, however, the little dragon went limp and dangled by his head. Perhaps the tale about obscuring an animal's vision calmed them almost instantly was true. But then again, it was Yun. Yun was hardly a normal dragon.

((I hope my other posts have made up for this less than wonderful one o.<

And I assumed in the post that Katashi had opened the balcony door or something since he was talking to her. I think she shut it before. I don't remember.))

Auren heard her balcony doors sliding open as she crossed her bedroom, heels clicking much louder than she expected across the hardwood. Something made her wonder what was wrong. Katashi's presence she could tell but else was there? Auren rounded the corner, stepped down into the living room, and stopped sharply. She caught sight of Katashi and her questions were answered. The naga's brows furrowed as she walked closer, observing the creature being held at arm's length.

"Is this yours?"

"No. There's a very strict no-pet policy in the building."

Being naga, Auren had very well known, even by scent, that this creature was not simply some poor worried owner's escaped pet. This was not how she expected to start the evening, but Liberation work in general was rarely too predictable.

Yun's tail flicked gently underneath him, giving a rather dark look behind the white handkerchief. A small growl came from within the white material, the small dragon wanting to see what was going on once more. He pondered on whether to become vicious and strike out with his small claws, but then he remembered that he couldn't see anything - so that pretty much put every plan down the drain.

A little whimper-like noise then sounded from the white handkerchief.

((Heh, I did say that my post was awful. It was written in five minutes between classes >.< My image was with the doors still closed -- I recall you making a point of having closed them -- feh. This one isn't too crash-hot either, I'm afraid...))

"There's a strict no-pet policy in the building," Auren pointed out.

"I thought so."

He returned his attention to the slivery creature as it whimpered, and began turning it about to examine it from every angle, while still keeping it at arm's length. Yun was twisted fairly roughly about as he was moved through various degrees of rotation and inclination.

Katashi moved his hold from Yun's head to the end of his tail. Holding the creature at eye level, he more stated than asked, "you can speak, can't you."

The little dragon peered at Katashi for a few seconds, dangling limply from his tail with the exception of his head that he held up a bit to peer at him. "Jeep jeep jeep-jeep!" he chirped angrilly, almost like a bird, and wriggled about with legs and arms flailing. He didn't apreciate his tail being held.

His wings fluttered about, the small dragon's body twisting and turning as far as his own tail would allow, going round and round the hand that held him without actually clawing savagely at the skin of the hand. Yet. He wasn't a violent creature at heart, avoiding to hurt things and objects unless it was inadvertedly or involved his life or something shiny. Although when provoked enough he would strike out to end his frustration. A good conscience and a lot of patience.

After a while of this manic flitting about that got him nowhere the dragon flopped limply once more, hanging from his tail with a rather defeated look. It was then that the small dragon began to grow, its head changing shape. The rest was then hidden by a flash of light. As it died down there was an audiable thump! on the stone of the balcony floor. This was then followed by a rather pathetic whimper.

What had once been the little dragon was what appeared to be a man, a rather short man really. He had a long tail, much like the small dragon, with a wispy-like end that was gently flicking about. Feet resembled the back feet of the small dragon, just a lot bigger with bigger claws, and the man's hands were almost the same just a little more human-like with slender fingers. A head of highly messy and silvery hair adorned his head that was face-down on the floor. Grey robes covered his body, loose clothing that fluttered slightly in the wind.

Slowly, Yun pushed himself up with a slightly pained look on his face. His left hand was held over his stomach, clutching the material that covered it tightly. Apparently he had winded himself for his breaths were gasped and difficult. After a few seconds he recovered and pulled a face before tilting his head up to peer almost dumbly up at Katashi and Auren. He was silent.

((Okay. Maybe I just got confused about the door thing x.x I just assumed it was open since they were talking. It shall officially be open until further notice. xD ))

Auren stopped, one slender foot and thin high heeled shoe dangling off the door way as she leaned against it and watched. She was curious. The small dragon didn't appear to be doing anything aggressive as far as she could tell. So why was it here? Maybe she was too far into the Liberation to think in any other terms. Not everything was connected to BSPA, was it? Yet so far his interruption had ironically succeeded in doing more than any BSPA personnel had done towards stopping their mission.

Before the flash of light, Auren looked to Katashi, "We can't.." As the dragon began to change, her words lost their meaning. She had wanted to suggest they didn't have time, but it was starting to look like they did.

At first, Auren had found it hard to watch others change. That had been a very long time ago when she herself couldn't shift well. Now however, shifting was something more natural than running or picking up the paper. She waited calmly as the man caught his breath and the driving wind picked up. The naga took a deep breath. At least her annoyance and confusion were keeping her curiosity and that itching to connect to a deeper side at bay. How long had it been since she shifted? Killed?

