ℍ𝕖𝕝𝕝𝕠 𝕖𝕧𝕖𝕣𝕪𝕠𝕟𝕖! I’ve truly loved being on this journey with you all. The challenges filled me with excitement as I worked through each new visual puzzle, followed by the joy of seeing those incredible creations brought to life by all the other models. Along the way, I enjoyed learning more about the history of this guild and I found myself reevaluating my own work and growing as a creator. Before this competition I never used the Avatar Builder, but now I've come to love it and the freedom it offers. As the competition neared its end, I realized how much I missed seeing the familiar faces and unique stories of the many talented designers. Creating this final fashion line has therefore been both an honor and a joy.
You may know me here as 𝑺𝒐𝒈𝒈𝒚𝒌𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒏𝑨𝑹𝑻, but in my everyday life there is one title I answer to above all others: 𝓜𝓸𝓶. I have a feisty eight-year-old son, and this past year I’ve spent my days and nights alongside my precious baby daughter, now just over fourteen months old. I know all too well how fleeting these tender moments are, when your baby is small, cuddly, and seemingly able to do no wrong.
To create a fashion line that felt truly personal, I focused on this season of life, when a new mother’s entire world centers around that sweet, chubby little face. Many of these looks were created while holding my daughter close, comforting her through new teeth or late-night wake-ups.
Once I decided to depict the models as new mothers, another challenge emerged. I wanted each model to share a moment with her baby while still honoring that this is, first and foremost, a fashion competition. The solution was to create two looks for each model, one with the baby and one without, and animate them together. I also wanted every design to feel complete from front to back, making this the most technically demanding project I’ve ever undertaken.
Each outfit in this lineup was built around a baby, an element with limited pose and color options. Much like my own children have shaped my life, these babies guided the direction of each look. Every new mother deserves clothing that makes her feel both comfortable and beautiful. 𝓕𝓵𝓸𝓻𝓪𝓵 𝓶𝓸𝓽𝓲𝓯𝓼 and 𝓱𝓮𝓪𝓻𝓽 𝓲𝓶𝓪𝓰𝓮𝓻𝔂 appear throughout the collection, sometimes subtly, sometimes boldly, symbolizing the beauty and love woven into motherhood. The recurring 𝓼𝓽𝓸𝓻𝔂𝓫𝓸𝓸𝓴 𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓶𝓮 reflects both enjoying life’s stories and passing them down to our tiny humans.
To create a sense of cohesive unity, each look is framed with the ornate Nouveau Frame, set against the Constellation Columba's starry skies, and accented with Feeling Doki-Doki hearts for that touch of motherly love. Together, our models gently guide you through a day, from morning to night.
Now that you know what inspired this collection, I am honored to present my designs. Thank you so much for this opportunity. It has been a deeply meaningful creative outlet during this season of my life.

𝔼ver since my last pregnancy I have taken to wearing dresses regularly. Mine are incredibly comfortable, accommodate my body at every stage, and allow me to feel put together in seconds without effort. Olivia's dress was inspired by this sense of ease and versatility. Through careful layering, I tripled the skirt to achieve opacity and used Cʏɴᴏᴘᴏʟɪs Pʀɪᴇsᴛᴇss (Tᴏʀsᴏ A) to construct a belt that shapes her floral bodice, creating a look that is both practical and flattering. Her bookbag features a subtle gold heart stitched into the front panel. ✧ ⋆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━⋆ Equipped Items:

𝕆nce Marilou set down the little ones, completing the front of her shirt took some finesse. The collar and bust clipped the shirt’s foundation, so the remaining layers needed to overlay the bust while still sitting cleanly beneath the collar. Her blouse features a decorative lace back panel and an ornate, colorful flower and heart design on the front. When paired with shorts and sneakers, the result blends sporty and artistic elements, presenting her as mature, capable, and comfortably maternal.
The shirt, Sᴇʀᴇɴᴀᴅɪɴɢ Pʀɪɴᴄᴇss Pᴏɴʏ, clips the front layer of the sash, opening the design and allowing the outfit to remain visible. This also gives the impression of a baby sling that has been loosened after setting her little one down. When worn fully, the sash functions as a fashionable sling, offering support, shade, or even a modest nursing cover when needed. ✧ ⋆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━⋆ Equipped Items:

