You feel yourself waking from a long sleep, blood crusted on the sheets below you and you shiver in the dark of your room.
You've been moved, and it's only been three days. You are more resiliant than RA predicted, and you let out a low hiss followed by a series of clicking sounds that echo in the dark. You try to move but an ice cold shot of pain races up your arm like a coiling snake.
You look down at your left arm and almost scream, it's gnarled and black and turned. You shove yourself forward with one arm, and scream for real. Your arms are too long your legs are too long your hair is white on one side and you have...horns. Your ears flick, and you realise they're seperated into almost ...fins.

in which clerise copes.
Record start. Clerise's thoughts are ill formed and feel alien in a mind no longer only hers, but the Feed understands, and starts the process.
[ staggering in, looking broken. falls on bed. ]
I don't know what's happening. I fled the ....the Aerin place as fast as I could, but I don't know if it was enough. He'll know.
There's someone else in my head.
I'm older than I used to be, I think.
I'm a few inches taller and I have new parts and they HURT. (can you make them stop?)
I have trouble moving my arm right. but it's my left arm so i guess that makes sense. somehow.
i'm faster now! i tried to run out but went woosh and hit a wall instead.
I need to find cerceris
then i need to find RA.
I don't know what to do anymore.
...

in which clerise realizes.
Record start. Clerise pieces together the words with less hesitation than before. The alien presence in her mind has begun to meld with her own, and she feels that her Feed understands it perfectly now. She wasn't sure whether to be thankful or to be afraid.
I asked RA what was going on.
It's...tired. It has to hold the real self of it inside, because it somehow got loose. We don't know how and it's kind of scary.
I wish I knew ...
[ blinks, staring at arms ]
There is Cerceris' white rabbit. Why is it with me? Huh. I guess she left it when she left. I wonder if she's getting me food. I'm hungry. I've eaten already but there's a craving for...something in me.
I don't know what yet and it's kinda scary. I wish I knew what I wanted. I wish I knew if its actually what I want and not what the real alien RA wants. I'm sorta scared.
[ flashback ]
"MOMMY!" Clerise screams, reaching out her hand. "Mommy, where are you?" Her hand collides with something wet and sticky and when she pulls it away her palms are red and wet as well.
She screams, and runs towards the door, but a body swings down to block her path. Grotesque and mutilated, it was once her father. She screams again, louder and shriller but there is no one left to hear her. There is no one left to hold her and comfort her, they are dead.
Her father's eyes, pulled viciously from their socket, stare at her. A dead and skinned hand reach up to pet her face, the corpse trying to sooth her with wheezing sounds, before reaching up to her right eye, and rapidly pressing against it with sharp bone.
Clerise tries to struggle, but she feels six flesh only arms curling around her, hugging her and whispering with their slashed larynxs. She feels the blood pooling in her burst eye, and sinks to the floor and screams again and again and-
TRANSMISSION END.
Clerise woke uo screaming, and lashed out at the nearest person.

"Nngh..."
Hiro rubbed his left eye with the back of his hand. He sat up, and was now sitting on his knees. He only had a moment of conciousness until he was hit back down. He hadn't even had time to completely wake up before he collided with the ground again, almost crushing part of his wing. Still not realizing he was in a girl's dorm room, he started looking around. He was still half asleep. He had no idea where he'd gone to bed that night. He'd just woken up to the screaming, then the slap to the face. Not a good place to be at the moment, it seemed. He caressed his cheek with both hands now, trying to numb the pain.
"What's going on?"

Clerise heard Hiro waking up, although they didn't register. She lunged, screaming in a foreign tongue of clicking and hissing. Her hand made contact with Hiro's face, but it was her dead arm so it did no real damage but a bruise.
Even as Clerise listened to him ask, she tackled him and screamed again, crazed and still half in her nightmare realm. She mumbled words to herself as she tackled the small bee boy, and raised a hand to rip at his wings.

Hiro definitely wasn't prepared for some random person attacking him when he woke up. He didn't know how to fight -he'd never needed to. Still dazed and confused, Clerise only made it worse by tackling him. He didn't know what to do, and he was about to start going into complete panic mode.
Even if he did know how to fight, he could. His attacker was bigger than him, she was stronger, and he might be able to avoid or hit her back. But he couldn't. She was a girl. No matter what happened, he didn't want to hurt a girl. Yuki'd always told him not to hurt girls, no matter what they did. But at the moment, he had to do something. He was small enough so that even though she was on top of him, he could still move a bit. He was scared, and he didn't know what to do. She was going to hurt him. She was talking to herself -or screaming, he couldn't tell anymore.
He punched her in the stomach as hard as he could.
"I'm sorry!"

