Rolling for sushi! yum_shrimp yum_tuna yum_salmon
Made some homemade sushi over the weekend, by the way. Not traditional, but yummy. Used imitation crab. Flavored the rice with low sodium soy sauce, garlic, onion powder, and ginger. Then rolled with dried seaweed. Simple, healthy, and tasty. I love seaweed, but my wife hates it, so she had it without the seaweed, lol.

Made some homemade sushi over the weekend, by the way. Not traditional, but yummy. Used imitation crab. Flavored the rice with low sodium soy sauce, garlic, onion powder, and ginger. Then rolled with dried seaweed. Simple, healthy, and tasty. I love seaweed, but my wife hates it, so she had it without the seaweed, lol.

I've always wanted to make homemade sushi, but I'm always too timid to work with raw fish.
Although I suppose I could always do a spicy tuna roll, but imitation crab is also a good idea!
My husband and I also love seaweed, and sushi, but my mom hates it, so we only have it when we go out to eat on date nights.
We buy seaweed from the HMart near us and some days I'll just have some tuna with rice and kimchi and seaweed.
I've made kimbap a few times but it is SO MUCH WORK. xd

Chocolate is the king for me. Like, seriously. I loooove chocolate. Lindt or Cadbury is preferred, but I will eat other brands, too.
Except Hershey's. Hershey's can go die the painful, soured milk death it deserves.
But I also love gummies. Albanese is hands-down the best brand. If I'm in the right mood, though, I also like me some Nerds or Runts. whee

Tonight I'm making baked cornflake chicken. It's like fried chicken but significantly healthier for you. Because it's, you know, not battered and then deep fried in oil.

I popped your totals in and since I started the week late I will also give everyone who signs up this week the first two days of fruits too. So you are still on streak for the 2x fruits bonus at the end of the week. wink I'm with you on chocolate yum_chocolatebar ! I'm preferable to Ghirardelli because it has the least amount of cadmium and lead of the chocolate available to me here. I used to love Cadbury but I can't have it anymore because it's full of seed oils which will spike my inflammation like crazy. sweatdrop I've never tried cornflake chicken! It sounds yummy. :9 My grandma used to make cornflake cookies that I looooooved as a kid (and still to this day!) but I can't have most cornflakes either because a lot of them are enriched or GMO. crying I miss the days when I didn't worry about what I ate. rofl

I would love to try those cornflake cookies! When I used to work, my coworker made potato chip cookies once. They were thin and crispy, and very sweet, and extremely addictive! whee
My mom makes the best cookies ever, though. Chocolate chip cookies. I need to get the recipe from her, but I also don't want to because they're my mom's, and if I can just make them then they won't be as special. But they are totally the best. They've always been my favorite. heart