Auren tapped her nails, one by one, quickly across the glass of the door before pushing her body off the door frame. "Maybe we should move this party inside at least?"

Yun quickly scampered away from Katashi, claws rapping against the floor in an uneven beat. He quite pointedly sat away from them both, holding his tail and almost giving the man a pout as he seemed to pet his own tail. He didn't like his tail being held.

Then Auren spoke, "We can't.." - Yun had no idea what that meant, perhaps they were speaking in code about him. Not that he minded, just so long as he could pilfer shiny things. He liked shiny things, doing basically anything to get them. Yun then promptly went into a world of his own at the mention of shiny things in his mind, daydreaming about his shiny horde in his little 'cave' at the top of a really high building.

"Maybe we should move this party inside at least?" the woman spoke again, pulling the dragonboy back to reality. He blinked at her, only understanding we and move. Briefly wondering what she meant, he contemplated. She was seemingly talking about all three of them, and moving somewhere. She was standing beside a doorway with dreaded glass. Move inside the building? Why not. She seemed to be wanting them to. And so Yun quickly bolted for the door, bounding forward on all fours with his tail snaking behind him. Perhaps she had shiny things inside.

Katashi dropped the dragon as it started to shift and took one precise step backward, watching the whole process with a certain degree of distate through half-hooded eyes, while absently wiping his hands on a new handkerchief.

Katashi's nostrils flared slightly with displeasure as the creature's humanoid form was revealed, but did not move, aside from to keep scrubbing at his hand with the handkerchief.

A muscle in his jaw tightened as the creature scampered backward, holding its own tail in its hands.

"Maybe we should move this party inside, at least?" Auren suggested. Before Katashi could even draw breath to reply, the dragon-boy had made its decision, and skittered past Auren through the door.

Katashi went to follow, then remembered the umbrella. Turning back to look where it had ended up, he found it lying on the floor, where he had dropped it to grab the little dragon.

The floor.

So much for that idea.

Slightly despondently, he followed them inside.

Yun happily hopped about the room, remaining in a crouched position pretty much all of the time. It was so pretty and everything was distracting to the little dragonboy. The floor had a sheen to it, and that sent him hopping about and chasing his own reflection for a while, slipping about with his nose pressed against the floor.

His small and happy little smile never left his face.

Auren watched, almost laughing at the turn of events, as the dragonboy headed off around the room. This wasn't quite what she expected. What was he doing now, chasing his reflection? So maybe they would have been better off locking him on the balcony and leaving. Better off until her neighbors found him around their building at least.

Or would that really be so bad? Another thought came to mind. Liberation wanted more people to be aware of beings other than humans. This incident might not be so worthless after all.

Auren crossed quickly over to the door and cracked it enough to look down the hall. The good thing with big several room apartments is that not many can fit on a floor. Less neighbors, less trouble. The hall was empty as usual. Auren smiled at the sight of a freshly polished stone tile hallway. This would entertain the dragon. She opened the apartment door wide and tried again.

Auren spoke clearly like before and motioned, "Let's go out this way." The dragon could roam the top floor and find plenty of shiny things and reflections. And Auren could make it to the elevator, or at least the stairs, with Katashi. The first set-back of the evening would then hopefully be past them.

The boy gave an almost squeal-like noise as the door was opened, launching his light frame through the door. His shoulders and head hit the opposite wall before he scrabbled about the shiny floor, his claws offering no grip on the smooth surface. His wings, once hidden within the folds of his robes, spread out in an attempt to steady him, bashing against the floor and the walls about him as he continued to scrabble about on the floor.

At first it would have seemed as if he had been flustered and fighting something, but with a closer look at his grinning face, it was evident that this was not the case. He was having fun chasing his reflection - just image what he would be like with a mirror. He'd want to try and take the entire floor to his cave. There was only a few pieces of jewellry he had managed to pilfer and a shard of glass he had found.

He was making quite a noise now, claws rapping against the flooring in an uneven beat and sometimes scraping across the smooth surface, scratching some of the polish off and scratching the tiles underneath. Auren and Kakashi were now totally forgotten.

By this point, a tiny muscle in the edge of Katashi's lower left eyelid had begun to twitch in time with Yun's skittering claws. The handkerchief he had used to hold the little dragon had been left in Auren's kitchen bin, along with the one he had been scrubbing his hands with. Another had been produced from goodness knows where to take its place, and he was absently wringing it between his hands as he watched the little dragon-boy.

He had said nothing since they had come inside, and he still remained silent now.