𝕋his technical look tells a story. Two cutters were used to remove both the grass and hair from the Sᴜɴɴʏ Aꜰᴛᴇʀɴᴏᴏɴ ʟᴇɢs. Then, to conceal the Cʜᴀʀᴍɪɴɢ Cʜᴇsʜɪʀᴇ Gʀɪɴ, Kiana wears a stylish bandana that doubles as a burp cloth, ready if she needs it. When posed with her book, Dɪᴠɪɴᴇ Gᴜᴀʀᴅɪᴀɴ Sᴘɪʀɪᴛ applies vitiligo markings on her hand.
I am often found around my house with a random stray bow or hair accessory clipped or tied into my hair, usually something that my little girl pulled out of her own, or one of the kids scattered somewhere along the way. And when she notices it there, she always reaches up to claim it for herself. It felt fitting to let that small, familiar moment live inside this design. ✧ ⋆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━⋆ Equipped Items:

𝕀 once owned a polyester robe that seemed determined to punish me with static shocks. Last year, I finally replaced it with the coziest wool robe, and it was worth every cent. While mine is white, fuzzy, and leaves me looking rather like a sheep, Tamara’s wool housecoat is well-tailored, featuring a scholarly pattern and elegant ruffles cascading down the back.
This look required very strategic layering to achieve. I needed to mask the legs that originally accompany the baby. Aᴜᴛᴜᴍɴᴀʟ Sᴀɴᴄᴛᴜᴍ Sᴏᴘʜɪᴀ worked beautifully for this purpose, but it introduced a new challenge. Her coat began cutting awkwardly through the raised legs. To resolve this, I used Sʟᴇᴇᴘʏ Pʀɪɴᴄᴇss Eᴛᴏɪʟᴇ ʟᴇɢs to camouflage the drape and create the illusion of her little one resting on his knees in a seated pose. The teddy bear also serves this purpose while making the perfect companion for story time. The remaining fabric is intentionally justified as a loose belt detail, allowing the silhouette to read as both functional and cohesive. The appearance of a delicate gold necklace was created using a yellow undershirt. ✧ ⋆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━⋆ Equipped Items:

𝕀n the early weeks of motherhood, providing plenty of kangaroo care is deeply beneficial for both baby and mother. Delilah’s look was designed with these tender early needs in mind. The soft drape of her gown allows for skin-to-skin comfort and can gently replace her bedding that has been removed for baby’s safety when tucked securely beneath mother.

𝓐𝓰𝓪𝓲𝓷, thank you for this opportunity! I truly enjoyed every part of this experience, from the creative challenges to the encouragement and thoughtful feedback along the way. Making it this far, and earning a couple of wins during the cycle, was an honor I’m incredibly grateful for.
I was having so much fun throughout this competition that I ended up creating a look for each of this cycle’s models. After judging has concluded, I’ll be sharing those additional designs in a follow-up post:
✧ A cycle 7 Lookbook, featuring extra looks and a small behind-the-scenes peek✧ Thank you to the judges, hosts, and my fellow contestants for such a meaningful and inspiring experience.
❀ Lovely Soggy...❀ I wanted to start off by saying that throughout this whole cycle, you've always been quite the wild card to me— each and every challenge I feel you've brought something unexpected to the table, making every look a delightful surprise. This collection is no different! I'm touched by how sweet and personal this is, and I can really feel how much pride you take in your role as a mother coming through. Looking at our final collections this cycle, you've easily brought the most creative theme, and making the experience of motherhood the focus of your collection knowing that baby-themed items are so limited is certainly an impressive feat. I also wanted to call special attention to your formatting—which, while it doesn't factor into scoring—is always a work of art. Of the looks presented, sweet and playful Marilou and the mother-goddess-like Delilah are highlights for me. While every look tells a wonderful story, I would have loved to see the fashion concepts elevated just a little more throughout, especially for Olivia as your main model. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed seeing this side of you shared with us. Well done!
Soggy As a mom myself I really appreciate this collection. It has a lot of heart and I do feel it has some very cute momcore looks. Its a creative inspiration and I applaud you for embracing this part of yourself for the collection. Especially because I specifically avoided letting myself use my motherhood / my daughter as inspiration for my collection because I was afraid of portraying myself through that lens.
I do like the story behind Kiana's look because I also end up with bows in my hair the same way but I wish there were more bows. The outfits for her and Marilou just aren't as strong as the other three. Delilah has my favorite look I adore that its this lovely lingerie but done in a way that feels sweet with the baby. I wish I had underwear/sleepwear that was so cute after I had my daughter. Tamara looks warm and cozy and the mix of patterns here works very well. Olivia looks beautiful in green but her look isn't as strong as Delilah or Tamara I wish it had a little more going on.
Overall It just wasn't as fashion focused as I wanted for the finale. Some of the looks are incredibly cute and stylish I wish you had pushed them a tad farther. This is not to say that I don't think you did an amazing job! I love the way you think about multiple angles. I love the heart you put into these looks. I can see the thought and personal connection in each design. I want you to be proud of yourself you have delivered so many strong looks throughout the competition and in this collection.

