"alright!" River smirked and clapped her hands. touching the ground she managed to find an underground river. she spun aorund as she pulled the water up, creating a huge wave. pushing forward she sent it rolling towards Roy as she pull up even more water and formed it into a whip. she charged right behind the water at full speed towards her oponent.

River was closing in and still gaining speed as she used the remaining water to give her a boost and help her glide along. she was concentrating and determined to win or atleast hit him once again and then maybe win and blow up his car..... again.

Roy's eyes widened slightly as he faced the oncoming stream of water, taking an involuntary step back. He ducked to one side narrowly avoiding River's attack and rolled into a crouch before clashing his hands together causing sparks to rain down from his gloves. Before the sparks had touched the ground, his array lit up again, igniting the sparks into large flames by suddenly gathering a large amount of oxygen in the surrounding area and thrust his arms out with both palms facing outward, sending another flamethrower like attack at the Water Alchemist.

River flipped over the flames and Roy, expecting it this time. still in the air she lashed her whip out at Roy while sending another surge of water toward him.

Melody watched all of their techniques.-Wow they're good.-Melody thought while nodding her head at the move River had made and the last attack Roy had done.

Roy snapped his fingers once more, a reflex more than anything as he stumbled back a bit, sending a rather unusually large bomb to explode at a rather close distance from himself in an effort to keep from getting wet. The Colonel had barely enough time to raise his arms over his face as the explosion went off, sending bits of rock and gravel flying throughout the area and surrounding the two of them in a thin mist of white steam clouds made from the impact of the two opposing elements.
Alright.. I've had enough of this. He thought, his eyes narrowing slightly. He could no longer afford to stay on the defensive through the remainder of this battle. Now the real show would begin.
Without so much as a warning, Roy snapped his fingers in rapid fire succesion, sending minor but harmful explosions around the Water Alchemist.

River immedeatley put up a water sheild and waited for the raining fire to stop. she'd use her favorite. freezing the ground all the way to Roy, she the created another water whip and froze it. she pushed off and started to slid and shifted the ice to giver her speed. she pointed the sharp edge at him. feet away she pushed off and flipped towards him. *let's see him stop this* she thought to her self. she suddenly stopped her self mid air and pushed back in to a bck flip as the ice spear shattered into pieces. the sharp ice crystals raced towards him as River landed and slid on the ice close to the ground towards his feet.

River used some of the ramianing water and spun it around, clearing the area for her. she shot out of there and got a nice disatance behind Roy. she knew there probably wouldn't be much of a chance but if she was going to lose, she might as well lose with a fight. she dogded everything thrown at her making it out with a few small burns while she worked at little ice bombs. after that she threw them high in the air, so they'd come down when it was critical, however it would only work if she didn't mess it up this time. creating ice all around them she made two ice spears and started to move in, dogding and picking up speed.
"okay, lets not mess up this time!" she told herself as she started forming and ice whip and a bigger ice bomb. the smaller ones were now falling towards Roy and River was closing in fast.

The mysterious man walked to where the commotion was and watched in silence as the two alchemists battled it out. "Hmph...another match. Might as well watch and see who wins." He stood there as he kept the wind from reaching him by slightly manipulating the air around him so he wouldn't get cold.

Raising the ice underneath her like stairs, she launched herself into the air and dropped the ice spears and the ice bomb as the smaller ones came down. flippeing over she landed and slid around to face Roy, lashing out with the whip. "Catch this!"
