Very Special Case
You scored 73% Beginner, 86% Intermediate, 87% Advanced, and 77% Expert!
I don't know how you did it, but you boggle my mind! You got at least 75% of the intermediate, advanced, and expert questions correct, but you got 75% or less in the beginner section. How is this possible? Were you just guessing?????? Either way...
Thank you so much for taking my test. I hope you enjoyed it!
My test tracked 4 variables. How you compared to other people your age and gender: You scored higher than 99% on Beginner You scored higher than 99% on Intermediate You scored higher than 99% on Advanced You scored higher than 99% on Expert
I feel so weird now... crying

Raishin Hmm. Maybe. :3 I'll unleash this in the Chatterbox, despite it'll be a repeat(1). And(2) I'll tell everyone to claim to be their (3) age if over 18, unless they're under 18, then I'll tell them to claim to be 18. I want to see how stupid these people are for myself. (: 1. Despite should be followed by "the fact that." 2. No need to add "and" to the beginning of a sentence that doesn't need it. Get rid of it. 3. EveryONE is a singular collective noun. The pronouns referring to everyone need to be singular as well. There's even a thread on that subject on the first page of this guild. 4. That second sentence reads like the run on sentence of doom. Try making separate sentences. If you're not comfortable with splitting up the independent clauses, using a semicolon will do the job. Aryu -- You didn't make those grammatical errors, so you have no reason to feel dumb.

Quote: English Genius You scored 92% Beginner, 100% Intermediate, 100% Advanced, and 80% Expert! You did so extremely well, even I can't find a word to describe your excellence! You have the uncommon intelligence necessary to understand things that most people don't. You have an extensive vocabulary, and you're not afraid to use it properly! Way to go! Thank you so much for taking my test. I hope you enjoyed it! I am running back through the test right now to figure out what I missed in the first and last sections. I'm so easily bothered by things like this!

Aryu -- You didn't make those grammatical errors, so you have no reason to feel dumb. Since this board has been brought back, I am now able to tell you that you basically just rewrote my sentence instead of correcting really anything that needed it. The only thing useful was 3) and 4) to me. Everything else was just putting my sentence in your phrasing. :/

I do take issue with some of the questions that were probably considered expert-level even if I got a higher score by guessing what they wanted, such as the question about phenomenon and phenomena. Phenomena has been used (as has stamina and agenda) as the singular form of phenomenon for several hundred years. So is it phenomenon, phenomena, or both? The world may never know.

I'm only 13 and I did well on this test. It was quite simple, but it shows how society has no respect for grammar.

Eh, good enough I suppose. I knew some of them I would get wrong. I got all the obvious ones. I feel pretty good about my score, but I think I could have done better.
