Nisori
I haven't checked FaQ yet but I was wondering if threads are not being displaid correctly for everyone, or if its just me.

There have been problems all over the place. I've been getting errormessages just about everywhere. Could not connect to and Critical errors. Don't really know what's going on, but it's not only you wink

Cool sig. btw.

Eh... Does this green hair clash with my top hat?

That's not it. OK! How can I figure out the BPM from each song? What song is it you might ask. That part doesn't matter, but if it does matter, take Kontakt's - Show Me a Sign for example. Does it depend on speed or the jump thumping action? Unce unce unce? Thanks in advance. wink

I have a question about gaia. Are there other art competitions than anime? Like photo manipulations?

Another question that have been bugging me for a while, and is actually music-related:

What is the difference, if there is any difference, between Gabber and Hardcore Techno? I was pretty sure they were the same, but after reading some of the posts about these genres I'm not so sure anymore...

Gabber is a bit different in that it's a bit faster than HcT, and it tends to have god awful raspy lyrics.

Okay, I've got a question. I posted it on the Electronica forum and no one could give me a real answer:

Why is almost all electronica in 4/4? I've found perhaps six pieces total that are not in 4/4, five of them being O Fortuna remixes.

I know that 4/4 is the most natural (maybe) but still, Trouble With Fractions, a piece that I'm in the middle of composing, works just fine once the first few measures pass and your brain gets adjusted to the time signature.

Maybe I'm just weird.

because the majority of electronic music is made to be spun.

4 4 is the general standard, making all types of music easily mixable.

Not yet. gonk I've been spending too much money in the first weeks of summer, but I might just have to indulge myself with Christian Bale if I get a chance.
