Turning a wry smile at his brother, so eager to get rid of him, Halle nodded and was able to refrain from outright laughing. It was obvious enough that he couldn’t even be mad. Plus he’d seen Dering’s ability in action, the blonde Knight would protect his brother well enough, even if Halle would be even more comfortable if he knew the fun ins and outs of that shield magic. But this wasn’t exactly the time or place to demand measurements, range, and side-effects, now was it? Something to consider for later, though. With that in mind, he gave Dering a thumb’s up to let the other know he trusted him with babysitting the often impulsive younger twin.

As plans were made, Halle took in not just what they were saying, but tried to get an idea of the currents between the others. Friendly unfamiliarity, warm trust, small tensions. Well, that last…considering the context, tension was just going to be there. Likely until they left and were safely back to what was increasingly feeling like the real world.

At his name, Halle’s attention snapped to Amarynthos. Oh, they’d have something close to a holy trinity, huh? He liked the sound of it, especially since they’d have a page with them. With a grin, he agreed, “Lyons and tigers and bears, oh my? I guess we’re the Oz team.” After a moment he added, a little more helpfully, “I’ve also got a boar summon.”

Before they separated, he tugged Lisse’s cape and said quietly, “Don’t do anything…” he couldn’t say stupid, or reckless, that would just make Lisse actively look for something likely to end in stitches, “...uncool. Okay?” That was also probably the wrong thing to say, but whatever. He would pay for it later when his brother was safe and sound.

Following Amarynthos and Ephesus, in step with Lyon, Halle kept his eyes sweeping ahead and trying not to feel like he was filling in a Silent Hill map. Ephesus’ optimism was probably a little more ominous than he’d meant, but Halle found himself smiling anyway with a bit of grim humor, maybe even some bravado. “Well, we can’t keep it waiting now, can we?”

Stirling brightened when Cynthus linked arms with her, and she looked at Rose when she approached and did the same. They were a trio and for now at least, they would be utterly united. It was fun. Almost made it feel like this was just a happy girls night and not a potentially dangerous situation. Which…honestly? Was great. Really great.

She felt as though she had purpose right now, and that was protecting these two which, wouldn’t be too hard, at least in her own mind. Cynthus she knew could absolutely take care of herself if it came to it, and Rose seemed to have a good head on her shoulders. And they were all girls, which gave them at least three times the brain power of everyone else here. It was fine. “See you all later!” Stirling called back as the three moved away.

To Rose she nodded. “I love my hat too, it’s super fancy. Maybe you’ll get a cool hat when you get stronger too. I’m all about Lysithea Knights with hats.”

Or hats in general, if she were going to be honest. Hats were cool.