My PC7 Finale Thoughts (Flames' Version)
SoggykittenART, nenone, and John, congratulations to you three, our finalists for Project Catwalk Cycle 7! emotion_bigheart
You three made your mark in the cycle, made iconic fashion moments, and dominated. You ate, you mothered, and you conquered, and I couldn't be prouder to be a witness to your journeys that led to this very moment.
I love every single designer in this cycle. I think every single one of you has what it takes to win this cycle, but kudos to you, final three, for making it to the end.
With all that said, here are my thoughts for the finale collections of Cycle 7:
SoggykittenART — Olivia:
Mother Soggy, I adore your creative process in every single entry you brought throughout the cycle. In every challenge, you always bring something new to the table, something that no one's ever thought of. You mothered the competition, bagging yourself 2 challenge wins, with your 2nd win securing you a spot in the finale. Kudos to you for your run, mama.
I am deeply in awe at your love letter to yourself as a mom, and to all moms out there in the form of art, that is, this amazing collection centred around motherhood. I meant it when I said I love your creative process in your looks, and, dare I say, this might be the most creative work you've done yet. Your Kiana looks adorable in pink and purple, with the baby clips to add to the cuteness. Tamara looks chic and cosy in this brown floral number. My personal favourites in your collection are Delilah, looking like a supermodel in her maternity photoshoot, and Olivia, your main model, in this exquisite emerald green and gold number, looking like a paparazzi-ready celebrity mom.
Beautifully maternal as Marilou looks in this spring-like themed outfit, I find her to be the least memorable, compared to the other moms. Love and praises for what you presented to us aside, compared to your fellow finalists, your collection falls a tad towards the simpler side. I do wish that you had gone more ambitious with your stylings, to give what's already a solid concept that extra push to the next level. Regardless, this collection is full of love, and I love it, and you, Soggy.

Everyone who competed this cycle should be proud of themselves, but especially you three finalists. You have all had some of the best journeys I've ever seen in Project Catwalk. The highs and the lows, the not even being a first round pick all the way to the finale, it has been an amazing thing to see. Thank you for being a part of it, for giving it so much time and letting all of us get to know you better and enjoy your art. heart
SoggykittenART with Olivia Soggy love, I love that you always go all out on the presentation for your entries. Ever since Olivia's Bloom Nook I've been excited to see what you would bring for the over all aesthetic of the post, and you didn't disappoint here. You also got top marks from me for creativity for this finale collection. Each individual look in your collection was perhaps not the most creative? But the over all vision was so good and I never would have thought to approach a collection from a realistic view of motherhood. Olivia looks fantastic - green is truly her color. Also loooove that you gave Kiana vitiligo on her hands. I also really appreciated that you considered the 360 aspect of the looks and gave complete looks as a result. Now some of the babies look odd and don't really match their mama, but I get the vision. For me the weakest look of the collection was Delilah. I loved the idea of her look and it was such a smart thing to do, but it just didn't look good. Colors were both too matchy and too clashing, and something with the pose and layering just looked off. But this was a delightful collection over all, you have been a joy this cycle, and I can't wait to see what you keep doing from here.
You always had the most unlike others' ideas, while some fashion choices were a hit or miss, you would always score high with your creativity. Your final collection is no different; it's truly a unique and personal experience. While I myself am not a mother, I can appreciate how you weaved motherhood into your collection, creating a bunch of warm and cozy looks. Out of all the outfits you've made, my favourite would be Marilou's, she just looks so playful, the colours remind me of spring and Easter... I do wish you focused a bit more on the fashion aspect of some of the looks, but you still did amazingly, nonetheless! Also, it would be a crime if I were not to mention how amazing your formatting is, and the addition of GIFs was a really smart idea!
Second place goes to... SoggykittenART With the collection The Days We Share and model Olivia.

