Coming back from the commercial break, CWF would announce their sponsors for tonight's program, including Blue Chew and McDonalds, before the camera would show the titantron. Then the lights dim a bit, and the familar countdown shows on the big screen, and the fans cheering loudly as they know Christian Cage is about to make his entrance! Once the countdown ends, the instrumental of "My Last Breath' by Evanescence would play, and after some time, Christian would make his way through the curtains, to a bigger pop! He walks out to the top of the ramp, nodding his head at the audience cheering for him, as he is introduced by the announcer. " Ladies and Gentlemen please welcome... CHRISTIAN.. CAAAGGEEE!"  Christian would head down the ramp, shaking some fans hands at ringside, ready to move on from Wrestlemania. He walks up the steps and enters the ring, walking to a far corner and standing on the middle rope and doing his signature look to the fans with his hand over his forehead, looking at all of his peeps in attendance. Fresh off a victory at Wrestlemania in one of the greatest matches in CWF history, a 2-1 victory against Edge in a 30 minute iron man match. He gets down, walking around the ring. He receives a microphone from an attendant at ringside, and his theme music would fade out.

Microphone in hand, Christian Cage would begin to speak after the crowd finally settled down. "At Wrestlemania, I went through the hardest, most painful battle I ever went through in my entire career, when I faced my former best friend, Edge, in that Iron man match. I wasn't proud of the fact that it came to all that, because I lost a good friend, but it happened, and I won, and I'm ready to put Edge, Wrestlemania, all of that in the rear view mirror right now. Wrestlemania is over, and CWF is back!" The fans would cheer, as Christian pauses for a moment. He would speak again. "BUT, having defeated Edge at Wrestlemania, I earned a World Championship match of my choice, WHENEVER I Choose!" The audience would cheer again, glad to see Christian entering t the world title picture. "So even as a Throwdown superstar, I could go to WAR and challenge Abyss for the CWF Championship.... I could challenge the NEW World Heavyweight Champion Matt Gennison...." The fans cheer loudly for Matt Gennison specifically, as Christian speaks again. "I could challenge either one of them right here on throwdown. I could challenge on WAR. Or any Pay Per View, or live event, whenever I please! I could call Matt Gennison out here right now!" Christian would grin at the audience who starts cheering, but he was clearly clickbaiting here. "But Im not gonna do that. Im gonna make both Matt Gennison and Abyss sweat it out a little bit. And no matter what this new management of Throwdown thinks, NO ONE will stop me from finally claiming gold in CWF!" Christian would look into the camera after pausing here, as the fans were cheering at the thought of Christian finally becoming world champion in CWF.