With a heavy "oof!" Clerise was propelled backwards. Even though they were both small, and Hiro even smaller than her, her body was still fragile, and her mind; even more so. She let loose a low whine, and scratched her claws against the floor.
Her back hit the wall with a lound thunk, and she started to claw at her face and her neck. "Makeitstop makeitstop stopstop stop NO DEATH no stop STOP IT." Her words trailed off to silence, where her eyes slipped closed and she seemed to twitch for a few moments. After that, she looked up and looked...afraid.
She said nothing, as she tried to curl her dead wing around her and almost seemed to...hide, from Hiro.

Hiro sat down again for a few moments. He could only watch, not really knowing what to do about her talking. He had no idea what was going on, what was happening to the girl before him. He'd never even met or heard of her before. He still hadn't been at school long enough to figure everything that went on under the surface. He still hadn't even had time to thing about where he was right now or how he got there. The girl's dorms were a big mystery.
The seconds seemed to pass by like hours. He slowly scooted towards Clerise on his knees. His hands propelled him forward. He didn't use his wings to move him forward, not wanting to startle her with the noise. When he was close enough to talk to her, but close enough to move if she struck out at him again, he tried to look under the wing to see her face. His smile had returned, as if nothing had happened.
"Are you all right?"

Clerise looked up tearily, and yelped when she saw his face. Her wing curled over her head. "Your face..." she trailed off, and pointed a claw at him. "I..I'm..fi.ne..." She shook her head, as if to clear it. "...Why...are you in my room?" She pouted. "You. Are not Cerceris."

"Eh? My face?"
All he could knew about was the bruise that was forming on his cheek. Other than that, everything seemed normal. Now he looked a little confused, because of the girl. But he smiled, still. he didn't really know what she was trying to tell him. Or tell herself. As he thought about it, he started to remember. He had been in the halls. But now, he definitely wasn't there anymore.
"I'm Hiro. I fell asleep in the hallway, I guess. I dunno how I got here."

Clerise glares at Hiro.
"Yea right. You boys are grody and nasty and I bet someone put you up to it cuz you're so innocent and wouldn't know what to do when you got here. Or something."
She crawled up and pushed past the boy, and fell onto her bed and bounced slightly. She pouted. "Tell anyone what you saw here and I'll make you regret it, mister beeman!"
She crosses her arms. "And if you don't go soon Cerceris will be back and she's a spooky spider aanida girl!" Clerise kicks her feet, and leans over to poke Hiro's nose. "Scram, mister smileytoes."
She looks at her hand then, and realizes she's got blood on her hands, and now it was on Hiro's nose. She got up and started to the bathroom.
"You've got red on you, just so ya know!"

Strangely, Hiro laughed. He wasn't laughing at Clerise, more at the fact that he had managed to fall asleep in the middle of a hallway. He moved away just a little to allow her to pass without completely pushing him down.
He turned to face her. He wasn't afraid of spiders, even considering the fact he was now part insect. She couldn't be that scary, and even if she was, he could probably avoid her. Though he didn't really want to. If anything, he was excited to meet her.
"Oh! So she's like a big spider! She must be so cool!"
It seemed he didn't plan on leaving anytime soon. He rubbed his nose with his finger and found she'd been telling the truth.

Clerise rolled her eyes, and washed her hands, blinking at all the swirling pink going down the drain.
"Glad you agree," she said, somewhat haughty, though it didn't really sound intentional. Just...arrogant. Her ears flattened when Hiro laughed, "What's so funny, beeface?"
She rolled her eyes, even if only one really cooperated, at his words. "Yea. She's neat. Likes tea a lot and can climb on the ceiling. Says the walls actually listen to her. They don't listen to me, just sort of shy away. It's weird."
Clerise noticed he didn't actually plan to leave, and siiiighed a deep sigh. "You're so weird. What's your name anyway, stripey?"

Hiro was still on the ground, and was now starting to rock back and forth. His hands were on the soles of his shoes, holding him in what seemed to look like a small ball shape. With wings. He wasn't laughing anymore. His smile was still there, though, brightening the room a little.
"So she really do that?!"
They say his eyes grew three sizes that day. Even though he could fly, it was amazing that someone could walk on the ceiling. He stopped his rocking, and looked in Clerise's direction. He didn't care that she rolled her eyes at him. Or he didn't notice. He began his rocking motions again before stopping and smiling at her back.
"I'm Hiro! What about you?"

Clerise snickers. "Yup! All over the building. If you hear clacking? look up!"
She dries her hands off, even if her gray hand is still clumsy, on a towel.
"My name's Clerise. Hiro? What a weird name! Are you from oldearth?"
She came back and sat down on her bed, kicking her heels.