Do I think these entries here are fashion? Yes. Do I think they're high fashion? No. Does that matter? Well, fashion is art, and art is subjective, and I subjectively think this collection is fantastic. Granted, I would've loved for this collection to be a tad more ambitious in the styling, but the finer details of it make up for that need. Though all entries here are simple, the attention to detail, from the concept down to the colours, is just pure bliss. I adore Delilah. She looks like she's straight out of a maternity photoshoot. Tamara looks mom-chic while being warm and cosy. Kiana, in this purple and pink number, looks endearingly adorable. Marilou, looking lively in her maternal garb and jolly in this outdoor setting. Last but never least, Soggy's main model, Olivia, looks the most fashionable out of her five entries, as Olivia should be. This Olivia entry reads celebrity mom out to run errands for her little one, and I live. I live for all the entries, but I live for the Olivia entry the most. And to Soggy, you ate, and you mothered!
Comments: While this collection isn't really that good fashion-wise, it's really cute, creative and personal. It just exudes warmth and love. Sadly, the outfits are the weaker part. Most of them feel a bit too mismatched or chaotic. Marilou is one of my faves, she looks really comfortable, and the colours work well, she gives off very spring-y vibes, which I find cute! I love the colours Soggy chose for Tamara, but I am not too fond of the nosemod. And the bear. The makeup/nose makes Tamara look sharper and kinda... pissed off and puffy? Olivia looks nice, but I just don't understand why Soggy added the sun hat in these colours. If she found one with the same green as Olivia's dress, or without any colour at all, it could've worked much, much better. Kiana looks nice; the pinks and purples fit her quite well. I just wish I could see the whole look without the books covering her. Also, the books kinda clash with her, so it's hard to focus on her outfit. Delilah is... here. I love the pose, the environment, but I dunno about the bra colour. Her hair also looks off, just because we have three different shades of raspberry-ish colour.
Comments:Soggy gets top marks in creativity for this collection, it is the most creative theme I've ever seen. I'm not sure there was a lot of creativity in each individual look, but over all it is still so creative that it gets top marks. i love that Soggy always goes all in on formatting but this was a hard one to judge. The still outfits aren't with the descriptions, and the gif looks transition a little too fast. Olivia looks absolutely fantastic. I want that outfit. Also want to mention that while not necessary, I looooove that Soggy considered the back of the look as well. Also love how personal this is! Marilou's outfit shows off the complexity of simple, which Soggy is great at. Not sure why she's holding a white baby, but the baby crawling behind her is black. Looove that she gave Kiana vitiligo on her hands. Tamara's face looks puffy. Delilah is one of the most unexpected looks in a positive way, but is my bottom look. Colors are both too matchy and too clashing, something with the legs keeps drawing my eye.
Comments: As a mom myself I really appreciate this collection. It has a lot of heart and I do feel it has some very cute momcore looks. Its a creative inspiration and I applaud her for embracing this part of herself for the collection. Especially because I specifically avoided letting myself use my motherhood / my daughter as inspiration for my collection because I was afraid of portraying myself through that lens. However the issue here is it just wasn't as fashion as I wanted for the finale. Some of the looks are incredibly cute and stylish but I am not a fan of Marilou or Kiana's outfits. I do like the story behind Kiana's look because I also end up with bows in my hair the same way but I wish there were more. I think Delilah has my favorite look I adore that its this lovely lingerie but done in a way that feels sweet with the baby. I wish I had underwear/sleepwear that was so cute after I had my daughter.
