Leth sat on the slate-tiled roof marvelling over tonight's prizes. The two fleeces were perfect matresses, and the silk would make lovely scarves. She thought of the delight Cael and Bryoni would have on their little faces once they saw their new gifts. She regretted having to leave them in the attic on their own. But Cael promised her to look after Bryoni whilst she was away.

The gold from the merchant's pouch was enough for food for the next few days. But was it enough for a room at an inn too? The splintering wood of the floorboards in the old building was far too hazardous for the twins, and if they ever got hurt. Leth remembered back to when she first found them, scared and confused as she pulled them away from the burning cart. Why were they there in the first place? It was nearly a year ago now. casting her thoughts away from that, she realised the cold chill of wind that was coming across Ilia. She had to get back soon.
Leaping across the rooftops like a nimble cat, she quickly slipped out of sight.

Herald waited inside a old run down barn, waiting for the storm to be over.
it was cold and dreary, and yet Gabriel was having the time of his life, or so Herald assumed. There he was, covered in hay to conserve heat. When his wyvern, for whom he had taken the time to plan ahead and make a lodging for him. Had suddenly decided to change his sleeping patterns, and sleep during the day. Which left Herald in a horrible position. His Wyvern slept in the day, while herald searched for mercenary work, and if he tried to sleep, his Wyvern would suddenly appear and expect him to either feed, or praise him on his night hunting.

So naturally Herald was a little cranky as of late. Which unfortunately, cost him many jobs. the Doors to the barn swung open bringing with it a flurry of snow and cold. along with it, a wyvern. Of which promptly dropped down next to Herald as if the cold didn't bother him at all. "Great... he's changing his... sleeping...sleep..."

User ImageThe sun was rising over the plains. Now traced in gold, the tall grass swayed in the wind. Zephr's eyes slowly opened to Hare reading a book in the grass, and Ryu sitting in the branch of a tree. He sat up, stretched and looked to Hare. "Hare, when is breakfast?"

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Without looking up from his book Hare replied with, "That is what Ryu and I should be asking you."

"What? Hare what do you mean?" Zephr was clueless.

User ImageRyu glanced at Zephr, "...He means that it's your turn to find food." Ryu jumped down from the branch he was sitting on. "....We take turns gathering food when or supplies run out or to a point where they are simply emergency rations..." He walked off began to walk off, "....I'm going to scout the area...."

User ImageHare waved his hand but his eyes stayed on the pages of his book.

Zephrs stomach was out of control...he laid back down and shut his eyes once more.

Hours passed, and Zephr slept soundly. Ryu had returned a short time ago with fresh meat and water.

User ImageRyu looked to Hare, "....Are you sure that we should keep protecting him like this...."

User ImageHare put down his book for the first time that day. He sighed, "I believe so Ryu."

User ImageRyu's voice grew deeper with angst, "...But he is after you...." His gave met Zephrs body, "....I don't want to wind up alone out here..." Ryu's gaze averted back to Hare, "...Got that..."

User ImageHare smirked and laughed to himself, "I will take full responsibility Ryu. I will not let him become a burden to either of us, I can guarantee that."

User ImageRyu turned and made his way back up the tree. As he positioned himself in his perch he calmly whispered, "..It's your head Hare....Or the head of the world....I don't want you dead....."

User Image"Thank you Ryu."

User ImageWith that Ryu's eyes closed and he drifted into the depths of his mind.