The arena is still buzzing from Christian Cage’s proclamation earlier in the night: he can challenge any champion, anytime.
The crowd is divided. Some excited, some uneasy. Suddenly, the lights cut to black. Not a flicker. Total darkness. A low ambient hum rolls through the arena, heavy and hollow. The audience quiets, phone lights beginning to glow. Then a faint, distorted piano note echoes through the speakers.
The opening of “Left Alone” by Zero 936 begins to swell. Smoke creeps across the stage as a single white spotlight fades up at the top of the ramp. Standing in it is Trent. The CWF Tag Team Championship around his waist, but lacking the coveted World Heavyweight Championship. There was no pyro. No pose. Just him. The reaction builds—less explosive, more emotional. Respect for the man who gave it all, but fell just short.
Michael Cole: “You can feel the energy of Trent, Pat. At WrestleMania, Trent would lose the CWF World Championship to his best friend on the grandest stage of them all.”
Pat McAfee: “And now he’s gotta walk out here without it, Cole. That’s the part nobody talks about. The morning after. The silence. That changes a man.”
The first heavy beat of the song drops and Trent starts walking, slow and deliberate. No high-fives, no theatrics. His eyes are locked ahead. The crowd begins chanting his name. He pauses halfway down the ramp and scans the arena, jaw tightening as he processes the moment.
Cole: “Christian Cage said he can challenge any champion at any time. But the man who defined one of the championships he brought up for the past year is standing right in front of him.”
McAfee: “Christian’s talking about opportunity. Trent’s walking out here with something to prove.”
The song builds toward its heavier section as Trent reaches ringside.
Inside the ring, Christian Cage leans casually in the corner with a microphone, wearing a smug half-smile. Trent stops at the steel steps and looks up at him.
The tension is immediate.
The breakdown of the song hits as Trent steps onto the apron and enters between the ropes, never breaking eye contact. The lighting pulses with the beat. He steps into the center of the ring, face to face with Christian. The music fades. The crowd noise swells into a charged hum.
Grabbing a microhpone from an official who fetched it from the timekeepers area, Trent would stand there still staring a hole through Christian.
The crowd chanting for both men for a moment, looking back and forth through the crowd, and back at Christian who began to lift his microphone, but Trent would be quick to cut him off.
"Before I get into it. I want to congratulate you, Christian. Believe it or not. Before my match, I had a moment to sit with the rest of the people in the back and watch you go head to head with your brother. Your closest friend, in one of the most emotionally charged matches I have ever seen."
Placing his hand out, not to offer his hand to Christian, but to point at him.
"He had one of the best matches of the night with his former best friend."
Trent said to the crowd, who would cheer for a moment, only to be cut off by Trent.
"Unlike me, who had the best match of the night with his best friend."
Both men having some parallels between their nights, with a major exception.
"But, you won yours, and I ended up losing. You gained a major opportunity. But I want to give you a warning before you decide who to use it on."
With a breath, still pointing at Christian whos half smile was becoming more of a grimace the longer Trent spoke.
"I know what Edge and you are made of. One of the best tag teams, innovators of the TLC Match, and individually you are both even better than when you are together. But, Matt Gennison and I, not to boast, are on a completely different level than either of you. Doing everything, even disregarding our skills and fighting like a bunch of animals. That is what it would come down to. If you use your chance on Matt, it would be wasted. And even if you squeezed by, on your best day, I will be right around that corner to take back what is mine."
Laying into Christian, the crowd wasn't entirely sure how to take it. But everyone knew Christian was bound to respond.

Christian was surprised to see Trent come out, and he listens to what he has to say. Nodding his head at times, appreciating the kind words. Christian would respond to Trent. "You know Trent, you bring up some very good points. And let me add a little bit to that. You and Matt Gennison were best friends before Wrestlemania, best friends during Wrestlemania, and best friends AFTER Wrestlemania. Me and Edge on the other hand, are DONE. We fought each other at Wrestlemania with HATE between both of us. So I give kudos to you and Matt both for establishing a friendship like blood." Christian nods his head, as the fans cheer his words, and when they quiet down, he speaks again. "But Trent here's where I will push back. Youre not standing in the ring with one half of the greatest tag team of all time. TLC matches, tag team championships, Edge and Christian... youre standing in the ring with... Christian... Cage... I am a one man show, and I'm the smartest man in this ring, and when I do decide to use my championship clause, I WILL win the championship, whether its the CWF Championship... or I do in fact take that World Heavyweight championship from Matt Gennison." Christian would pause a bit... before speaking again. "Ive got an idea Trent. You say youre gonna be right around the corner if I do win that World Title, we'll youre not in a match tonight, Im not in a match tonight.... why dont we have ourselves a little 1 on 1 match here tonight and you can try and make me eat my words!" The audience would cheer loudly, wanting to see Christian Cage vs Trent here tonight! Christian waits to see if Trent accepts his challenge for later tonight.

A bolstered cheer would come out from the crowd who were excited at the idea of Trent vs Christian Cage.
Once again looking to the people in the stands. Trent looked to Christian Cage.
"You're on."
Another pop from the crowd. Trent let the acceptance sit before tossing the microphone to the side, preparing to leave the ring as he had said all that he wanted.
Cole: "With that, we got a huge match promised for tonight."
McAfee: "Both men kept it respectable, but I am wondering how far that respect when both of them cross paths in the ring, tonight!"