Isilra walked through the snow filled streets of Ilia, looking everywhere to find an inn. She needed to find somewhere to stay; she couldn't stay out in this much longer. It wasn't as if she wasn't used to snowstorms. Her village was just outside Ilia, and had snowstorms almost as frequently as Ilia itself. She wasn't used to travelling through them; though. Her travelling cloak was near saturated; melted snow was seeping through the hood and dampening her hair, making her feel even colder. The snow was ruining her bow; if she were to stay out much longer the iron would rust if the wood didn't rot away first. If she didn't find an inn soon, her bow would be ruined and she couldn't afford a new one.
It was late at night, and so dark Isilra could barely see in what was in front of her. When she saw a light shining in the street up ahed, she began to hope for the best.
"It has to be an inn, it just has to be!" she said to herself as she began to run towards the light. When she got to the door, she pulled her hood down excitedly so she could see what the sign outside said. As soon as she read it, Isilra's hopes were ruined. The sign read "inn", but another sign propped up casually against the window read "No Vacancies". She may as well have stayed outside and looked around for a little longer, but Isilra decided to go inside and ask around; see if there was anyone who knew of another inn that she could stay at.
As Isilra walked into the inn, her bow got stuck in the door. People turned around to look, and once they did, she could sense that they wouldn't take their eyes off her for a while. She'd been getting that all day-people weren't used to seeing archers in Ilia, home of pegasus knights. She felt out of place, and people in the streets would look upon her as some sort of threat. It wasn't just the bow that caught their attention though-Isilra knew this well. Her long, unruly, lilac hair had broken free of its bonds and was now sticking out all over the place. Her eyes were a startlingly bright shade of chestnut brown; so bright that they were almost red. Despite her almost demonic eyes, she still had a sense of vulnerability about her. Isilra ignored all of the staring people, and walked casually up to the bar and ordered one glass of ale. As she was waiting for it to come, she sat on one of the barstools and turned to talk to one of the citiziens, hoping to find out where she could find another inn to stay the night. When all she got was a funny look, she decided to wait for her ale to come then ask around the rest of the room a little.
"Thanks!" she said to the bartender, and tossed him a coin when her drink arrived. She knew she was a little young to be drinking, but it was a cold night and she needed something to warm her throat. Once she had finished off her ale, she began to ask around the room. She singled out all of the groups of drunks as people to avoid. They wouldn't give her a straight answer, or if they did it the words would most likely be so slurred together that they would barely be comprehendable. She walked over to an enigmatic young woman sat in the corner of the room.
"Excuse me, would you please be able to tell me where I can find an inn with vacancies?" Isilra asked, making herself look as vulnerable as possible. She thought that if she made herself look needy enough, people would have pity on her and maybe travel with her to the inn.
"Look, don't make yourself sound any stranger than you already are, ok? The next inn is just around the corner from here. If there isn't any room there, keep on going then turn down the second street on the left, and you should find an inn there. I'd hope that the first place has vacancies though-you wouldn't last a minute in that second place." Despite the rude comments she received from the woman, Isilra thanked her and headed out of the door, the choking smell of tobacco smoke in her clothes and the bitter taste of ale in her mouth.

Lise was in a bit of a pickle right now. She really wanted Theo to show up, a bit oblivious to how hard something like that might be. She certainly could not abbandon her plans just because he wasn't here, but she could only think of how disappointed he would be to be left behind... As of now, Lise decided perhaps she should just tell Harmony what's going on, and hopefully Theo would show up soon.

"Harmony, two days ago, I recieved this letter," She revealed a letter which bore the Eturian royal seal on it. The seal was already torn, because Lise had opened it before. She took out a single sheet of paper, "This is from Darius, one of my best friends from Eturia. He's... this is what it says:" Lise turned the paper so Harmony could see it as she read from it.

Lise, something terrible has happened in Eturia. The ArchBishop has taken control of the throne, and has also imprisoned my father, the king. He ruthlessly taxes the people and executes anyone who doesn't pay. He allows nobody to come or go from Eturia, so the people are trapped. I managed to escape and I dearly wish to stop him. This is selfish, but I am asking for your aid. The neighboring nations are too caught up in politics and are waiting too long to take action. If you agree to help me, I will be forever in your debt. Please, I beg of you to lend me your support. Also, do not tell anyone about this. Ilia has stood neutral about this and will only try to stop you if you tell them. If you decide to help, I wish you good speed and good luck.

Lise stopped reading.

I am just throwing in bits and pieces of Rayin, nothing really important just little info.

Rayin stared out at the setting sun. He prayed for freedom. He was locked up and was a slave, but the owners gave up keeping him chained, he would break through with his voulge. He wore his mask because many slaves died trying to steal it from him. He despised reckless killing but this was the only way he was allowed into society. A tear fell from his eye and landed on the unmarked grave below him. The one person who actually took care of him was blind and was killed for having him in her protection. Rayin sat down and crossed his legs as he watched the free flying birds travel toward the horizon.

Fie came running onto Terra's room. Terra was alarmed by Fie's nervousness and followed her to the gate. There, she saw Darius. She recognized him even through the scum, blood and dirt he was covered in. She knew running from Etruria to Ostia would be hard work. She personally led him inside and into her room.

Sit. You need to rest. Fie, make some of your tea and bring your Mend staff.

The young troubador ran off and was back in 5 minutes.

Hi! I am Fie! Fie of course was just trying to become friends with Darius.

Fie! There is no time for that! Darius, what has happened in Etruria exactly. So many of our spies have been found and silenced, we have not gotten information for a month. There will be no need to rush, our best course of action would be to ally ourself with the other nations.

Fie healed Darius and sat down so she could listen to Darius's story.

Darius was led into the room by Terra. He gasped for breath, worn out from the journey. He listened as he was being healed by Fie, and gasped as the huge scab on his right arm (from hitting a rock in the moat) was instantly healed. Not a scratch. He coughed a bit as he rubbed his arm.
"Thanks for the tea, first of all." He chuckled and raised his glass to Fie. "Nice work." He took a sip and sighed.
"Well, where should I start? Eturia has been taken over by the Arch Bishop Emingard. My father has been held prisoner by him for a while now, and I managed to escape mostly by luck. It was not easy, but I knew I had to get Ostia's help. I was hoping you could get the Ostian army to come help me get Eturia back. Emingard has instituted a dictatorship and the people are depending on me... So, what say you?" He sighed again and ruffled his matted hair. Oh boy, he sure needed a bath. He stunk, too.

((OOC: the link for Hare's mug shot is "http://tinypic.com/fjgc36.png"))

The sun was setting and the sky was in a blaze of flame. The group hadn't moved at all that day because of Zephr. The young lord hadn't awoke since Ryu went off.

User Image"....Hare....Get the fool up...."

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Hare looked to Ryu, "Ryu, you don't have to be so cold towards him," Hare's voice grew soft, "He is a child you know."

User ImageHearing that infuriated Ryu. The words, "I DON'T CARE IF HE IS A CHILD!", were thrown at Hare with angst.

User ImageZephr lay in the grass sleeping peacefully. He was dreaming about his home. It had been so long since he had slept under a familiar ceiling. He longed for familar faces.

User Image"Ryu! Stay calm, we have no time for this!" With those words said hare drew his sword. His blade came out effortlessly from it's sheath, as if it was bonded to Hare.

User ImageRyu leapt from the tree as it was bombarded with arrows. He fell to the ground and rolled twice until he clutched the earth with his free hand. He had his weapons ready. He stood up, as if daring the bow-men to fire at him, "....Hare...Give me time and I'll get used to the child...." With that Ryu ran towards the six bow-men.

User ImageHare realized what Ryu had said, and the without thinking ran after him. He intentionally kicked Zephr as he made his way into the fray.

Zephr awoke abruptly, "Hey! what do yo-" just then an arrow flew past him. "s**t!" He drew his blades and charged after hare and Ryu, "Why didn't you tell me we were under attack!?"

User ImageHare didn't even look back as he said, "Just move!" with that he called a bolt of thunder and struck one of the enemy dead.

User ImageBy that time Ryu was in front of a bow-man and thrust his blade into the fool stomach and used the body as a shield. ".....You all want to die....Then let me send you to the river sticks....

((Lol he wrote styx as sticks... no disrespect. If the sun has begun to rise in Sacae, it's like Early morning in Ilia right? It's like time zones...))

Herald awoke from his slumber, it had been a nice dream, and he was saddened to have to open his eyes and enter the 'real' world again, the snowstorm of the previous night was still blowing, but at least not that much any more. "Gabriel, wake up..." He groaned, rubbing the last remnants of sleep from his eyes. Gabriel, let out a sleepy growl, which Herald ignored "G'it up" He commanded putting his boot under the stubborn wyvern's head and tilting it upward. Gabriel's eyes' opened. And he let out a long drawn out sigh and/or hiss. Slowly he began to standup on his weary claws. Herald opened The Barn door, and hitched in a deep breath as the brisk air hit him. To his surprise, he thought he heard the sound of voices in the distance...

((When do you think your going to move Lise & Harmony?/When is Brolem appearing with Theo? Because i don't want Ilia to be in forever knight/paused during the night time.))

Terra had the maid lead Darius to the bathing room and she and Fie waited for him in the dining room.

Fie. Why would Emingard take over the throne. Something does not add up. I can say that our army is not ready or nowhere strong enough to take over Etruria. We must take Etruria slowly and attack their colonies. We might need to go to Bern for help and Sacae.

Fie nodded.

I'll help! Don't you worry! With me we'll definitely win!

Terra and Fie burst into laughter.

Darius was glad to finally get a bath. He went into the bathing room and smiled at the steam rising from the hot bath. He asked the maid for some fresh clothes and closed the door behind him. Taking off the nasty, dirty clothes he was wearing, he got in the water and all the dirt came off of him. He sat there for a minute, thinking about all that had taken place in the last few days. He was really glad that Ostia would help him. He got out of the bath and dried off, putting on the fresh clothes. A dark purple long coat, a pale blue tunic, and some white pants.
He went into the dining room and took a seat, greeting Fie and Terra again.
